Solid spot! I get the Chicken Gyro bowl with no onions. The yogurt is fresh and seasoned well, there is plenty of chicken in the bowl and they give extra cucumbers if you ask. The fries are also amazing, so crisp! The inside is big with plenty of seats, and even a few outside tables. This is my lunch spot for sure! Just beware of the parking, the parking lot can be chaotic. read more

Food is great, Service is fantastic and quick. Staff is super nice. Long story but i left my purse in the restaurant and the staff found it and sent it home to me which was incredibly kind. I've been hesitant to try this chain since we have so many amazing local Mediterranean places in the city. However, I gave it a try for quick and casual lunch and it honestly impressed me! I got the steak Mediterranean bowl, which I was heavily skeptical of at first, but it was large chunks of juicy and flavorful steak souvlaki. It was also a very generous bowl with lots of substance and toppings. I can definitely see this place becoming a lunch staple! read more

I was craving Nick the Greek for the longest time. Luckily, I was staying over at a friend's apartment nearby and it was a 5 minute walk to get to Westlake Plaza. I got the Gyro Bowl with Pork Belly which was very good. A generous portion of pork belly complimented the rice, vegetables, and sauces. I also used the app to redeem a free dessert. I've never had the Froyo so I opted to try it. It was also very good. I wasn't expecting it to be a more yogurt like flavor but the chocolate paired with it very well. Probably the crappiest "greek" fries I've ever had - they were stale, not hot and fresh, and tasted like they had been fried and sat out for a few hours. They also lacked the signature garlic that makes greek fries what they are... just some cold cheese was all I could taste. We actually ordered Nicks Fries which are supposedly even more loaded and it was so disappointing bc it was so mediocre. With a falafel protein top, it was like one piece of falafel broken to bits and deeply refried. The salad I wanted did not come with protein - which was dumb - so you pay ~$13 for the salad then an extra $5 just to get protein to add to the already skimpy salad (its mostly just leaves), to make it a half filling meal. Mine was supposed to be a mix of kale and romaine, and mine barely had a touch of kale. Very light on dressing as well. Would not get again, waste of money. My friend got a bowl and hers was mostly filled w/ rice so again they just fill w/ carbs to keep it cheap. Nothing was impressive. don't recommend. read more

Mom was craving a burger when we decided to check out Nick the Greek. Mom ordered the burger, while I ordered the Beefteki and kiddo ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro bowl. We added on the combo of fries and a drink to our meals as well. When our food was ready, they brought it to our table which was nice. Mom didn't care for the feta and had to take out some lettuce so she could bite into it, but noted she thought it was a good burger. As for the beefteki, the pita was soft and the tzatziki added to the flavor profile. The fries were crispy. Kiddo is a big eater and he found the gyro bowl to be quite filling. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and the prices were reasonable. I'd like to try their chocolate dipped frozen yogurt next time. read more

The meat is often seasoned with a blend of spices like cumin, cardamom, and turmeric, and slow-cooked in a sealed pot or an underground oven (tannour) to keep it moist. This tender, fall-off-the-bone meat, which is cooked for several hours, is a festive dish reserved for special occasions and feasts. The lamb was definitely tender but was kinda bland and lacked flavor. Same with the basmati rice -- it almost tasted a little old. Service was fine. I waited about 15 minutes for my takeout. There is a tiny counter along the side if you want to eat in. I also got a spanakopita (spinach) and tiropita (feta), each for $3. With so many Mediterranean places around, this market just doesn't stand up to the competition.

Many good-sized pieces of juicy pork make up each skewer. Generous portions. I enjoy the Filipino BBQ pork flavor as the sauce on it has a sweet taste to it. The potstickers were also way better than expected. Usually a throwaway order at most places, but here they were juicy and packed with flavor. The beef pancakes were fantastic. Golden and crispy on the outside, juicy flavor bomb on thes inside. Both crunchy and a little chewy (in the good way). Came back a few weeks later with friends and ordered the whole grilled fish, which I'd been eyeing since my first visit. It looked magnificent, but it didn't really pop the way the other dishes did. If you love fish it's worth trying, but the dry pot, skewers, beef pancakes, and dumplings are the stars here. We also got a few veggie dishes which were all great accompaniments...but nobody is here for the veggies. A few practical notes. They have a beer tap but it doesn't work, so if you're into beer, they've got a few options by the bottle. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong items (maybe we should have tried their signature dry pots?) but after this experience, I'm not keen to give this place a second chance.

