I honestly can say this was maybe my 4 or 5th time eating here but this had to be my most disappointing well only disappointing time eating here as food was not fresh and hot fries cold mash potatoes were only thing still good chicken seemed as it had been sitting out or something highly disappointed especially when you expecting greater and jus gt off work from driving but ill be back this was also my first time eating here at 2 in the evening i usually go at night so i guess i kno what to do lol

The food was really good. The wife had turkey and dressing and I had the shepherds pie and we shared an order of poutine. I wouldn't say the dishes were traditional but were still very good. The turkey had beef gravy and I "think" the meat in their shepherds pie was their meat loaf. The poutine cheese curds were fried instead of plain. We found nothing wrong with anything; It was just different than we have had in the past at other places. The service was great and our waitress Jess was amazing and very attentive. The inside has more of a family restaurant feel than a normal diner and we felt that was a plus.

We love this spot! The service is wonderful and sweet since it seems everyone is like family. We were sat right away on a busy Sunday Angelini in both which I think the place is mostly booths. I ordered a coffee it was a good medium blend I think. Decided to choose the hash brown bowl and it didn't not disappoint! Perfectly cooked bacon, plenty of avo, crispy hash browns with scrambled on top. My hubby got scrambled eggs with sausage and toast but he wished he ordered mine! Our daughter got the scrambled egg kids meal with fruit. The ambience is like a diner but with alot of space as it's one big room!

Tasty breakfast spot.. Enjoyed a tasty hearty breakfast with my brother. Service was excellent and Diner vibe is welcoming!! We definitely will plan to return when I'm back in town.

Guy Fieri can't be wrong here! What a delight. EVERYTHING is good on their menu. This was easily the best choice we made as we meandered through town looking for a decent diner for Brunch on a Monday. Be warned, Portion sizes are huge so come hungry. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Fish & Chips, a side of fries, the Belgian Waffle, a Triple Deck BLT, and a Buttermilk Biscuits and sausage gravy. It was all very delicious and still good a day later because we simply couldn't finish our portions at the Diner. The place itself is very unassuming. There is plenty of table and booth seating available and the bathrooms are clean. I would absolutely come here again. The staff here is also very friendly and a good source of menu information because they love eating there too. There is something for everyone on their menu. I think about the only thing that was disappointing was the coffee. It didn't seem strong enough to me. In any case, if I don't overfill on lunch next time, I'm happy to partake of their desserts.

Had a late breakfast/lunch/brunch on the way out of town here and someone in my party of 6 had been to a Metro Diner before so it came highly recommended. Loved the vibe and liked how simple but effective the menu was. Not to mention, the special roast of the day was Jamaican Me Crazy coffee, of which I drank at least a gallon. I went breakfast route with the Western Omelette, which was overflowing with ham, onion, mushroom, and peppers with cheese and salsa. Very, very good and pairs with the crispy hashbrowns and the big slices of toast. Our server was super nice and attentive, and though we were't complicated, it was a large group. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will have to add Metro Diner to the rotation whilst in transit.

I always loved this place for breakfast. I loved the different options available. However yesterday I was served a very dirty mug and didn't notice it until I drank some. The manager was very apologetic however I was very nauseous after realizing that it was very caked with leftover food. Needless to say I didn't eat anything and our tables bill was taken care of. I know mistakes happen but how did this not get noticed by anyone?

