Beautiful place with lovely ambiance however the food did not deliver. I should have listened to the other reviewers. Tacos looked beautiful but did not have the taste that I desired. They were also sooo dry. The Mexican street corn was good but not amazing. I would not return to Mexicue. Lastly, their per taco price is a bit insane for the lack of flavor. Service was good however.

Hosted a birthday dinner here and it was swell-- the grilled burrito was nostalgic coming from texas and did the job-- The corn was apparently a hit and the tacos were filling for their size apparently!! Cheers!

Food was great -- everthing we ordered was tasty. Price point was good for the city $15-50 per person Cocktails -- were well made and well balanced Service -- a little slow but overall good Ambiance -- the artwork and colors are vibrant, very cute restaurant.

Good service and the tacos were decent. My fav was the grilled street corn. The service here was good! The tacos were decent, nothing mind-blowing but still tasty. My fav was the grilled street corn...creamy and charred. The vibe is chill and good for a quick bite. Ample amount of seating

Came here post-workout so we had an appetite. While I had no plans to drink, it was around brunch time and they had a breakfast margarita that was tempting. They have a 90 min bottomless option or per drink so I got the one ($9) and was not disappointed. For lunch we each got three tacos and we were so stuffed. I got the chicken, shrimp and fish tacos. Enjoyed all three but probably wouldn't get the fish again. I opted for the fried but it had a strong cinnamon taste that I didn't favor. Also the guacamole had a heavy cumin flavor that I wasn't a fan of but their chips were addictive! Quick and friendly service. Bright decor and welcoming atmosphere. Could definitely accommodate big groups.

This place is a taco lover's dream come true! First off, the variety is wild in the best way possible. Fish tacos? Check. Shrimp tacos? Yup. Pulled pork, brisket, and a bunch of others I lost count of because I was too busy stuffing my face? DOUBLE CHECK. Each taco comes with different flavors, unique toppings, and sauces that range from zesty to spicy. The meats were flavorful and juicy, the toppings fresh and perfectly balanced, and the tortillas? Soft, warm, and delicious. Bonus points for the fun atmosphere and friendly staff who didn't judge me when I ordered "just one more round"... three times. Come hungry and leave room for regret-free overindulgence.

We came during July Restaurant Week 2024, and it was a pleasant experience. Our favs were the grilled street corn, the shape of the calamari, and the size of chips. The server was friendly and informative, and the gummy on top of my drink was yummmmy. The texture was my favorite. The quesdilla portion was so big! We were all shocked. Would come back to try their regular menu maybe soon!

Went there Saturday night thinking it's empty and the menu looks good but i should have kept walking. They sat us at the booth but it was still dirty. Ordered a bowl with smoky chicken and it was actually bad. It's hard to mess up a rice beans and slaw bowl but not sure why it has sesame seeds. It was an Asian bowl trying to be Mexican, absolutely bad.

I had the hibiscus passionfruit cocktail, which was very good, and the smoky BBQ bowl, but there was nothing smoky about it. The chicken was tender but lacked taste and was very mediocre. They have a happy Monday to Friday 4 to 7 with endless tacos, and that sounds like fun with discount margaritas. I would try that, but for this visit, I was not impressed with this Mexican kitchen, especially when craving some good Mexican food.

Really amazing food at this restaurant it's a secret spot near Times Square We had tacos and nachos and fajitas Everything was fresh off the oven and tasted so good Even had the afternoon margaritas spicy margarita and a passionfruit margarita drinks really made well... Really like the blackened fish tacos and the smoky chicken tacos Will be def going back to try multiple other tacos Great service by the bartender and the waiter

While in the city on my lunch break, I finally had the chance to try Mexicue a spot that had been sitting on my must-visit list for a while. I went in fairly early, so the restaurant was quiet, which made for a chill and relaxed atmosphere--perfect for a midday break. I ordered the Elote along with a fish taco and a brisket taco. The Elote was definitely the highlight--well-seasoned, flavorful, and satisfying. As for the tacos, they looked amazing, but the taste didn't quite match the presentation. They were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. That said, the overall experience was still a good one. The service was smooth, and the vibes were nice. I'd definitely come back to give some of their other tacos a try--there's still more on the menu I'm curious about.

