Greeted immediately after I parked, checked in and good to go in maybe two minutes tops. FYI: if you wait for your service, be aware there isn't any benches or anything in the vicinity. Agree completely with the stellar reviews for Mo and his shop. Had my check engine light come on after a night shift and predicted that it had been the alternator given my car's age. After giving him a call and bringing it in, Mo dropped what he was doing and checked for me immediately - found out what the problem was and predicted that it would take them the day to turn it over. If that wasn't enough, the car taxi service legitimately had 0 drivers in the AM.. and after waiting maybe 10 minutes or so without any response from the app, he decided that he would drive me without any request for payment or reimbursement whatsoever. If your card doesn't work at the pump, make sure to ask an attendant for help because their pumps are not as user friendly. The message on the screen said "unable to read card" so I tried another card and that still didn't work. Within seconds, the station attendant came out to help me. I forgot what he pressed, but apparently I was doing something wrong. He was friendly and quick to assist so I'm giving them high marks for customer service. Also, this gas station is clean. I took my Infiniti to Mo at Metro Motor after the 105k dealer check up revealed $9k in "critical" work. Mo had his MD inspector fully evaluate the vehicle, and determined that only one of the recommendations was necessary, brakes. The brake pads and rotors were cheaper than the dealer's quote. I had a nail in a tire and needed a tire plug. I discovered the issue when in Tyson's and tried several service stations or tire stores. All were too busy or wanted me to leave the car. Some quoted $50 plus. I then tried Glen Echo Exxon. They recognized it as a quick fix. Worked it into their schedule. for the past 8 months EACH and EVERY time the car starts the power steering squeals for 30 seconds with or without turning the wheel or putting in gear. Items I wanted repaired: check engine light is on; flapping sound from beneath the car at highway speed; outside temperature sensor not working. These were the things i wanted fixed and so, I took my car to Glen Echo Exxon. I discussed these items needing diagnosis/repair. I went over the items with manager, provided detailed description. Exxon estimated $400+ to resolve check engine light but could not promise that would work, nor could they address the other fixes I wanted. However, Exxon did find several other items they wanted to repair at over $1000 that were invisible and unknown to me. A few hours later and $700 poorer I drove my car away from Exxon. The power steering noise still very apparant and loud. Exxon claims they could not and did not hear it?! and now, not only is the check engine Light on but two additional dash lights have come on. Exxon acknowledges it is something they did but were now unable or unwilling to resolve without at least trying a part at $400+ because it Might be an oxygen sensor. I am Very disatisfied and feel it was largely a waste, spending $700 and having none of the fixes I wanted addressed but paying invisible items Exxon says were needed though I was not aware of. Also Exxon did not provide or show me the parts they "replaced" . I got excuses but not am not pleased. My advice, should one decide to use Glen Echo Exxon, be very wary of Glen Echo Exxon 'finding' items to repair outside of the fixes requested. Request to keep parts (they did not provide the old parts for the things they replaced), request to be shown, to physically go over and see what they will subsequently discover as urgently needed repairs. and get a second estimate from another shop. read more

Pulled in one day because of a flat tire. I was greeted with a smile and very quickly brought to the Service Manager(Mo Abutaa) in whom I was also greeted with a friendly smile. After I told him my issue he checked the Tire and located a nail in it. He had the tire plugged and I was on my way within a very short time. He also gave me a card and suggested a few good pointers to me before I left as well as invited me to contact him anytime if ever a new problem comes up.