I thought it was pretty tasty, but there are bottles of syrup on each table and drizzling some over it really hit the spot for me. I've been driving past Morning Fuel on the Carlisle Pike for the last few months. I'm a frequent…read moredriver out that way and every time I passed it, it always looked closed. So I wasn't sure if it was one of those businesses that kind of flopped and nothing had replaced it yet. Alas, I recently found out that it is, in fact, still open. And you know what they say: don't shop on an empty stomach. I was on my way to karns, and I concur. I decided to stop at Morning Fuel so I wouldn't make any hasty purchases while shopping. So I walk in, and the first thing I notice is the music. It's blaring early-2000s-ish rock music. Think Evanescence. Pseudo-angsty music, basically playing at the volume you'd expect in a club. The decor is like a really corny First Watch (live laugh love signage and pictures of measuring cups filled with grains) perhaps with little more edge. And there are straw wrappers and bits of food on the floor, kind of like the Texas Roadhouse peanut situation, except it's not peanuts. Shortly after I was seated, they swept the floor, so I'm assuming it wasn't intentional lol. So, yeah. First Watch on crack? Maybe? First watch's angsty step sibling? First Watch with obnoxiously loud music and a little harder of an edge. And honestly, First Watch and Morning Fuel are part of the same genre. You know what you're getting. And the genre is over priced diner. As far as the food goes, I got the stuffed French toast with blueberry drizzle, and it was really good. It did its job. Nothing spectacular, but a perfectly good breakfast. Overall, I'd say Morning Fuel is pretty average, but these places are kind of a genre unto themselves, and I can see why people like them. It was also a little cheaper than First Watch, which I like but don't really go to. This would not be a recurring haunt for me by any means, but I think it will be for some people. So if you like Evanescence and nu-metal more than you like the Jonas Brothers and other corny folky music, that's what they're playing at Morning Fuel. If you like black floors and a little less of a rustic vibe, that's what Morning Fuel is about. If you like the product that First Watch serves but don't necessarily like the First Watch vibe, you can go to Morning Fuel. Similar kind of product. Packaged differently. Maybe a little cheaper.

I've driven by Joy's a million times and somehow never noticed it before. It's tucked into a busy strip mall and easy to miss if you're not specifically looking for it. Spoiler alert: you should be looking for it. My quest for the evening included both a burger and a chili dog, because they both looked amazing and I wanted the full Joy's experience. My adventure buddy and I arrived around 5pm and I was honestly surprised to see only one other person inside when we walked in. We grabbed a booth by the front door and looked over the menu again to finalize our plan. Since it was our first visit, we decided to order a few things and split them so we could try more. We ordered the loaded chili dog topped with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard ($5.25) and one of the Big Block Burgers -- specifically the Joy's Burger -- which came with grilled onions and mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, LA sauce, Swiss cheese, and fresh cut fries ($12.99). Naturally we added bacon for an extra $0.99 because that felt like the right decision. We also each grabbed a Diet Pepsi (to maintain some illusion of balance) for $2.50 each. Our total came to $25.69 before tip, which felt like a pretty solid deal for a two-person Friday night dinner adventure. The setup at Joy's has a classic old-school diner feel. The grill sits right behind the seating counter so you can watch your food being made, and they mix milkshakes right out front as well. The place is simple and no-frills -- and in my experience, those "keep it simple and do it well" places are often the real heavy hitters. The chili dog came out first, and the first thing I noticed was that this thing was HEAVY. This wasn't your typical skinny hot dog -- it was a full ¼-pound dog absolutely loaded with chili. The flavor reminded me of a Cincinnati-style chili dog and it was really good. The chili was flavorful instead of just decorative, the mustard and onions were balanced perfectly, and the bun did its job without getting in the way. As someone who takes chili dogs very seriously, I have to give Joy's credit for delivering a straightforward, perfectly executed chili dog. Next came the burger and fresh cut fries, and when I say this burger was big, I mean BIG. Two patties tall with all the toppings stacked high. We sliced it in half and immediately dug in. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the mushrooms and Swiss were generous, and the whole thing just tasted like a real, proper burger. Not a chain burger that started life frozen and tastes like it could have been reheated in my microwave at home. This was the kind of burger you picture when you say you're craving a burger. The fries were exactly what you want from fresh-cut fries -- the smaller ones nice and crispy, and the bigger ones crispy on the outside with that soft, fluffy inside. Splitting the chili dog and burger turned out to be the right call. It would have been easy to eat everything solo, but my stomach probably would not have forgiven me later. Our server was super friendly and attentive throughout the visit. While we were there, a few more people came in to eat, but overall it felt relaxed and easy for a Friday evening. Parking is free since Joy's sits in a strip mall, but it can be a little tight because there are several other popular businesses nearby. We were able to find a spot without trouble, but I could see it getting tricky during busier times. If you're looking for solid burgers, legit chili dogs, and an old-school diner vibe, Joy's Grill & Burger House is absolutely worth seeking out -- especially if you're like me and always on the lookout for your next great burger or chili dog adventure.

