My husband and I ordered Merlin's delivery on our first night at the beach. We opened the cheese stick box and it stopped us in our tracks because they were so beautiful and cheesy and crispy! We got the Caprese thin crust and added chicken to half and meatballs to half and the cinnamon sticks. We had the greek pizza and the cheese pizza. The pizza base is really fluffy and can taste that it is freshly made. The cheese and veggies were fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas. Service was fast and it is a cute little place to have a quick bite. read more

However the reason for one star was they didn't give me my debit card back, and when I realized this and went back, someone in the kitchen had my card (my server went to the kitchen and retrieved it from a worker there). It was great to be able to find a place that served Gluten free pizza (I also have an egg allergy and there is no egg in the crust). I got the jalapeño popper pizza - no Thai chili sauce, cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks, all gluten free. My husband got a cheese pizza. I loved mine, and he liked mine too. He wasn't a big fan of the hand tossed crust and likened it to Little Caesars. I would for sure go back, and he said he would try the thin crust next time. Stopped on our Florida tour of the Destin area and over 2,000 Yelpers recommend this place. Quaint, on the corner, kind of a dive - but they probably serve the best pizza - based on the crowd for a Monday and the buzz in the kitchen. Server was friendly, swamped and taking orders for 5 tables at once. We are in No Hurry! 2 free sodas from the Yelp app too! They like Yelp!! The service isn't very good. I walked in wanting to get a seat and the host ignored me and gave seats to two parties who came in after me. Apparently if you aren't a big party they don't want you taking up space. I spoke up and the host denied he did anything wrong. The pizza was meh but edible, and the staff behind the counter were much better than the kid who was hosting. I ordered take-out because it was obvious I wasn't a seating priority. Just keep that in mind if you go there that the service is going to be subpar. I won't be going again. They need to treat their customers better. read more
