The hype is real!! As is the price! $2 tacos and they're delicious! I love me a hole in the wall. We spent less then $30 on a full appetizer, entree and drinks! I think this place Would take off if they added a bar. But for now I appreciate the casual vibes of it. The waiters were kind and attentive. I will return!

There's no special "Taco Tuesday deal" because there's no need to when Tacos are $2 everyday except the Birria ones which are about $14 for 4. There is a self ordering machine with pictures and prices or you can just order directly from the nice lady at the front. Their tacos are pretty authentic with a lot of locals there for their tacos and other varieties. Total worth it and they come out fast which as well. Not much nearby but there's street parking for 20 mins per quarter. Their horchata has just the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness.

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years and will continue to come back. It is a casual authentic Mexican food spot with delicious tacos for an amazing price. All the tacos are delicious but my favorite is the al pastor and chorizo. The green salsa is amazing and add a little bit of red salsa for an extra kick. I tried the pozole for the first time this visit. It was warm, delcious and had a deep yet clean broth perfect for the cold weather. I've tried their tostadas, echiladas, and agua frescas. Their horchata and in the summer the watermelon drink is my favorite as well. The servers are kind and the restaurant gets very packed. Parking is a little difficult but the tacos keep me coming back. I've also called ahead or ordered online for pick up and my experiences were smooth as well.

$2.00 tacos and you can not go wrong by these authentic tacos . I got 4 steak tacos . Great flavor and good amount of meat within the taco . Served with a green sauce that has a little spice to it and lime on the side too . I love coming here especially with great prices . I highly recommend. Come try and you can mix and match in one order which is a plus .

Excellent food and service. The tacos are only $2 - they are super tasty and better than most $5 tacos in Manhattan. I also love their tostadas. The chips and salsa were complimentary and the restaurant has a fun vibe.

Food is always good here, plenty of options to choose from, tacos are only $2 and they have food portions. Service is fair not that annoying waitress asking you every 3 minutes if you need anything else they are very attentive. Piñatas hanging from the ceiling and Mexican paintings on the wall, music and a good atmosphere. Parking is a nightmare you will have to park a little far unless you get really lucky and get a spot on the block, also there's always cars double parked they are picking up to go orders and just run inside to get something fast.

I found this place on Yelp because the $1.50 tacos caught my eye. So, we ordered a bunch of tacos for pick up on a Friday at around 5 pm. The tacos are now $2, but that's still really cheap. It's almost Mexico City prices, so can't complain there. It seems like an authentic Mexican place because they had more than just your standard chicken, beef, and chorizo. They had all the offals, which is rare to see - especially at this price. We had the al pastor, lengua, buche (pork stomach), cabeza, tripa, suadero. Most of the tacos were fine, though the suadero was dry. The al pastor was good but some pineapple could have put this over the top. But the star of the show was the tripa. I think they must fry it or something, because there were crispy bits in it, which really made the taco. At least, we thought it was tripe since we couldn't really tell what was what just by looking - but came to tripe as a process of elimination. I'll be back to make sure it indeed was the tripe, and next time, I'll be trying the ear, and pork skin tacos! Tip - they don't tell you this, but if you use credit card, there's a processing fee - which I found out after the fact.

Baby let me tell you this, Mexico restaurant is a gem. GO THERE NOW. Immediately and urgently. The servers are so kind, the food is delicious; and the cost is literally a no brained. I had about 5 different types of tacos-- I can't even beefing to describe how tasty they were. PLEASE GO.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in North Jersey! So many choices of tacos and very hard to find kinds. It feels like grannies are making them with centuries old recipes. We had: Cueritos - Pig Skin - this was interesting, I did like the gelatinous texture but i would have prefer it to be more tender Cabeza - Head meat - OMG it's so tender and delicious! Our favorite!!! Buche - Pork Stomach - it was ok, I've had better Suadero - meat from between the belly and the leg - this was tender and really good Al Pastor con Pina - this was good but I would not have the pineapple next time :D Lengua - Tongue - it was ok Tripa - Cow Stomach - this was good