I came here on a Tuesday and they have a "Taco Tuesday" deal where it's happy hour all day and $25 for unlimited tacos for 90 minutes. So naturally, my friend and I did unlimited tacos. The only options you have for the unlimited taco deal are avocado, pork (not birria), or chicken tacos. I only had the chicken and pork tacos. I was honestly surprised that I liked the chicken more! Either way, each taco was STUFFED. They did not skimp out on the meat; I am impressed.

Such a cute spot in Flatiron and was a great way to end my day! Stopped in when Yelp suggested they were great for happy hour and was sad they didn't have any specials when we came in however the prices are reasonable enough we didn't really mind. They offer great cocktails and a few mock tails and a great spread of food. Will definitely come back again when the weather breaks forreal!

We had our usual list of spots in Midtown East, but this time we wanted something a little different. We ultimately landed on Mexican, however even then there were several spots to chose from. One of my colleagues found CdM, and since we had nothing to lose we decided to check it out. In terms of physical space at CdM, there is very little; this is actually a walk-up spot hence it is solely a takeout restaurant. The menu is pretty straightforward - lots of Mexican staples with a good variety to choose from. The burrito bowl looked good so I decided to go with that - I was given choice of protein (I chose pastor) and types of beans (I chose black). The bowl was really good - all the ingredients tasted fresh and they were generous with the portion. They added sour cream to the top of the bowl and it came with a side of salsa verde which I thought was a nice touch. We also ordered some bags of tortilla chips to share - these were my favorite kind as they were semi-thick and super crunchy. Overall, I had a solid experience at Cinco de Mayo. It definitely hit the Mexican craving spot and I would have no qualms returning for another meal.

I didn't see any but saw buckets for umbrellas. I opted not to leave it there since I didn't wanna forget or risk someone taking it. I took it upstairs with me. My friend had arrived and was seated. Apparently, they do offer sleeves because she got one. But the 3 people who were at the hostess booth failed to offer me one. The beautiful ambiance will get your attention immediately. It is a stunning space. The tableware was gorgeous as well. We waited for our last friend to arrive who was almost half an hour late before ordering (we thought she'd arrive sooner). Our server, Matias was gracious about it the whole time. What we ordered: Drinks: Passionfruit Margaritas & Mojito - we were happy with them. Tlayudas, Guacamole y Salsas - this was really good and a great option for the table to share. The homemade chips alone were excellent. Liked all the different dips. Guac could've used some cilantro and more acid/spice. Tán Ceviche - I loved this. Super fresh and great flavor. Could use a touch of acid. My entree was the Shrimp & Crab Enchiladas - This was pretty good. The sauce could've used some spice and some acid to cut through the richness. My friend ordered the Yellow Corn Soup as part of her meal and she did not like it. She said it was too sweet which I thought was strange. I tried a spoonful and I agreed with her. It needed a savory note and again, acid would've done wonders. Also, the crab was a bit fishy in this. She enjoyed her tamal though. I tried a touch of the sauce and it was delish. My other friend had the Quesabirria which she was also happy with. To sum up: Ambiance: 5/5 The space is undoubtedly gorgeous. Food: 4/5 Beautiful presentation on everything but each dish lacks an element or two to make it a home run. Staff: Wait staff 5/5. Downstairs staff (greeters/hostess) 4/5. Needs to be more on point like offering customers sleeves for umbrellas or pointing out the buckets to put them in. At some point through our entrees a group of 3 women were doing a 10-minute photo shoot by the stairway where our table was. Absolutely inappropriate behavior and a manager should've stopped it. Camera flashes all up in our faces while we're eating wasn't cool. Overall, still a great elevated Mexican cuisine option. The slight tweaks would make this a 5 star place for me. I'd return to try more things.

If you are someone who is looking at an aesthetic place, this is a top contender. Unfortunately, I would say this place is better looking than the food is good. The food was fine, appetizers were all fresh but lacked any real depth in flavor. I wasn't too thrilled with the bone marrow I had either (but the tortillas come in the cutest basket). Personally, if it wasn't for the drinks and the space, I cant say this place is worth it - you're not coming here for the food. Another little complaint I have is the women's restroom on the second floor - right by the door is a floor to ceiling mirror which I understand was included to make the space seem bigger, but my friends and I agreed that it is a little misleading - I kept wanting to walk into it thinking there was more space there and not wall. I would recommend maybe putting a decal on it to clearly show its mirror.