I tried this place one the first on their grand opening! I was really good! i then decided to take my family to this place! The girls at the place are much nicer and have great customer service! The men here do not! I wanted to order so I called this curly hair guy but he ignored me ! he was way to busy talking to girls and flirting with them to even see that their are customers waiting to order. After my order. I found a hair in my beef dish. i them asked the lady if she can exchange it for a new on and she told me to wait because she getting the "owner" .once the owner came he told me that he see no hair in my food. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE WHITE HAIR SITTING ON TOP OF MY FOOD! He then had the audacity to say "You type of people only want free food"!!! WHAT!!!!!! Awesome new greek spot tgat just opened today. Since I am half greek/ german and work around the corner wanted to give it a try. Im picky with greek food since I had it so many times in greece so did not have huge expectations. First impression: friendly owner...once inside order went quick. A line behind me formed quickly...kitchen was super busy. I waited inside until george ( maybe manager) approched me to check on my number. Super awesome customer service and a 10 in my book for george for checking. A few min later i got my food. Now the most important part: it is delicious, super tasty!!! Got the souflaki and the are probably the closest to greek souflaki i have had outside of greece. Gyro wrap with fries is amazing. Gonna try the beef teki next time. We're so glad this place just opened last week in DC at Westlake and close to SF. We've eaten at other Nick the Greek's in south and east bay. So now we can frequent this great place closer to home. I like that it's casual dining - just order, sit down (or take it to go) and eat. They also have outdoor seating. We ordered lamb & beef gyros wrap (they put fries inside!) and pork belly wrap plus side of felafel. The pork belly was meaty and wasn't too fatty. All were delicious! They're generous with the meats so that's a plus. Prices were reasonable - wraps were under $10 each! We plan to try their plates next time! read more

I've only been there twice, but the service has always been excellent. They are kind and patient. The food is fine; I've had certain dishes that I enjoyed and others that were adequate but not exceptional. However, this could simply be a matter of personal preference and taste. It's always been spotless, and it's never been overcrowded. This results in a quieter, more peaceful environment, which is pleasant. I'd recommend it if you want to try something new! read more

Doing an update for this location since it's been 5+ years since my last visit / review. One thing…read morethat hasn't changed, was the smoke and overwhelmingly mouthwatering smell of fresh grilled burgers permeating throughout the entire corner of the shopping center. While most other things are the same, there are some differences. As many places have, they've geared more towards the self-service kiosk approach to ordering. As soon as you enter, there are two kiosks to the left, then one more to the right on the counter instead of one of the registers. They still have a place where you can order from a human being if you prefer that (or like me, have customizations that can't be accommodated via the kiosk)...lol. All jokes aside, I ended up having to order through a person. It's not my fault though, they're promoting this delicious looking new toasted Parmesan-crusted sourdough, but only on a Chicken Club sandwich. Being that we hadn't been to Habit in a while, we were craving a burger specifically. After having to bring a manager over to approve the request and figure out how to enter it into the system, we were able to get the special new bread on our Double Char and Santa Barbara Char for an additional charge of ~$1 each (WORTH IT!). The other new items that came (I assume) around the same time as the Parmesan bread, are Garlic Parmesan Fries, and a Garlic Parmesan Ranch. Both the fries and the ranch were surprisingly good. The fries were a little oily/greasy, but the flavor on them was very rich. The Parm ranch was bold and flavorful, and honestly paired well with everything. By everything, I mean the fries, onion rings, tempura green beans, sweet potato fries, and most especially poured on my Santa Barbara Char. It also paired perfectly with the new bread, and made each bite one of the best I've had in recent history. Another big difference is that they now charge for all sauces (aside from ketchup & hot sauce). Back when we were coming here more regularly, ranch was free. You would just ask them at the counter, and they'd give you one, or a few, at no charge. While they do have a solid sauce selection (BBQ, sweet mustard, teriyaki, ranch, spicy ranch, avocado ranch, and the new garlic parm ranch), they charge $0.60 each. They still have Pepsi products at the fountain, in addition to unsweetened regular and tropical iced tea, and both fresh strawberry and cucumber limeades. Two public, gender neutral bathrooms are in the back with no passcode. It was steadily busy on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. Most of the tables were full, but there was some turnover with people finishing and leaving and lots of to-go orders. Thank you again to the patient woman who took our order, dealing with all the changes and additions. The food was all very tasty, and we especially loved the new Garlic Parmesan items. We're already talking about making another trip to Habit to get it again...

Both menus are available to order from and there are plenty of tables inside and out for you to choose. Table side service is available. If you like indian pizzas, this is a must try. But if you're more a fan of the traditional italian pizzas, they also have that on the menu. We ordered the tandoori pie, which our waitress told us was one of their more popular items. We also got a cheesier garlic bread and some veggie samosas off the Noori menu. Everything was delicious, cooked to order, fresh and hot, cheesy but not greasy. We had our little ones with us, and they were also happily eating everything, which is a great sign. Looking forward to our next visit!

I got a half and half 333 cheese with chicken garlic gourmet. Their crust has a nice buttery taste to it, really good and really filling. We'll worth the price. Inside the restaurant is pretty simple, a couple TVs and a bar, I love how they also serve a selection of Indian food to which I've heard is pretty good. Parking is a little challenging, so I suggest looking for some on the side streets and then walking over. This place is a staple for sure!

Tried this unsuspecting sub shop that is close by to where I live. Walked in there and there were…read moreno people. Got greeted by the friendly guy who took my order and then another customer came. It took 11 mins to get my sub and I guess he was making both our sub. The shop was clean and tidy. Location doesn't have that much parking but there is an autozone nearby where you can park for a bit while waiting for your order. Now the sub. It was delicious and I can tell all the ingredients were fresh. The sub is huge and half of it filled me up already. I love how much Jalapenos was in there so a heads up for those who are not a big fan of jalapenos, request for less. I took home the other half of my sub and reheated it the next day. It still tasted pretty good!!! I was impressed. I ordered the chipotle for reference. Come visit this place for a great sub!
