I liked this restaurant. Spacious and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We got the Pick 2 where you add the 2 items together for a meal and then you choose between packaged chips, bread or apples. The Pick 2 item choices are half sandwich, salad and cup of soup. Steak sandwich was decent. Italian sandwich was spicy. Broccoli cheddar soup was excellent. Bacon mac and cheese was good. We got large size on the soup and macaroni and cheese. Their bread is good, crunchy outside and chewy inside. Portions are not tiny but meal was on the pricey side. They also sell a variety of pastries. The cinnamon roll was ok. If eating in, your food is served on plastic plates and bowls. Next time we'll try the Mix and Match where you also pick 2 from a more limited menu of items for $5.99 + $5.99. And it also comes chips, bread or apples. The restaurant needs more tidying up though. Tables were not cleaned (spilled drinks) and the bathroom was disheveled. It was a nice and hot day to sit outdoors but the umbrellas were closed. 3.5 stars read more

Because I had four orders for my family, each order is served on individual plastic plates. I asked if they had trays- none. I asked the lady behind the window if I can get some service bringing all four plates to my table- "no you carry it." Another colleague of hers came over and I asked if she could help, thinking that shh could help, the lady in the kitchen told her something I couldn't understand and so the lady in the dining room walked away after getting a napkin. Bottom line, I end up making two trips, both hands full, back to my table. To my conclusion, this location is meant to be a self service/take out only. Ambiance- it's fine. Maybe because we came here around dinner that we don't notice what others mentioned. I came in today to quickly get some work done before making the long drive back to Seattle. I usually come to Panera whenever I need wifi while I'm away from home, and it's still a great spot for work. However, my experience here was quite below-average this time around. I ordered the "Green Goddess Avo Toast" which comes with all these ingredients like extra vegetables. But when I came to the counter to pick it up, it was missing almost everything and was basically just a regular avocado toast. I told the staff standing in the kitchen who I presumed was the shift-lead or manager, and told her the order was wrong and was missing items. Instead of her asking what happened, she goes "did you want an egg or something?". No, I told her it was supposed to be the Green Goddess Avo Toast. Then she goes "so you want arugula then?". Uhh, yes? I want all the items that the original order was supposed to have... So she takes the plate back and I wait. I actually went back to the order-screen to double check what items came with it. Then I go back and get the supposed Green Goddess Avo Toast again at the counter, but guess what? The tomatoes were still missing from the order. I told the staff worker, but she started to seem annoyed at me for asking about it. People who take your order are polite and on it when placing an order. Service at pickup is a hit or miss sometimes. I've gotten in the habit of checking my order. Sometimes, items are missed or forgotten. Silverware, napkins, cream cheese, etc. At times, they are not in the bag as well. It's not really a grab and go. I only recently began ordering from Panera Bread. In the past month I have placed four orders. The food is fresh and nutritious. Since my orders are on-line, I can't rate the ambiance. The majority of orders I place are for my 77-year old wheelchair bound uncle. He absolutely loves the sandwiches. We both like the fact that they offer them in 1/2 sizes which are perfect for him. Much easier to handle with little to no waste. All the sandwiches are his favorites. I have also tried the drinks and they are fresh and delicious. When my uncle who lives in Hayward wanted sandwiches from Panera Bread, I looked up the nearest location to him, placed my order on-line and within an hour my Uncle had five Panera Bread 1/2 sandwiches delivered.
