Sooooo Patty does the best nails in the world. She does not use a fake nail she uses the forms which I LOVE because your nails come out looking as natural as possible. I got my nails pretty long and everyone is asking if they are mine so it's pretty awesome. Perfection does take time for a new full set and a gel pedicure I was there for 3 hours HOWEVER I found that I got along so well with Patty that most of our time consisted of conversation! Love this nail bar . Their jelly pedi is a must try. They are so accommodating and love all the selection of colors and glitters they offer. She gave me an estimate on the design I was hoping to get before my appointment started. The owner was not my nail tech but she was next to me and kept conversation about my sister's wedding and made the environment very friendly and welcoming. They have a HUGE variety of colors to choose from for gel colors and regular too! I ended up going with a gel mani and 2 colors (1 accent nail) I paid $34 and gave my nail lady a tip. Last week I went in and did a sailor moon inspired look, (I brought my own gems as well as matching some of the ones they have available). Not the worst fill I've ever had but pretty close and they are quite expensive in my opinion...$46 for a FILL??? $28 for the actual fill (that's a fair price) but then they upcharge $12 for the gel polish (seriously?!) and then I was charged an additional $6 for shaping about 1/8" off the length (again... seriously?!) My nails are shaped well when looking from above but they are VERY lumpy when viewed from the side. Also, about 5 hours after my appointment one of my nails chipped off in two places - could not bring myself to go back. Love this place! Came in to get a Mani Pedi with gel nail and Isabel Torres was so sweet and chatted with me while doing my nails. I got complimentary mimosas and that was the cherry on top! I really liked that the place wasn't packed. It's by appointment only so it felt very personal and they really take their time perfecting your nails. I have been to 3 different ladies here and ALL 3 (Patty, Christina, and Amber) have done SUCH a great job - simple and natural as well as decked out and acrylic. It's super classy and clean. Every detail was thought of in the decorating of this awesomeness; yes, even the restroom - LACE WALLPAPER. And the massage chairs...melt. your. muscles. It's always classy and professional. I've never had a problem finding close parking. It's also in a cute area in Old Town Covina surrounded by lots of good food, drink, and little shops. She was great and super nice! Did a great job painting and shaping my nails (gel mani/reg pedi) but so far, both nail salons I've gone to have not been great at cuticles. I also loved that they offer you a drink as you get serviced. The downside, my nails barely lasted a week and the polish started to crack and chip. I use my hands frequently and I can be rough sometimes but back home it was rare for my nails to chip, let alone not make it to 2 weeks for me to go back in. This place is amazing! Today was my second visit there and I absolutely love it. Betty and Kelly have done a great job at making me feel pampered. They are both amazing at what they do. Today I had the chance to meet Patty, the owner, and she is also amazing. A couple of minutes after I left the nail bar I noticed the polish on my big toe (both feet) appeared to have a white residue on it. I called the nail bar and explained to them what had happened. I was asked to come back in and they would fix it. Luckily, I was down the street. I was greeted by Party who did not hesitated to redo the polish on my toes. Not only did she correct the polish but she went the extra step to add some bling to my toes. Thank you Betty, Kelly and Patty for such a great experience. I figured out that if I go on a Sunday it only takes me 30 minutes to get there and it is well worth the drive...I feel like I can literally find ANYTHING on the internet for nails, take it to VNB, and it will come out the same or better. OMG I absolutely love this place. They were able to make my nails beautiful and replied ASAP. I had Irene do my nails and Isabel do my pedicure. I absolutely love the work they do. I've been looking for a new nail salon and I think I found my home shop. I have never had nail techs that were sooooo accommodating and I enjoyed speaking to them. I booked two appts after today just to make sure I had them booked. I would definitely suggest and recommend coming here. The staff is fantastic and they made the whole experience a breeze.