The. Best. Tacos. Period. I literally am fighting the urge to NOT write this review, because I have waited so long to keep this place a secret. But it's out. And here it is. DOLLAR TACOS. The place is authentic Mexican. Not at all like that gaudy Tex Mex place you know that gave you gas that one time. No. This is the mother load, where sweet tendrils of pork and beef meet the sweet spot in your wallet. You can get everything from Al Pastor tacos (season pork) to bistec (beef) for a dollar. Do you hear me? A dollar! So next time you're broke, just call in and order for pick up. They also have the eat in option, but people never want to leave 'cuz they're so busy eating tacos... So if you understand that struggle, plan accordingly. They have a guy who speaks English, just in case you guys freak out on the phone lol. All in all, great place, stop by for a taco or two or seven. I won't judge. You'll probably see me eating in the corner too. read more

I used to come here once a week. Food is always great and the wait is not long at all. It has been a couple months since I went and figured it was time. I sat down with a friend. Waited but no one came. I see the new guys eyeing us but not coming to our table. After 15mins I finally called them. Guy took our order and all was happy. I saw that it was a busy day so I didn't mind. There were a lot of take outs also. But as soon as I saw atleast 4 other groups get their food before us even though we got there way way before them. (At this time we've been waiting for our food about 40mins now) I felt something was wrong. I called our waiter and he kept saying "one minute". Then I finally asked the guys making the tacos. Our order was never put in. We waited so long for food that wasn't even coming. I love this place and will probably come back again, but it was very disappointing. I never had a bad experience, but today everything bad that could happen, all happened in one experience.p read more

Dinner with my little brother who loves tacos almost as much as I do, went incredibly well here. We had 14 tacos, 2 sodas, guacamole with chips and only paid 22 dollars. The tacos are so cheap but that does not reflect the quality. They were delicious and full of flavor, especially the El Pastor tacos. The chicken tacos are awesome, even more so if you add lime and the verde (green) sauce. The only downfall is the very crowded seating arrangement. read more

I am retired from the Air Force. I have been all around the world. I have food from a lot of different places. I eat out on average 3 times a week. This is one of my first reviews. This restaurant has the very best French fries I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. If you are a foodie like me try the Chicken fingers and French fries. You will not be disappointed. read more

$1 tacos?? Its a steal Tacos are nice simple and really good. The salsa has to be homemade because it was fuego. Only downside may be the location and parking but definitely planning to go again and try the recommended drinks along with the taco's read more

A pretty disappointing experience, to say the least. Thier idea of a vegetarian option? Onions. Strike one. They were out of guacamole. Strike two. Hounded by two pedestrians at our small, cramped table selling packs of M&M's and Welch's Fruit Snacks. Strike three. I won't bother talking about the nonsense they served us, or going back to give it another try. read more

The trips and niche tacos are on point. Very close to those sold in LA. Priced between 1-1.50 , this place is perfect for a lunch or dinner on a budget. Both salsa are standard when it comes to Mexican food. Will be back to try more items. read more

Great experience with their tacos. Went with 1. Al Pastor 2. Bistec(steak) 3. Chorizo; all for a Dollar each! The red sauce is a lot more spicer but I dumped both of them in. Overall out of the 3 tacos I loved the "Al Pastor". very well seasoned and tasty! Chorizo was my least favorite but wasn't all that bad! I would be coming back next week for more! read more

Awesome tacos for only $1 each. My dad has come here a lot and I'm glad he took us here. He ordered me two chorizo, a carnitas and al pastor tacos. They were all cooked well and were so juicy and the hot sauce was great. We ordered horchata too. The sopes for 3 were about $8 which I thought wasn't expensive either, and the avocado was fresh and my sister ate them in a second. Everything here was great, I'll definitely be coming back. The place isn't too small, it's Passaic so parking sucks, n the place was packed for a bit, but definitely worth the wait to eat in. I love Mexican restaurants because of the way they decorate inside and this one even had little piñatas hanging around. The waitresses were very friendly as well, even though they were really busy. I have no complaints about this place read more

Dollar Tacos! Dollar Tacos! Their steak and their chicken tacos are good. They also have Al Pastor and other more exotic meats (sausage and tongue). Their locale is nice and you get your order made to order in 10 minutes. If you're in a hurry, you should call ahead for pickup. I usually get full with just $5... Unless I binge on Chips and Guac. They also have other items on the menu, but mostly I'm here for the cheap and great Tacos. Parking could be a bit better but that's not their fault. read more

I love this place. Such a famous place in Passaic county and its name stretches over to other parts too and that's for a reason. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. You have to order their tacos al pastor and try some of them with pineapple chunks; a very traditional style of tacos. Best thing of all is that mostly every taco is $1 each and they are heavily filled with meat. I normally order about 6 or 7 and leave this place full and happy! read more

