After 8 months of the run around, Merit's came out looked at the dishwasher ordered the correct seal unfortunately it was still leaking, Greg came out again took the dishwasher apart and ordered a new part and it works great. We purchased a hot tub a few years back. After the first year the speakers fell apart. Merit's said they would replace and install them for cost. After a year of back and forth, one of the techs came out and put the speakers in but did not hook them up. I ended up calling Relax Hot Tubs to come and finish the job. I was happy to pay them. I sent a copy of the bill to Merit's thinking the right thing to do would be to reimburse me for having to have another business come and finish the job for them. I did not even get a response from them. The head rest's also fell apart. Merit's ordered new ones, never called us to pick them up and ended up selling them to someone we knew. We purchased our washer and dryer from Merit only to be continually disappointed. 3 weeks after purchase our brand new Electrolux dryer breaks down, we call to have a tech come out immediately because we need our dryer with our 6 kids. Merit sent a tech out a week and half later. Only to be told we need a part and we don't know when it will be in. I asked for a loaner dryer in the meantime since this is a machine failure. The tech said he will have someone contact me. I have yet to hear back from them. I have called only to be told we'll have someone call you back, and it never happens. We just moved here from Arizona and desperately needed a washer and dryer. We decided to go here first because so far our impression of this town has been great. Unlike Arizona, everyone is friendly here, cares about one another and small business treat their customers with respect...except THIS PLCACE!! We bought a washer and dryer from them and when the drier wouldn't pull lint (we only had it a few days) we called and tried to exchange, not get our money back just EXCHANGE and actually buy a way more expensive one! They gave us the run around for 3 days every time we'd call they said "we'll have Ryan call you" who is this so called Ryan than never calls??? Well finally on the 4th day a minion sales person picked up and my husband said we need a dryer that works now, and the sales person said we'll give you $300 for the one we sold you , that's a all we can do. Their own worker compared their place to a car dealership. His own words "if you buy something from us and it goes off the lot, it's your problem now." Are you kidding me!? We wanted to go to Home Depot in the first place and this the sales person at Merits told us not to because their place has more in stock or can get it quicker, we'll at least Home Depot treats their customers right and has an excellent return and exchange policy! I will always choose Home Depot for appliances now. Being here less than a month and loving Klamath Falls so far and how nice everyone my family has met....until now at Merit's...I'm shocked and appalled how this this business is being ran and how they respond to customers when things arise. When we purchased our new home, the refrigerator was broken and had been for some time. Part of the agreement we made with the previous owners was to have it fixed. It took one hundred and eleven days from us moving in until the refrigerator worked at all, and even then the ice maker never has functioned. Once we got it back (after multiple awful interactions with the customer service department) we were so sick of dealing with them that an ice maker was the least of our concerns. We'll have someone else take a look at that part. A blind, one armed monkey would do a better job at communicating and fixing appliances. read more

Bought 6 major appliances from Merit's. They did a great job with explaining different options before purchase. Also did a great job with installation. One minor problem with refrigerator - they were quick to repair. Never had a problem with them. Always courteous, friendly and also they're there when they say they're going to be there. We spent nearly $20000 on appliances for our new home about a year ago at this store. The owner and manager, Ryan, was happy to sell these high end appliances to us. A year later when our dishwasher stopped working in early October, it took nearly three weeks to get a repair person out to our house, another two weeks to order the part and then it was the wrong part. We ended up having to cancel the first thanksgiving we've had in ten years, and the first holiday in our new house because of a dishwasher that sat there for nearly six weeks. I don't have any idea why we didn't buy from a more reputable dealer over in Medford instead of trying to keep our business local. The owner and the repair person both were snarky and the owner would not return my calls. read more

NOT a good place to do business. I had trouble initially getting call backs from the sales person and should have seen the writing on the wall. But....I placed an order for four expensive appliances June 5th. Problems getting the fridge he said, so we waited. Spoke with sales person July 9th and was told the fridge was finally there. So we traveled over 350 miles for a delivery set up for July 12th. (We are renovating a summer home) Well the fridge was not there July 9th or the 12th. Found out the 13th that it MIGHT be there by Monday the 15th. REALLY? The sales manager blatently lied to me on the 9th, hoping he would have it by the 12th, and he is conveniently out of town right now. I wish there was a zero star option. read more
