Lamb chop plate with rice and salad
    Kelli G.

I've been wanting to try Mezze1 for a while, and I finally stopped by on my way home from work. I arrived right at 5 PM when they opened and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Not to mention the ambiance was nice. I ordered a mule cocktail from the menu (I wish I could remember the name!) and it was delicious light, refreshing, and the perfect way to start my meal. I've been on the hunt for good lamb chops, and let me tell you, these were exactly what I've been craving. I haven't had much luck finding lamb chops that really impress me lately, but these absolutely lived up to my standards. I asked for them to be grilled a little longer because I love that extra charred flavor, and they came out perfect juicy on the inside, beautifully grilled on the outside, packed with flavor, and with no gamey taste at all. The rice and salad were excellent as well, and everything complemented the meal perfectly. In fact, I literally didn't leave a single crumb on my plate. If you're looking for flavorful, well-prepared lamb chops and great service, Mezze1 is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

I loved this place! The food and ambience were chef's kiss! Everything was super fresh and the fire roasted pepper hummus was the best I've ever had. The lamb and beef kafta plate didn't disappoint - you are offered 2 choices of sauces and the light salad dressing was delicious. While we were there (Friday night) there was a belly dancer which made the night even more fun. We were celebrating my friend's bday so they all gathered around and clapped to music played over the speakers and she got a free baklava dessert with a large flaming candle. Service was perfect. I highly recommend!

I normally do not do this, which is a review after one visit to a restaurant. I normally do not because I think there are two things that every yelper looks for which is a great meal at a very fair cost in a wonderful environment well served, and repeatability of all of those factors. I am in this particular case, quite confident about the capability of these restaurant tours to do just that; delicious food, great service, wonderful environment at a very fair price in point of fact, frankly I think it's a bargain. My opinion is mezze is a great way to experience a Middle Eastern restaurants capabilities hence that's what I ordered and it did not disappoint. In addition, I complemented their triple or trio dip dish with some grape leaves, cheese, olives, turnips, etc., and had simply a delightful experience. The waitress was wonderful, accommodating, but adjusted to our pace precisely. I had Arak as an accompaniment. I did not get the brand I should have. It was exceptional. We arrived at six and were the only couple there. By the time we left the restaurant was packed and for good reason, the food service and price is exceptional, and I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant.

I loved the Conroe location so I was super happy to find they opened up a spot in Cross Creek. Been here plenty of times but keep forgetting to take pics of main dishes because they're gone quick Everything always tastes fresh and portions are generous. Service is always very friendly. Decor is clean, modern, stylish. Such a cozy vibe! We've tried the chicken and beef rice plates, shawarmas, falafels, and lentil soup so far and everything is always . Very very fresh and filling. If you haven't tried yet, you're missing out! One of my favorites in the cross creek strip.

The customer service was excellent. The food was great. The chicken kabob platter only came with one tiny skewer of chicken, so not sure if it's worth the price tag. The restaurant space was nicely decorated.

    Wine!! Delicious

So, eight of us went to dinner together and Kris was our server. First of all, Kris was phenomenal! Very attentive and caring. The food was fabulous. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. Several of our group had never eaten there before and were very impressed with the quality of the food and drinks and stated that they would be going back. The restaurant did get noisy as it filled up, but that's to be expected. Thank you Mezze1 for a very enjoyable meal.

We recently visited Mezze #1 Mediterranean Grill in Fulshear for my husband's birthday, and it's definitely a spot we'll keep coming back to! The restaurant is close to our home, and it's a beautiful new place in the Fulshear area. The interior is stylish and clean, with tasteful Mediterranean-inspired decor. The vibe is relaxed but still feels elevated. Our waitress was friendly, and the food came out really fast a huge plus when you're dining with a toddler like we were. We ordered the mixed grill platter with beef, lamb, and chicken. All the meats were juicy, tender, and rich with flavor. The salad was fresh and zesty. But honestly, the highlight for me was the babaganoush and freshly baked bread. It was the best I've had so far! The texture was creamy and smooth, It was beautifully plated with a drizzle of olive oil, sprinkled with herbs and topped with radish slices, parsley, and pomegranate seeds. The presentation was just as good as the taste. We also tried the knafa, which was soft and mildly sweet with a cheesy center and just a light topping of pistachios. Personally, I prefer the version at Phoenician with its crispy top and more pistachio flavor, but this one wasn't bad just a little plain for my taste.. On our second visit, our daughter practically devoured the bread and babaganoush again. I also got to try their Turkish coffee..it was strong, aromatic, and served traditionally with a bit of fine grounds at the bottom. It had a rich, bold flavor.. All in all, Mezze #1 is a great spot for clean, flavorful Mediterranean food. It's familyfriendly, fast, and delicious. Definitely a place I'd recommend to friends and neighbors looking for something fresh and satisfying in the area.