How have i not reviewed this place yet? My first time at this place was on cinco de mayo of this year. Plenty of people but my friend told me it was worth it. She is Mexican and told me this is as authentic as it gets. I had about 6 tacos that day and have been hooked ever since. They are $1 tacos by the way..yes thats right $1 tacos. Now I go back a few times a month and get steak and chicken tacos. Im currently trying to break my record of 8 tacos consumed in one sitting and do 10. My parents love this place and the quesadillas are pretty good too. Its amazing that I get a bottle of water with 8 tacos and its only about $10. Cheap date or if you want a fast and cheap lunch then this is your place to go. Did I mention that the tacos are only $1 each? read more

I love Mexico Deli because for $40 I can eat 40 delicious tacos and still have a little space for one of their aguas frescas. These are the best tacos because they are traditional with the cilantro and the onions and no other BS. It is always packed so beware. Come hungry and hangry and hongry cabrones. read more

My daughter took me to this place and they really have authentic great food, I love the carnitas and the tacos Al pastor awesome. Cheap delicious tacos. What more do you need to know? Tacos start at $1.00 and up. Waitstaff may or may not speak English depending on your luck of the draw. You don't need to know much Spanish to order though. Go with the red and green sauces on the table. read more

Cute place. The decor is so colorful and lively. Several big screen TVs around the restaurant. The workers are nice. The food is legit. They make their horchata from scratch. I got a chicken taco. Yummy. I got chicken sopes. Yummier. Then, I got the arranchanda which they substituted the beef for the chicken. What a yummy dish. Rice, beans, chicken, cheese, cream, Pico de gallo, with some cactus and onions. All that for $9. Niceee. The prices are good. And the other reviewers were right...that green sauce is good. Better than the red. I can't figure the red out. It's smoky-flavored. It's different. I go for the green. read more

Great taco cheap eats drinks aren't that great stick to water. Depending on what time you go there seems to always be a little bit of a wait unless you plan on ordering takeout which might be a good idea I enjoyed the tacos very much so even more so because I got them for a dollar but that is not the only reason why am writing a reviewStraight up it's just Great food read more

I wish I lived closer to this place. They sell $1 tacos, and they taste pretty good. I'm not really into corn tortillas, but I didn't mind it at all. You do have to park on the street, and there are meters. The restaurant is a nice size, not to big though. Their menu is not long, but it gets to the point. read more

It's difficult to find Hungarian products in Northern New Jersey let alone at reasonable prices and at this quality level. I must add that their apricot jam has the right texture, no added sugar however the sweetness of the fruit remains. I love it. They also offer torta, punies, kremes/sampit, spices and seasonal candies.

The most amazing delicious authentic tacos ever. Usually 1 dollar each unless you choose a speciality meat etc or add different toppings. It's a newly renovated restaurant. Parking sucks in this area but we'll worth looking for one. I would suggest calling your order in so when you park you can run in and pay and pick up. They accept cash or card. They have the regular Mexican drinks such as agua de jaimaca..... So much deliciousness. Food is very fresh. Meat is cooked to perfection. The vegetables they use is always fresh. Very clean. I had to remind her FOUR times for my daughters quesadilla!! By the time she finally brought it out we had already fed them from our tacos and asked for the quesadillas to go! And the worst part of the story.... There were only about 4 tables and 3 waiters!!! So minus 2 stars for the bland food and that bad waitress ... Authentic mexican tacos! I loved this place. If you're looking for good and cheap tacos this is the place to go. I was here on a Sunday and it was packed so that meant we had to wait half an hour to be seated. There were also mariachi who charged $20 to sing 3 songs per table (this is of course optional). But the wait was worth it because I loved our tacos and all their beverages as well. I gotta say though their options are very basic so if you're looking for something a little more rare you probably won't find it here. read more

Hands down the best authentic Mexican food in Passaic, NJ. The price, the quality and variety of the food is second to none. I've personally worked here in the past, when they first opened, so I know the kitchen is held to a high standard of cleanliness, which still holds true today. Therefore, if you have cravings for tacos, tortas, tamales or their freshly made "Aguas". This is the ONLY place to satisfy that hunger. read more

I go there Sunday mornings for their tamales. $1 apiece fresh out of the kitchen and as good as they come. Excellent coffee for $1 also.
