Caught someone trying to break into my car in the parking lot, luckily they ran off and didnt do anything, security told me the parking lot is very active, not only do they steal cars and rims but they also dump a lot of stolen cars in the parking lot, they even dumped a stolen car with a dead body in it a couple years ago, it was on the news, was just there last week and sure enough, I saw a mini van on bricks. read more

EB Skincare at Montebello Town Center, Ben & Kim are a fraud! If I could give 0 stars I would. They pull you in to the store and push their products on you. I was foolish to purchase a face massager machine (very, very expensive). They schedule facial appointments as well with a purchase and pretended they will do the facials. When I go for my appt the whole store was gone, CLOSED! No response via text from Ben either. I reported the store and made a fraud claim. Benjamin & Kimberly are fake and will steal your money! End of story be careful when you make huge purchases cuz you just never know. Thankfully I was able to get a refund from my credit card company. Please be aware. read more

Isn't the greatest mall as far as selection goes but they do have plenty of places to shop for multiple generations. The mall is super clean and has plenty of food options. The only drawback in their parking lot is really small considering how busy it is. read more

This Friday we encountered the rudest lady I've ever met in the video below. She ripped the toy out of My Son's hand and he barely touched it. She's like I don't sue her. She's so disrespectful and rude. My Son wanted to buy toy with the money he made and she disrespectfully up to my son, took it out of his hands while she was on the phone, and it took all of me as a parent not to make a scene. I feel like she looked down on us because we are Hispanic. We are not her race and she was very judgmental. I exchanged some words with her for disrespecting my child. She made him cry, but just to let everybody know I was trying to be kind to support her small business because she's not. in a store so you gotta be struggling to be renting a little island in the middle of the mall but the middle eastern woman was very rude to my nine year old son and I will never be shopping there again and I hope nobody supports the small business because her toys are cheap and they're from downtown and I found the same thing for five dollars off of Maple 11th. This lady won $40, and I would've gladly paid it if she wouldn't have been so rude, snatching toys out of his hand. read more

This place is one of the most beautiful malls that I have visited. It's really modern! full of stores, full of customers and most importantly, full of life! It's got stores that I have never seen before in my life. There's definitely so much going on here. Clean restrooms, tons of parking, friendly atmosphere. This mall has been renamed so many times in the past decade. Came for the kiddos annual Santa picture. The prices went up from last year. It was $26.99 for the lowest package before. This year they cut the last 2 packages and only had 3 options which started at $32.99. It is still cheaper then Santa Anita Mall though. Small mall but it basically has everything you need without filler. Food court is decent. There is also an Olive Garden and Lucielle's around the mall. Parking is usually open even when busy. read more

This mall is so much better than a decade ago. They made it look nicer and newer. I continue to come to browse once in a while, and to eat at the places available. I enjoy the little kiosks in the middle of the mall and I like it when those vendors leave me alone. read more

I have been coming to the Montebello Town Center for years for shopping or hanging with friends. Years ago It popular in the 80's and it slow down due to compition and 2000 store going out business. I've known of this mall for a long time now, but I finally went today for a change of scenery and the fact that it's not as far west in L.A. from me even though I knew that it was just an average, nothing special mall and I was right. The moderate highlights for me that most/none of the other malls don't have are: - Hikari Japanese Restaurant - Looked nice, but I didn't eat there - The HQ Army-Navy Store - f.y.e store - As Seen on TV store The food court is nice. I like the arrangement, but it has the usual eating places that every other mall has. I don't have to return here. It's got all of the usual stores that every other average mall has. I still have to get on 3 freeways to get here. read more

I've never been in this place, but it was a very nice mall. It's well kept up and a lot of nice stores to shop at. There is several areas that have construction going on to bring several newer stores to the mall. They appear to have place some modern art designs suspended from the ceiling and a few other decorations. They do have ample parking and the entrance through the JC Penny side was a very easy access point. There is more then ample parking. read more

I went last Saturday to do Santa Pictures. I usually always go to Brea mall but their appts for Saturday morning were all booked. Kathaleen Silva was the photographer. I took my three grandkids and they absolutely took the best photo and they got all three to look and smile at the camera at the same time I was thoroughly impressed. Santa was super nice and talked to my grandson for a long time, he did not want to leave and mind you at first he was scared ( he is 3) to take santa pictures the next thing I knew he was sitting and talking away to santa ... If this same company is here next year I will definitely be back! thank you so much for the wonderful experience! I don't know if there is a specific place to review just the santa picture program or not. read more

Nice clean mall. It has the usual mall anchors and the typical fast fashion stores. Wish I could have spent more time here.

