I got robbed today. I walked into the Nail Center & Spa and asked for a pedicure and manicure. I told them I wanted powder for my pedicure because I don't like gel, but she insisted that gel is better than powder. I asked her why, but she couldn't give me a reason--probably because of a language barrier, I suppose. Then I replied, "Okay, gel is fine," and showed her the cat-eye gel I wanted. She said no, so I had to change to what they had in the store--three times. And the options were very limited. At that point, I should have walked out, but since I was already sitting there and didn't want to be rude, I just went with whatever they had. And decided to stop just pedicure. She showed me the packages they offered, and I chose the regular one, which was around $35. After I finished, I tipped her $5 in cash and paid with my card. I didn't check the price until I got home, and that's when I saw I had been charged $52. I wouldn't complain if the price was reasonable and the result was pleasant, but it wasn't. The price wasn't what they told me at first, and I can barely see the cat-eye effect. The manicurist also didn't seem to have the same skill level as others I've been to. Pretty bummed about my experience today. It was very rushed -- a gel removal, followed by a hard gel manicure, all done in 30 minutes. There wasn't any care through the process, the old gel was not even brushed off my hands after removing. The shape I requested was not followed. After doing the gel, it was never buffed or filed before putting the paint on, causing it to be very uneven and extremely thick. It was not a pampering, relaxing experience at all (there wasn't anyone waiting so he could have slowed down). Very sloppy job and so disappointed with how my nails look. They charged my mom so much and all she asked was for the basic pedicure and they were trying to upsell and weren't listening. By the end they charged my mom the most expensive one. Saying they gave her hot rocks when the basic one had that option as well. Don't come unless you want to get charged so much for no reason. I hate writing this because I really liked Hanna and her work. I walked in and told them I wanted a Pedi. Hanna wasn't pushy. I really like that. I was the one who wanted to see the Pedi packages. She recommends the most expensive one ($50). Perfect, I have a $60 gift card. I have lupus and MS, so my feet are pretty ugly. It's been a min since I got a pedi. She was really good and made them as pretty as they could get. I was almost in tears of joy. I would twitch and she would constantly check in to make sure I wasn't in pain. She was really attentive to making sure I was good due to my condition. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT. I got home and told my bf about how extremely happy I was. I wanted to cry due to how pretty and clean they looked. Then I realized I never got my 15min massage. Everything was great, but the purchase of the $50 Pedi package was to get the massage. No complaints, they did everything I asked for from a design to changing the nail shape. However, they lost me when I had to come back to this location to get one nail fixed. This is a set they put on me. And when I came in... the receptionist/nail person... I told him all I needed was one nail fixed he asked me to come back 30mins.. and was very surprised when I did. When he saw me come back he said something in his language that caused the other nail ladies to laugh. 2 other people that walked in before me were serviced first. If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. Absolutely messy nails. I have been coming here for a few months. Other times my nails are always cute. Today however that was not the case. I don't walked in at 9:15am. For a manicure with acrylic overlay and a "spa pedicure". Prices are not posted but in the past I've paid $23 for a basic pedicure and $15 acrylic (I tip $10-15) and my gel manicure comes out to be $30 plus $10 gel (I tip $10-$15 here as well). Well today, besides being charged $100 and bleeding from a toe nail, horrible nails half a**ed work my nails look like they're lifting. Synopsis: I walk in at 9:15 request service and the nail tech was taking her time working on my hands diligently (at this point with Christmas coming I think to myself okay a $30 tip is absolutely necessary for her dedication to my nails). We make small talk and the service is going greatly. Around 9:35 someone else walks in with a group of 2. Right away she starts manhandling my hands start drilling and drilling (why was she drilling so much, if I asked for acrylic overlay on top of my natural nails?) and wanting to hurry up and finish, she laid the acrylic horribly. I ask her if she was okay, and she said "uhu" I asked her red gel and one finger on each hand beige (I have an event where I need my nails to match my gala outfit) she then adds a horrible pinkish red and when I correct her she begins to speak Vietnamese. She assumed