Three staff was all very young and seemed to be in a rush. OK - we can deal with that, although it wasn't even as crowded as usual on a Sunday night. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (which was listed under handhelds), with the "chilli mango coleslaw" option. We also had a pork belly sandwich and smash burger for our toddler. We weren't given an option to get that medium and wete told "it just comes one way" "because it's smashed". Other restaurants always ask you how you want your burgers even if it's listed as a smash but ok - I can also live with this. The last thing we ordered we a Buffalo chicken wedge salad to share. It ended up being our undoing for the evening and the straw that broke the camels back. The "Nashville" chicken sandwich was a greasy, thin slice of completely unseasoned chicken. It wasn't spicy like it said, it was pretty soft and soggy instead of crunchy, and was totally unsalted. It was worse than when I was doing no salt from a high bp diet post partum. :( the bread fell apart and was sopping wet... I guess from some pickles and lettuce on the bottom of the sandwich? It was anything but handheld and so I ended up just scraping what chicken off I could and leaving the rest. My "chili mango" coleslaw had no mango, no spice, and was just regular plain, unsalted cole slaw. I recieved 2 teaspoons of this in a plastic cup on the side and regretted not ordering the fries instead, which looked to be a good portion size on my husbands entreé. My food order was terrible overall. 0/10 My husband said he liked his sandwich. The fries were a 6/10 because they were crunchy but they were cold. Our kids menu smash burger was all grease, and came well done. Our kid ate a few fries and they were less greasy. 3/10 The worst part of the meal was the salad... The Buffalo chicken was tasty, but the whole salad was onions and sopping in dressing. We then found a black molded rotten tomato and honestly we were sick to our stomachs after that. Like I was insisting the salad at that point and ended up finding that but what else did we already eat that was just totally rotten ?? 2/10 only for the chicken salvaging the flavor for this dish. When we told the waitress that this was distressing, like we came out to get our of the house with our baby and this was the meal (so disappointing) she did not automatically offer to take the rotten salad off the bill. We asked her to please remove it, and to her credit she did so after putting us in an awkward position to have to ask at all. We liked that this place supports local artists. For that, 2 stars For these reasons though above we will not be back here for dinner. Sorry Evergrain, we will miss you!

What a fantastic Yelp Elite event at Revolutionary Hot Sauce Eatery in charming Mechanicsburg!…read moreCreator Tim Myers has built such a fun, flavorful concept by pairing his delicious hot sauce line directly with the restaurant's menu. The complimentary "Twin Taco" delivered huge, vibrant flavor in every bite--a perfectly handcrafted taste, though definitely on the delicate, lighter side. We also ordered the Lemon Drop Salad and Peach Basil sparkling beverage to-go for my daughter, and both were absolute hits. The salad was fresh and zesty, and the drink was incredibly refreshing. To top it all off, the service was top-notch. Javier was so attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. Mechanicsburg has a real gem in Revolutionary Hot Sauce Eatery, and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu!

The taco was good I didnt get to pick a hot sauce for my taco but that was okay! My husband enjoyed the flatbread I thought it was pretty good as well id get again or try another flatbread next time! The mac and cheese was okay, I am not sure if id get again! All in all it was a great experience with a super nice owner! He holds events there as well that we want to check out there is also beer on tap that he brews and a bar! Id highly recommend checking it out!!