Not my favorite mall to shop at but I do enjoy coming here. They have some good stores where I like to shop like papaya, jcpenny, Victoria secret, and old navy. The mall is small compared to other malls so it can tend to get crowded specially the parking lot. They also have restaurants here like BJs and Olive Garden so a lot of the cars in the parking lot are of people just coming here to eat. Although the lot is big sometimes you have to circle around a few times before you find a parking space. I have never had a bad experience with this mall. read more

The security team and front desk here is a joke. I'm not sure how they keep their jobs. They are on some kind of a power trip. They are completely rude and then don't explain themselves. I realize these are not the highest paying positions but everyone chooses their jobs and then they are to do those duties in exchange for money. That's the way a Job works. Do better. read more

Dangerous mall lacks good security. The last two times I was there had very dangerous encounters. One occasion as I was packing up my kids stroller I witness two guys in skateboard who snatched a bag and they were fleeing in the skateboards being chased by mall security. Yesterday was walking with my little sister when a woman suddenly approached me and very aggressively asked me who the little girl was. I declined to give any information and verbally assaulted me. This was racial harassment, I Called mall security and they never responded , I witness a mall security walk right by me in second level. I called a second time and when they did respond around 20 minutes later they didn't care much. So families beware of this unsafe mall. read more

My family's favorite mall. Plenty of parking and a large selection of stores to walk around and explore. The food court has plentiful options to choose from. Downside is you have to secure a seat fast in the dining area. The family restroom is a nice feature the mall has because there are toddler sized toilets for your child to use along with the adult sized toilet. Also a changing station if you need to change your little one. Overall a nice mall. read more

It's small compared to other malls like Arcadia. West Covina and Brea, but it has vastly improved from how it used to be, like maybe 10-15 years ago. It feels safe now, is super clean, has a good variety of shops and the main anchor stores, Macys and JCPenney, have a super selection of items (better than the larger malls, even). And everyone was following masking even now (end of 2022). I feel like it's a gem in the busy LA area and so much better than it used to be. But where is Starbucks? I only found one tiny one inside Macys...? Hard to find a cup of coffee. read more

Had to walk dam near 2 miles if not more just to get to my car bc the elevators that led me to the exit that was close to my car were out of service and the stores with elevators were closed as well. It was such an inconvenience considering i had a stroller and a child with me, it was dark and anything could've happened during that long walk through the almost empty parking lot. Thankfully there were ppl just getting out of work and people eating at restaurants but it was still scary. If something would've happened there would've been a HUGE lawsuit!!! The only reason I stayed late was because I had exited through the wrong exit and couldn't find my car so I entered the mall again and walked in circles till I realized the elevators were not an option and neither the escalators since they were off. The mall needs to be considerate over people with disabilities and ppl with strollers!! read more

Overall like coming to this mall. Attended dia de los muertos event and everything was nice and fun until we went to get pan de muertos. Those ladies were RUDE period. A family was walking by and just past by the table and they gave them bread and my daughter and I got in line and they started saying I had to get online and check into Yelp and I told them that the family before me didn't have to do anything to receive a sample. I just felt discriminated. The older lady just gave me attitude and turned and looked at the other lady and just laughed. That is not good customer service. What goes around come around. read more

I hate the fact that the upstairs still have carpet because it's hard to navigate around in a wheelchair and it's frustrating to not being able to easily find where any elevators are located. I would really like it if all the restaurants were all located in the food court and not scattered around the mall. There aren't great quality stores here and it's hard to find parking. read more

Come here cause it's not crowded and has all the shops I love. Love that it's conveniently close. My son loves to come here to catch Pokémon and get balls. It's small but can get all the things I need in an hour. I wish they update their playground and put more Asian food and snack stand. read more
