Except they actually don't have the extra long in stock, she was going to just apply the Long tip halfway down my nail bed. I declined and asked for the extra long tips I'm paying for. She then took out "xtra xtra long" and said $85 for these. So completely skipped over extra long and still charged me. Whatever , I agreed because benefit of the doubt. Once the foundation is laid, they ask me what designs I want. I showed them several pictures as inspiration and described what I would like, open to all suggestions and directions. They quoted me an additional $75 on top of the $85, and although I was completely shocked , I figured I was just out of my budget and needed to pick another design. Everything I suggested was $60+ on top of $85. Finally I asked ok what about French tip?! They said $25 extra. Okay, very expensive but I hope they look good. Keep in mind the entire time, only 1 person in the whole salon spoke English and whenever I would ask a question, my tech would yell for the English speaker very annoyed as if I was a problematic customer. I also got a full set gel x pedicure, and needed one nail repaired as it's growing back from falling off. When my tech was removing dead skin from the sides of my nail bed, she snipped my skin and cut me. In total for full set xtra long French tip and French tip gel x pedicure, I paid $190 not including tip. 3 days later, my repaired toe nail came off. Okay, maybe it was just too small of a nail. BUT THEN ON THE 4TH DAY, MY FINGERNAIL BREAKS IN HALF. $190 for basic nails, that break not even a full business week later. So disappointed, will never come back.

My nail tech showed me the book of options and I loved one of the blue cat eye nails. When the paint went on my fingers it appeared to be just sparkly blue. The nail tech saw my disappointment and asked if I liked it and I expressed that it was not cat eye but more of a sparkly paint. I don't really like sparkly paint so I hated it. She asked if I wanted to change it and when I asked if it would be too difficult, she said yes because she already added a second layer. When I discussed it more she said that they don't have the right paint that matched the book of cat eye nails she showed me and I was thinking, then why didn't you tell me beforehand that you couldn't do the cat eye. So I felt stuck with it and left unhappy. I am also bothered with how thick the nail is. It's like a shell on top.

Writing this review for a friend without Yelp. She had the misfortune of visiting this so-called "nail salon" for a much-needed self-care session, but it turned into a terrible experience. This place does not deserve even a single star. Firstly, they had absolutely no respect for her time. She made a reservation in advance, but when she arrived, the salon completely disregarded it and made her wait for an additional 15 minutes. It's clear that they have no regard for their customers' schedules or commitments. Her experience with the nail technician was a painful one, both physically and emotionally. The tech handled her nails in a hasty and careless manner, resulting in her slicing open the side of her cuticle and drawing blood. It is utterly unacceptable that such negligence is allowed in a professional setting, with the nail tech commenting that her cuticles were dry and therefore it was excuseable for her to have cut her open. The lack of skill and expertise was further evident when my friend requested a simple glitter ombre design. Shockingly, the salon claimed they couldn't do it. If you can't handle basic nail art, why do you even operate as a nail salon? To add insult to injury, they still had the audacity to charge her more than what a regular gel manicure would cost, not including the 18% tip that was added. My friend had hoped that at least her nails would look decent after all of the issues with her appointment, but that was a pipe dream. The final result was uneven, with color that were barely distinguishable from her original nails. It was like they didn't even try to put any effort into making them look presentable. Aside from the horrible service and lack of skill, the staff's attitudes were absolutely appalling. They were rude, disinterested, and displayed zero professionalism. It felt like they couldn't care less about their customers, as if they were doing my friend a favor by allowing her to pay for their subpar services. To top it all off, the ambiance of the salon was nothing short of unwelcoming. The place lacked any sense of intentionality about their services or customer experience. It was as if they were just going through the motions, and it showed in every aspect of their business. In conclusion, this nail salon is a disaster in every possible way. From disrespecting reservations to causing injuries, failing to deliver on basic nail art, and displaying rude attitudes, they have proven to be a complete and utter disappointment. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this dreadful place. I strongly advise you to find a reputable and professional nail salon where your time, money, and well-being will be respected. read more

I had a truly disappointing experience with Mesa Nail salon and would not recommend their services to anyone. I made an appointment for a much-needed manicure and pedicure but when I arrived at the salon, they tell me that they can not do it, and I need to reschedule Customer service is vital in any business, and this nail salon clearly lacks it. I expected professionalism and a certain level of competence when dealing with appointments. Unfortunately, my experience with them was anything but professional. As a customer, I value my time and expect businesses to respect it as well. Exceptional Pedicure with Anne! I had such a wonderful pedicure experience with Anne! She was gentle, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Her attention to detail was impressive -- from shaping my nails perfectly to giving the most relaxing foot massage. My feet feel incredibly soft and refreshed, and the polish is absolutely flawless. They were even surprised she didn't give any type of courtesy discount considering how late she was. $3 off my callus removal is not sufficient lol. They have a 15 minute grace period for late clients, they should really have something in place for when their techs are 40+ mins late. I honestly wouldn't come back. Way way overpriced.
