This place is amazing! They helped us fix a water leak for our Ford Transit Connect that multiple other shops, including a Sheehy Ford dealer in springfield, could not fix. The Ford dealer was nice, but they couldn't solve our problem after repeated tries, and they still charged us money for them being unable to solve it. They also charged us for a new windshield entirely, which cost a bunch of money and didn't solve the problem. Thankfully, I met Ricardo during a painting estimate we were doing for him. Usually a customer is all about being served, but this guy actually went out of his way to help us during a consult for a paint job we are doing for him! I was super impressed, but obviously, skeptical- because a few other car shops had already failed to diagnose the truck's water leak issue. We were on the verge of selling it. Thankfully, just 1 and a half days later, Ricardo let us know that the problem was completely fixed, and he personally made sure of it. He was able to describe the loose component and how they had water tested with a hose to find it. We now have the vehicle with no issues at all and it's like new again! I absolutely enjoyed my experience with this business. The customer service is stellar and the service is fast and of great quality. My car didn't pass the safety inspection at the dealership and they gave me a quote for $1450 to change the break paths, rotors, and a couple more things. After doing some yelping, I narrowed down my list to a few auto shops and got different quotes. Pentagon liberty manager gave me an exact charge including tax. Upon my arrival, they greeted me very courteously, did an investigation, and told me I don't need to change all the crap the dealership told me to change. They gave me a quote of ~$750, and since they didn't find the part the same day, they gave me w loaner car for the day I didn't have my car. The cream of the crop? They gave me ride back and from my home when I dropped my car and came back to pick it up. All in all, i'm very satisfied with the entire experience i had with this business, and especially With the manager, Ricardo. I feel so strongly about recommending Pentagon Liberty that this is my first Yelp review -- I created an account specifically to post this. My Toyota had a relatively simple problem -- it needed a new fuel sensor in order to pass its annual emissions check. However, I was dreading the repair because I had gone to Midas several months ago and they charged me $600 but failed to fix the problem. When I talked to Ricardo, he offered to install the new part (which I'd since bought on my own) that day, for free. He did so, I cleared my subsequent 60 mile test drive and passed emissions without incident. Having had a prior bad experience, I cannot recommend Ricardo and Pentagon Liberty highly enough. They know their stuff and understand their clientele value both accuracy and speed. Moreover, their customer service is top notch. This rough winter really put my car to the test. I hit a huge pot hole coming down Columbia pike a few days ago, (yes the one in front of the animal hospital which is finally filled in) causing my front tire to go bad. I got online and ordered my tires and had them shipped to pentagon liberty. The friendliest service station I have ever encountered. I usually fill my gas tank here but not yet needed any repairs done. Until this week. Every time I come in I'm greeted with friendly employees, managers and the owner himself. Back to the car issue : I notified Ricardo about the work I needed performed so I can get back on 4 wheels. He called me right when the tires arrived. I knew this because of the tracking number. Efficiency is the most important reason for my review. I dropped off the car and he told me it will be done in a few hours. Right around 6pm today he drove my car over with all the work I requested done. 4 new tires and an oil change and an estimate for my blower motor issue. The service I received at pentagon liberty out weighs any snobby dealership I been to. I saved a lot of time using this shop and I also noticed they may have a shuttle service but not a 100% sure. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. These guys are truly genuine, good guys who care about people. I came in after having been hit by a guy who messed up my fender and scratched up my bumper. It was still drivable so I went around for quotes - all of which were about $1100, which is absurd. So I took my car to Pentagon Liberty because after calling, Ricardo told me that although they don't do major body work themselves, they can often help with minor stuff. He was very honest and kind, so I brought the car to get checked out. I got there and Ricardo was as nice as he was on the phone. He and another guy on his team both went ahead and buffed out the paint residue that was left from the collision, which made the damage look way better than it was before. Then, with my consent, they took the wheel off and hammered out as much of the dent as they could, and reattached some parts that were easily fixable. With just those small fixes, it made my car look so much better. And they refused to let me pay them for their time and work. Ricardo told me that I've already been through enough with the accident and then not being able to go through my insurance to cover the damages, so it was the least he could do. I have never been so impressed with a car shop in my life. I'm so thrilled to have found a place with people I can trust, and you can bet I'm going to start bringing my car to them from now on for mechanical work and the like. Excellent customer service! An auto shop that really cares about their customers! Brought my 1997 Nissan Alitma in after it shut off while driving (thank goodness I was able to start it up again and get it here). They couldn't communicate with the computer in my car, but that's not the first time this has happened to me. They were thorough nonetheless, and ran tests for about 3.5 hours and couldn't find the issue. Only charged me for one hour, $98, and since they couldn't find the issue, Ricardo also offered credit towards my next repair there! read more

Earlier this week my roommate went to Pentagon Liberty and he said he had encountered some of the best costumer service ever! He went in just to fix a headlight, but the problem was more than just a broken lightbulb. Long story short, Riccardo, who is a really cool friendly guy, spent two hours of his own time after work to fix my roommate's car, and he did! From the time he called Riccardo to see if he could help him, he received nothing but great customer service and quality work as if it were his own car. He could have easily just given up after an hour and said to buy a new part, but he kept going for another hour and he fixed it! From now on, when my roommate or myself have car problems, we know exactly where to go! Riccardo really goes out of his way to help you the best he can, and he is really easy to talk to and hang around with while he works on your car. Today Ricardo changed my tie rods himself at last minute. These guys really do go the extra mile. I have never seen service quite like this one. I was late from work and the shop technicians were already gone for the day so Ricardo offered to fix it himself. He stayed after hours and repaired my car. I couldn't believe it. I have brought my car here in the past and have always left more than satisfied with the results. Today is different though, what Ricardo did for me by staying after hours and repairing my car is unheard of. I wish I knew about Pentagon Liberty sooner. My wife owns a VW that just came out of warranty and she wanted to do the 40,000 service maintenance (much of which was unnecessary). Her dealership quoted us $700 for everything so I made some calls. I found Pentagon Liberty and talked to Ricardo on the phone. I explained the costs the dealership tried to charge me and we both agreed that it was not necessary. He told me to bring the car in and they would inspect it free of charge. The only thing I needed for the car was an oil change. Ricardo not only saved me $650 but also earned a life long customer. Ricardo is nice, prices are reasonable, not outstanding. I have been taking my car here for the last three oil changes, and every single time I ask for an oil change I also asked for a tire rotation. And at least two out of the three instances of tire rotation they have screwed it up. I was actually very explicit this last time and yet they still manage to screw it up. These guys are professionals and they should really understand what is meant by a tire rotation and how different cars require different types of tire rotations. Overall I have severely lost confidence in the shop after last visit, very nice but definitely don't count on them to get a tire rotation correct. read more

I swore off the dealership two years ago after too many slow, awful & aloof customer service experiences. I found this local Liberty shop for a small issue. The service was FANTASTIC & I've been going ever since--oil changes, tire work, battery replacement etc. The whole staff is friendly & efficient. Fair warning that it's a small property so it gets crowded on the last weekend of the month with safety inspections. But it's the sort of place you can take care of things on your lunch break or after work during the week--unlike waiting at the dealership for 2 hours for the simplest things. read more