I didn't understand....... I am multilingual. But that's not why I am writing this review. The review is based solely on the crap job, crap service and how quick the tech was to finish my nails to move onto the next person. Absolutely horrendous. My toe and I now have an appointment in a few days to the doctor because the "ingrown" nail I had was yanked off, side note: I DO NOT have ingrown toe nails. I pride myself in the caring of my hands and toes/feet. I get up to pay, and the man in the front tells me $125 to which I reply "excuse me" and he them screams across the salon in Vietnamese and then he exchanged a few words and then looks at me and says $100 even ("$50 each thing")Listen, I know things have gone up, I was here 18 days ago for the same pedicure I paid $23 and $15 for gel for a total of $38 and today the price went to $50 ($12 increase in 18 days). The acrylic overlays was $50 as well. In my experience these prices are outrageous for the services I was rendered. I will absolutely not be going back. read more

Didn't rush me to make decision and actually helped me with every little decisions that I was making and made me very happy and returning client. Pricing: very affordable, giving me a lot of room to tip the experts that were working on me. Pedicure: she did me solid! Extra clean, took out a lot of my calluses, and she's suuuuper nice! Because I was getting the rose gold dip mani, she tried very hard to match my mani color. I am very thankful for her. Manicure: the gentleman prepped my nails for the lady to work on. He was super nice and explained to me everything that I needed to know. He was the one that helped me to decide on MY color. I appreciate this kind of service. The lady work on my mani was very meticulous, detailed, didn't miss a thing, I felt like I can relax to know that she won't miss anything and gave me the best version of mani that I deserved. I thank you for the bottom of my heart. And then I saw their menu... they have service for children! I am bringing my 3 years old here the next time. And free flower for children's mani pedi! Right away this woman had a bad attitude and look I tried to stay positive but I knew it was all bad when she brought cold water to soak my nails. I can't believe it's 2025 and nail salons are still acting like this. Biggest waste of money I spent when my cuticles barely got touched. They have lost touch with reality that was easy money I don't understand why they can't see that. Don't waste your time and money here. Trust me pictures don't do it justice! My nails are really BAD in person. The male doing my nails had no idea what he was doing I would correct him and I could tell he was getting frustrated. Actually more nervous in sense. The shape is so uneven. Ones were shorter than others. Bumpy powder. I don't blame him. I blame the owners for putting him to do something he doesn't have down yet. He doesn't 100 percent know how to do acrylic nails. Yesterday (Mar. 23, 2024), my legally blind mom went into this location to get a manicure. The nail tech, Natalie first declined my mom's request for nail extensions and was impatient when my mom was trying to pick a color; then she tried doing a bait and switch on dip color because they ran out of the color my mom wanted; and after my mom paid and tipped she left my mom stranded at the far end of the salon. Initially the manager helped my mom find this station. So when my mom called Natalie for help and as Natalie was "helping" my mom find her way to the front, Natalie yelled at mom my mom for touching her arm. My mom explained all of this to the manager who apologized and who assisted my mom to her car (she was given a ride there). My mom has been at this location one other time and thought she could handle the layout by herself. She is never afraid to ask for help. The way Natalie treated her was unbelievable. My mom also complained that Natalie was rough with her as she was receiving her services and seemed to be trying to rush my mom so that she could attend to other clients. My mom is very friendly, talkative, and sweet; she deserved better. No one in my family will ever get services from Nail Center and Spa again. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Walked into the nail salon for a pedicure and asked an employee for pricing and decided to stay. Was never told a wait time but they only had 1 other customer waiting for service. After a few minutes I was told to have a seat at a chair for my pedicure. Water was running and I stayed there for about 20minutes until I asked how much longer. The water was cold at this point. The male working there said 3 more minutes so I waited and then a lady came to me saying 10 more minutes before she finished. I told her I had to leave. Waited for more than 40minuted and I got my feet dried, shoes on and walked out. They didn't seem to care for my business as nobody even apologized to me. Definitely don't recommend!! read more
