Should you happen to be a well traveled experienced foodie. Then nook and cranny, hole in the wall restaurants have become an well appreciated acquired taste. Although a fairly new Mex late night breakfast diner does not align along a premiere location, like 6300 Collins Avenue by accident. Like an exclusive country club membership. Which potential members and businesses are thoroughly interviewing. And much to my presumed conspiracy assessment. This alley side restaurant did not disappoint in any way short of quality food with utmost professional service.

    Breakfast burrito

Meh. Breakfast burrito is not easy to mess up. Lots of egg barely any bacon and extremely over salted so all I tasted was salt. They could put potatoes and more pico de gallo. Way overpriced for it and customer service was like a burrito: painfully average:

Came in on a Thursday afternoon after hurricane Milton canceled our cruise LOL They have an order and wait area outside or a dine in area (it's small) on the inside. We decided to dine in It's a small location so we were the only Ones there until we almost finished eating. Everything was made to order. We give all the food a 10/10 nothing was bad with it. Flavor was good and for the price in south beach you can't really beat it We would definitely come back

Looking for a quick and easy breakfast and, literally, stumbled upon Mexi Cafe. A true "hole in the wall" ... and I say that with *great* respect! My wife and I started with two iced caramel lattes... real caramel and not just "flavor". Very tasty. My wife had the breakfast burrito which could have used a bit more spice and I had the breakfast tacos, which were overflowing and delicious. Several outdoor picnic tables on the sidewalk provide a perfect atmosphere and a great escape from "hotel food and setting".

We went on a Sat at 9 am, small inside and welcoming. Everything we tried was delicious and freshly made. The vanilla latte was rich, sweet and delicious. I had a drip coffee, which is just coffee. My son had churros and a shake. Both were very good. My husband and I both enjoyed our egg dishes. Super convenient and close the many hotels.

Excellent Mexican food and an outstanding smash burger on the menu, too! The place is quaint with a walk-up window and inside counter, as well. There are five seats at the bar inside and picnic tables outside. We really enjoyed this place. Service was prompt and friendly too. Note: Apple Maps states this place is Permanently closed but it's not

Front Porch has always been a spot we dined at, mostly for breakfast, but sometimes lunch and dinner. At times, we would stay at the Z Hotel just for Front Porch. Unfortunately, that has changed, and I would never go back or accept a free meal or service--imagine that, never accept a free meal in Miami. The service was bad, actually the waiter was fair to ok, but the bleach blonde older server consumed the air out of the room. She was grumpy, not engaging, and when she spoke her voice was so deep and off putting that it frightened me. The culinary offerings, reminds me of a hospital cafeteria from the 80s/90s . The worst part was the theming and lack of ambiance. It felt like a seedy nightclub or raggedy adult club you have to take a shower after leaving. I had to apologize to wife for such a poor experience. Bad husband! Also, I believe the operation was being managed or run by a small family of 4/5 people with no hospitality, culinary, or service experience. Finally, for $100, I never have to go there again. Front Porch, RIP. Sorry...

We were seated right next to the pool, but our table happened to be directly in front of the spot where everyone stopped to take photos. At first it felt a little odd, but it quickly became entertaining and added to the fun atmosphere. We stayed in the Azure suite, Our room was stunning and was ready a few hours early, which allowed us to start enjoying our stay right away with a bottle of bubbly the hotel sent up. We changed into our swimsuits and headed straight to the pool. The next morning was my favorite part of the stay, since only hotel guests have access to the pool before the restaurant opens, it was much quieter and the perfect way to enjoy such a beautiful setting. The only downside was that the hotel is extremely loud at night. We knew what to expect from reading previous reviews, so it wasn't a surprise, but it's worth mentioning. I was also a little disappointed by the restaurant service, which felt indifferent and not especially welcoming. Despite those drawbacks, the beauty, history, and overall experience made for a memorable stay!

Was quite pleased with what I ordered. Ham Croqueta: Crispy outside breading and very gooey inside. There were nice ham chunks inside. Chicken Croqueta: Same format as the ham croqueta. Though this one was kinda bland. The chicken strands just kinda blended in with the gooey mush center whereas the ham chunks were nice and smoky. Tequeño: Nicely executed with a cheesy center and crispy outside. Cuban Sandwich: I like how they really pay attention an evenly distributed and nicely crisped press on both sides. Many places are only partially crispy. The ratio of ham, pork, cheese, pickles and mustard was just right. The flavors worked in harmony and there wasn't one ingredient that dominated the rest.
