Our server Zach was very attentive and offered great suggestions. The food was good the only suggestion for an option would be to offer sautéed onions, peppers or mushrooms for the meatloaf. It felt like it was missing something until we added some from our other dish which made it perfect. The

Diet coke. Not super expensive, good food (bacon is pretty thin - like the omelette more than the scrambled eggs). The service is very good and I like most of what I order (ribs are good). Zack was a good waiter tonight. Ran into some employees doing some kind of video? Check out the picture lol.

On the way home after taking off early from work and saw this place. I did not have breakfast this morning so I decided to give it a try. The place was crowded but I got a table. The staff was friendly and my waitress Athena came quickly to get my drink order while I perused the menu. They offered all day breakfast as well as lunch options. My drinks of coffee and water arrived and I decided to try the huevos rancheros with the eggs, sunny side up yolk loose. In a reasonable amount of time out came the Huevos Rancheros. As seen I. The picture it looked good and came with more chips than I expected. The jalapeños and salsa added to the taste giving a zippy flavor. They have an interesting policy. Once you take two bites of your entrée, they drop the check. They stayed. It's no hurry, but you pay the waitress when you're ready. The portion was just right filling but not overly. I give this place 4.3 stars.

My husband has been bugging me to try this place so we decided to go tonight. Typical diner experience. Bright when you walk in and we managed to find a booth. Waitress was very friendly and kind. He got the breakfast Burger with some extra eggs. He loved his but tomatoe was mushy. I ate his fries and they were hot & fresh. I got the chicken salad croissant sandwich with broccoli. Tomato was mushy and lettuce wilty. The croissant was not good, almost tasted stale. The chicken salad itself was supposed to have pecans in it but I never found any and about two grapes. No flavor. Ate half & decided to bring the second half home and Doctor it up. There was a lot of chicken in there and the broccoli was absolutely delicious. They also had a Hollandaise sauce that came with his eggs that I put on the broccoli and it was cheesy and good. Can't say I would be running back but definitely not a bad place and probably just for breakfast. I would like to try their eggs benedict since the Hollandaise sauce was so good!

Wife stuffed French toast with raspberries inside. Met a couple of ladies from Ohio. Recommended "bowl". Their second time in two days and ordered same both days. Waiters got tied up but no big deal. Home fries were not crispy, but good. The omelette came with horseradish mustard and salsa. Salsa was okay and ordinary. Horse mustard was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Bellini and a combo with a Belgian waffle, eggs, and bacon. Paid $2 for a small jar of maple syrup. I don't understand why restaurants offer simple syrup for breakfast items, totally ruins a good pancake, waffle, or French toast. There's no substitute for maple, it elevates any dish and is easy to come by... I also love to see blueberry or blackberry as options. The waffle was delicious, I will certainly visit next time I'm in town, just for that!

I thought the inside decor was really cool and it was basically set up like a New York City deli. Even in the parking lot it had Knicks, jets and Giants parking lot signs. Stopped in on a Wednesday around 3 PM and wasn't very busy. TVs everywhere and looks like a good place to watch a sporting event, but I did notice they close at 9 PM. Not sure if those hours are still correct. My lunch was fantastic and I started out with a bowl of matzoh ball soup for eight dollars and then I highly recommend this huge deli sub called the Cranston Kevin. Huge sandwich for $20 and worth it and the potato salad is pretty good as well. I added a picture of the sandwich which is almost like a French dip, but it's got turkey on it as well. Our server was Lauren and she even said it's her favorite sandwich on the menu. On the other side of the restaurant, they have a huge bakery as well, but didn't grab anything but did some window shopping of all the great stuff they had in the bakery. Great lunch spot and would def come back

Though the table was mere feet away from the host/cashier station, I was not attended to for 20 minutes. My order of tuna salad wrap and a three cheese omelet with a side of potatoes and english muffin took 25 minutes to arrive. The good: The tuna wrap was generously portioned and tasty as was the tuna salad which featured a baseball sized portion of fish spread on a bed of lettuce. However, that success was mitigated by a cold $12 three egg omelet containing what appeared to be congealed cheddar and mozzarella and topped with a square of American cheese. It also came with barely warm potatoes. The cheeses are not described on the menu and I failed to ask so that's on me. The English muffin was fine, as was the portion size though a hungry eater might disagree. I promptly scraped off the square of American cheese (is American cheese really cheese?) and sent back the omelet. The same one returned minutes later warmed briefly on the griddle -- so not congealed but not remade. The potatoes were slightly warmer than before though not sufficiently appetizing to consume. The hostess was not responsive to my complaint of slow service and cold food, offering no apologies. Its too bad as I have frequented Country Boy in my youth since the 1980's. Back then it was a "Greek" style breakfast diner. At some point I stopped going. I thought they deserved a visit now that they also offer a full lunch and dinner menu, plus the grits are pretty good when they have some (No grits after 2pm). Its no mean feat to remain fifty years in the same location. The other tablemates had nice looking, freshly made food including a particularly large hamburger served with crispy fries that looked great. The verdict: Country Boy cooks good food and has the potential to excel with better management and attentive staffing. In the meantime I am heading to Starlight Cafe across the road (Gus cooks to order and Mina serves with a smile), and Benedict's on Curlew and Alt 19 which features great food with excellent service.

Speaking of someone who's been going to this place since I first came into my neighborhood in the 2000s, it was right down the block from where I live. Overall, I've always had mixed feelings about this place. It was definitely well kept and well decorated with a nice little solarium-like eating area. The eating environment was pretty clean and the staff was approachable for the most part. Food wise? That's...Where I tend to break on the matter. You see, while it was good with sandwiches, everything else was pretty mediocre; a lot of their traditional Greek dishes tend to have little flavor or be a bit watery, and they frequently relied on the microwave to serve it hot which is a huge no-no in the restaurant business. In my personal opinion, where Bread and Butter's strength lies, aside from sandwiches, was international products that it would sell on the side like authentic Turkish delights, pastries that were actually pretty tasty to eat and kept cold, and soups that would always be kept heated and guaranteed to be good. Ontop of that, their pastries were actually really impressive and I'm surprised just how little credit they got for that. I'm going to miss all that very much, and in truth I regret not trying their sandwiches instead. Although Bread and Butter wasn't my favorite place, nor would I consider it gourmet, it had its charm and it was definitely an iconic staple within Tarpon Springs and its community. To see it go is honestly saddening but no good thing lasts forever; That it was there to begin with is what matters the most.
