Our home in Morning Sun Farms was built in 2015. Our water heather spring a leak. It was all over the floor and ruined the Sheetrock. It has a catch basin that's plumbed to run out onto the side of the house if it leaks to avoid this damage. However, upon removing the water heater it had a bad crack and was damaged when this plumbing company installed the water heater. I called them and asked if they could come out but they gave me a four day window. Seems they don't like warranty work. Even though this water heater was under warranty it cost us $1100 total after all was said and done. $600 to have someone else do install the new one and $500 for the repair. If your thinking of using them I would look for someone else. They were morally and ethically required to help seeing they cracked the leak basin. And I see by the reviews they had many more Un-happy customers. Not surprised. read more

To all who come here to read reviews before calling... I, like a lot of you, have plumbing issues sometime in their lives, and not knowing anyone personally, I started looking through different companies within Mesa. 1st - Soft Water System - the one we purchased through HD and paid their 3rd party contractors, it didn't take long before salt tank became plugged and it was a mess. I started another search, hoping that there was still companies that gave a DA* about quality and customer care. We purchased a different one from them and had them install it. First install didn't go to my satisfaction and the 2nd day we discovered water on garage floor, so I called them up and asked for quick service. Well, Dave & Milo came out instead of original plumber, saw my concerns and re-plumbed the water lines, attached to wall properly and apologized for the inconvenience. Got us all fixed up in no time & 100% satisfied! 2nd - 1 week ago, woke up to water on garage floor and of course, I assumed it to be the soft water system and made a service call. Milo came out, started his troubleshooting, and discovered it wasn't their system at all, but my 2 1/2 year old hot water tank. The bottom seal blew, leaking all over. He turned the water & power off and told us what we should do. I did call manufacturer of hot water tank, who honored their warranty (thru HD again) and I returned the bad tank and got 50% back on original purchase price. When I asked for a new tank (same kind) and had to call their 3rd party installers for a install quote, it was going to be $1000. NOTE: Its at this point I said I no longer wanted to go through 3 different companies for 1 tank. I drove home and called Mesa Plumbing again. I told them my problem and I stated I wanted to just go through them - 1 product and 1 company to deal with. NOT only did they help my buy an upscaled tank (better warranty and less problems over time) and installed it (thanks again Milo), all with a very professional attitude and treated us with the most respect. After installing it, connecting and all, AND after 4 days of no hot water, all within 2 hours we were able to shower again and wash the weeks clothing. I have been here since 1994, and have been involved with many so called AZ businesses - some you run away from and others, you KEEP for a lifetime. MEAS Plumbing is the one you keep! They did a great job clearing roots from my sewer line and followed up with repair of the offending line. They cut the driveway, replaced the damaged section and added salt around the repair to dissuade the roots from coming around that area in the future. They finished up with a good patching of the concrete drive and cleaning up their work area! All for about 30% less than my other quote that did not include the concrete repair. Was calling around for estimates and they were the second company I called. The girl I talked to was helpful and got my info for someone to come out on a later date and give a free quote and that he'd call at least 30 minutes before coming over. So I got the call from the plumber and told him what was happening. I basically have a basement that has a pump that pumps out the shower water and sewer from the toilet up and out to the sewer. The lid on the container had rusted with holes and we were getting sewer smells out of it. So basically needed the lid replaced. The (Plumber) told me he wouldn't touch it for less than $600. I said that's fine that it needs to get done. Then he asks how old the house is and I tell him it was built in the 50's and now all of a sudden he's saying he's going to need to do this and that and probably replace the pump and told me the price now is $3500!! I mentioned to him the sewer pumps are like $100 at Harbor Freight and how he came up with that number on the phone without even looking at the problem. He went on to say he doesn't use cheap Harbor Freight stuff and bla bla bla is now what I'm hearing. As a business owner myself I find it extremely unprofessional and think maybe I should have been a plumber since they feel like they it doesn't matter how they talk to or treat customers. On a positive note my wife's cousin came over and replaced and sealed it with a new lid which fixed the problem and didn't have to do all the stuff the (Plumber) was saying he was going to have to do and only charged us $300. read more

Because when I run into a job that I can't handle, I call these guys! I'm also really proud of the way my jobs look when I'm done. Or I was anyways. Till I compared it with the job done by these experts. (I don't know if I should say this in the review, but I don't want to use the plumbing now. It looks like art and you don't use art). Anyway, to continue I wanted to make mention of the knowledge and experience I saw put into action during a recent visit from Ivan. This guy understands modern Quality plumbing. When I saw the valves and other pieces he had brought with him to handle the job I commissioned, I saw they were the same quality build as what I choose when I do my own jobs. (for those who know, they're not the thin cheap local hardware store variety). But he also carries with him the secrets of the old school plumbers and puts them into use to make sure the job comes out perfectly. The only thing that outshines Ivan's skill and experience as a quality plumber is his personality. There's also a thoughtfulness behind the solutions they bring to your jobs. An example of this, in addition to the much larger job that we had commissioned, we also asked for a hose valve to be replaced. In addition to them providing a really high-quality valve, they also installed a twist on valve rather than one that is soldered. That means if this high-quality valve where ever to wear out, I could replace it without "sweating it"! (Yeah, pun intended.) To summarize, if a quality job done right the first time in a very pleasant manner is something you're interested in, then the choice is easy. read more

