Eh sure, if I were hungry and in the area I'd stop in again for a gyro: It was tasty, filling and service was terrific. There's much to like about Nick the Greek. Having waitressed in college in two authentically fast-casual Greek restaurants owned by three men who emigrated from Greece, this restaurant is to Greek food as Panda Express is to Cantonese. Is it good, absolutely! Is it authentic? Not so much. Does it matter? Not really, it's still tasty. It would help if they used some oregano in the meat and something more than paprika in the tzatziki. Oregano, garlic, salt, pepper would go far. They allowed me to sample the Avgolemono (lemon chicken soup) and it was not so great. It was unseasoned and not nearly sour enough. The pork belly gyro was tasty but lacking seasoning. The pita was softer than regular pita yet better with its rich chewiness. Good service, clean and organized, good if not quite authentic food, I give Nick the Greek 7/10. . read more

Came by to get a lamb/beef gyro wrap, a lamb/beef bowl, and a kids meal with lamb/beef protein - apparently our household really likes the red meats haha. We put in our order for takeaway - we were the only ones in the restaurant at lunchtime on a Sunday so we just sat down at a table and waited for our food. It came out about 5-10 minutes later. GREAT PLACE FOR CATERING: Guys, I needed an emergency order for about 15-20 teenagers who were coming over on Halloween. I placed an order for catering for 14 people at 1 PM, and even though the website said I needed to give them 12 hours, I called the Gellert store, who routed me to a manager at the main office, who spoke to me personally and to his staff. This group of like 4 people working at the Gellert location got this huge order together for me in like 2 hours. Greek food works great for groups. There's plenty the vegetarians can eat, and plenty for the meat eaters as well. The salads were huge, and everyone raved about the food. And FYI, that order for 14 could have fed 40. it was an amazing bargain, and I got about a hundred compliments on the food! read more

It took a very long time to get the bowls as they are doing large pick up orders at the same time. Almost 20 minutes for the food. The bowl was bland. The so called spicy sauce had no spice and just tasted like paprika with mayo. The bowl lacked acidity - needs a squeeze of lemon or lime. Also needs herbs like cilantro. And more flavor - I would have added some hummus or chickpeas to it. The table was dirty as you have to bus your plates. It was windy inside and they keep the door open for the never ending food delivery drivers. read more

First time customer here! Clean restaurant, not too busy. Prices are ok, food is incredible! Since I had never tried it, I got the beef tecki I think it's called and rice kids meal with some flat bread super delicious and filling. There was sooo much lettuce and only 2 little pieces of cucumber in the salad (salad also has tomatoes & onions). I should've taken the lettuce out and added more of the yellow rice instead. The food is really good at this location, the folks who work at the counter are truly wonderful, and when you put a note on your order on the app, they actually do pay attention to it. I'm sorry to say that this doesn't always apply at all Nick's locations -- so, kudos to the team at Gellert. My go-to is the Gyro Bowl -- it is so original and unique! I get it with no onions + extra cucumbers and sometimes all salad, no rice. SO good. I also like my gyro pieces to be well done and they take care of me. And they have other great proteins to choose from including pork belly. Thanks, guys, great job! read more