Not sure how reasonable the price was; I didn't shop around just to have a toilet snaked to unclog it, but I appreciated that unlike a big name place I called, Ryan gave me a quote right over the phone and his guy was at my house within 30 minutes, and even snaked it a couple extra times and stuck around to make sure there wasn't a bigger issue. Do NOT call Mesa Plumbing! My experience with them was the worst service call of my life! They showed up 2 hours 15 minutes late for an 8:00 AM fixed hour appointment. They first called at 9:45 AM and offered no apology or explanation (they slept in which is why they didn't call), and then finally showed up at 10:15. I told them it's too late to start because I had a business luncheon; they lied and said they'd be done in 90 minutes because they didn't want to lose the job. It took 2 hours 40 minutes; I missed my luncheon. They didn't re-seal the toilet when they re-set it; it was nicely grouted beforehand. They said they don't carry grout. It took 3 weeks to get them back to caulk it; caulk really isn't supposed to be used with a tile floor. They left my bathroom a dirty mess; I spent 20 minutes scrubbing the floor, toilet, bathtub and basin. I had to do their cleanup. Even worse, I was overcharged by $55, which a manager, Rusty, said would be refunded but never was. None of my voicemails or emails were ever answered, so I drove to their office; the office was trashed, a big mess and no one was there. The water line from the street to our house broke. The dreaded break that mailings say to buy insurance for. I got quotes and they were all similar. I chose Mesa Plumbing because they seemed local and a small company. A good choice from the office person to the plumbers. The repair was large and it occurred during a week of heavy rain which required delays not due to Mesa Plumbing. There was extra effort required because of the construction of a block fence that extended well into the ground between the street and the house. I was kept informed of the progress and the work being done. I am satisfied with the work and have recommended Mesa Plumbing to others. read more

The assigned plumber came out to assess the issue (water leak in a wall) then called the restoration guys to take out the vanity and wall. He said insurance would pay for the initial visit (to assess) and they did not. He did a good job, but we were disappointed in the cost of the valve replacements. He replaced four $5.00 valves and charged us $85.00 each!! Really? That's $80.00 labor for each valve! And he even said it was a discount, ha! There was no soldering needed, just thread tape, so we thought this was an excessive amount to charge for this simple job. Other than that, the plumber did fix the issue and seemed to be knowledgeable and experienced. We were just not happy with the ridiculous charges. The initial man who showed up to assess the slow draining tub reeked of hangover / alcohol. He spoke badly of the person who fixed my drain last time, who works for the same company! He stated he would need to look into the pipes with a camera and see if a blast spray would break the pipes or if he just needed to snake. He also stated he would chemically treat the sinks and tub to remove buildup of soap scum. The next day, two guys showed up with a snake, 40 minutes late without a message or call, and spent an hour snaking the tub. They asked me for a towel as they did not bring any rags to clean up rust from the snake. They only brought a snake in with them. Nothing else was brought into my house. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for a chemical treatment on only the tub, with no chemical container to produce. I was charged 100% more than the last time they came out to resolve the same problem (he stated cost was service call and an hour's labor). When I asked if it was fixed, he stated "Whatever it was I think we pushed it through." My tub drains, then stops, then drains, then stops. I'm not satisfied and I will never use this company again. read more

I am very disappointed in this company. We had two issues with the plumbing in our house so we had Mesa plumbing company come to correct the issues. We had just gotten home from having a baby four days prior to them coming to fix our issues. Did they fix our issues? Yes, however I would never have anyone call them or recommend them to anybody unless you were willing to get dirty and work yourself too. There was mud tracked in the laundry room all over the floor. I mean everywhere. No effort was made and there certainly was absolutely no pride of workmanship from the plumber that was at our house. I tried calling them but it was after hours so I left a message. Over one week later I still haven't gotten a return phone call which is why I am prompted to leave this review. I did not call them to get anything out of it necessarily, more to notify the owner or whoever is in charge of the establishment of the practices by the specific plumber that was at my house so that he can correct them so that he he has people out there that is building up their name positively instead of making someone shake their head at yet another piss poor quality of workmanship from a plumber. I find it highly unacceptable that after leaving a voicemail and mentioning my concern or problem that I had and requesting a phone call back, that I never got one. Maybe that is just a representation of whoever runs the business as well. To be honest, after my experience with the plumber I don't know why I expected anything out of a phone call or getting a return call back. This is the best part, I friend of mine's dad, who owns the house, was in charge of paying the bill. When the plumber left, he told my wife to make sure that if the owner of the house calls us, we tell him that he did a lot of work because it's going to be a very big bill. Regardless of the price and the fact that a very big bill seems unreasonable for the fact that he was there for a whopping 40 minutes, it is still highly unprofessional to discuss things or mention things like that to clients or residents. Our neighbor used this company to install gas to their new stove top and raved about how great the guy was. When our basement flooded, I got their name and number and gave them a call. The plumber they sent was Houston Jensen. He showed up right away, opened up the sump and showed me how it worked and then suggested a new pump. He gave me a price for the pump plus labor. He even told me the make of the pump and said he would buy it from his supplier or let me buy it online if I wanted to search for a lower price. He only charged us $135 to install it even though it took him a couple of hours plus the two trips (1 trip to check out the job and another to do the work). If you need a plumber, Houston's your guy.