I used to really like this restaurant. We've been here multiple times in the past, and the food and service were always great. Unfortunately, tonight was by far the worst experience we've ever had here (and perhaps anywhere, for that matter). We waited almost 20 minutes just to be seated, then another 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and another 15 minutes before we were able to place our order. Our appetizers didn't arrive until over an hour after we arrived. Throughout the entire time, our server never refilled our water (see photo). The manager was not present tonight, and it was very clear. The servers were either on their phones or chatting with coworkers. It felt like they only cared about the larger tables, while our table was ignored. This experience was extremely disappointing given how much we used to enjoy coming here. Sadly, my family will not be returning.

Wow! I've lived in Houston my whole life (primarily in katy) and I can say very impressed by this restaurant. It hit the ballpark in every aspect, from amazing service, cleanliness, freshness/ quality of food, and the prices are great! If your looking for something light & non-alcoholic they have that, but if your a looking for something to drink their bar has a wide selection! This is just coming from someone who's genuinely so happy to have a Mediterranean restaurant that hits the right spot, and so close by!

When walking into the restaurant, the ambiance is really nice. It's a smaller place, but nicely done with the tables, dishes, decor, etc. The waitress was friendly and took our drink order but throughout our visit the service became extremely slow. Eventually, it felt like the waitress forgot about us and we had to track her down to request the check. She remained friendly, so no issues there just increased wait times including drink orders like tea and adult beverage that took 15+ minutes to receive. We ordered a gyro sandwich and the grill meat plate for our main courses after our appetizers of the fire roasted hummus and grape leaves. The hummus and grape leaves were delicious (you might want extra pita, you get more hummus than bread), but the main course needs some work. The gyro was on point but the grill meat plate was overcooked and dry. The plate came with a salad that we questioned if it had dressing. Anyways, being new we hope the restaurant just needs to work out its kinks. We'll be back to try out the happy hour and something else on the menu but just a few items to note.

I ordered the gyro sandwich. It came with fries or salad, and I ordered the salad. It was sort of sad! Only romaine lettuce and dressing with some feta, and a few of the lettuce pieces had brown edges. However: The gyro itself was amazing! The meat was very tender, and the tzatziki was tasty and plentiful. And so much meat! Plus it came with hummus and pitas on the side. Very good! Service was very good as well. One strong negative: it was freezing in there! So cold that it felt good to walk outside into 100 heat of Texas summer. I'd give this place 4 out of 5.

He listed out all of the drink options and asked if we had any questions about the menu. I ordered the lunch portion of the combo chicken and gyro plate and my husband had the chicken shawarma sandwich. Both came with a decent size feta salad and a large hummus and unlimited pita for dine in. My plate also came with taziki sauce and rice. The combo plate was huge! I could have easily shared with my husband and ask have leftovers. The meats were super tender and really flavorful. The rice was nice and fluffy, too. I will definitely be back and try more dishes. If you haven't been here, please give it a try. The customer service was enough to get back to try more dishes, but the food further convinced me.

They also have a happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with one kebab and two sides for $15, which is a great deal. The kebab options typically include chicken, beef, lamb, or shrimp. To my knowledge, the other Fadi's locations do not offer these specials. On my most recent visit, I stopped by for happy hour. While the kebabs aren't necessarily my favorite item on the menu, it's hard to beat a meal with one kebab and two sides for $15. I chose the pomegranate eggplant, fried cauliflower, and their "Mama Ganoush," a roasted eggplant dip similar to baba ganoush. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Each meal also comes with a warm pita bread that is served fresh from the oven. The ordering process is simple: grab a tray, move down the line, and choose from the foods on display before paying at the register. The staff are always friendly, and there's plenty of seating inside. If you're looking for fresh, authentic Mediterranean food in the Katy area, Fadi's is an easy recommendation.

This is the case with Lama Mediterranean Cuisine in The Woodlands. My wife had a doctor's appointment at 2 pm and we live about 35 miles away, I figured go early and get some lunch and then get to the doctor with a full stomach. We put the address into the GPS and pulled right up in front of the restaurant. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.

I finally visited this Greek/Mediterranean/Persian restaurant on a Sunday for lunch to see why it's…read morerated so high. Inside is elegant and well decorated with glass tables and large rugs everywhere. Looking at the menu, it's a mix of various cuisines, but they do separate out the Persian dishes which are somewhat similar to Mediterranean ones just cost a little more and have different spices altogether. If you visit on weekend nights, you'll likely get to see belly dancing here. I settled on the chicken shawarma wrap, even though it costs a few dollars more than the chicken pita. It does come with one side for $21,and I chose French fries. It tasted pretty good, but you do have to get used to the pickles which gives the wrap an overall weird taste. These are not your typical pickles which go well with American fried chicken sandwiches. A Mexican tortilla is used as a wrap here instead of the bread they use for wraps in other Mediterranean restaurants in Houston. If I wanted a chicken burrito, i would have dined at a Mexican restaurant. The fries are previously frozen ones and lightly seasoned and really only decent when hot. Unfortunately this is one of those restaurants which takes care of newly seated guests and large parties but ignores the tables of 1. Not my fault I only have one in my party. They seated me in the corner and another gentleman came about 20 mins after me and I never saw a waitress go to his table after being served his entree either. The chef or kitchen hand is the one who brings out the entree from the kitchen here and my waitress never showed up until they try to take your plate away. However, I was still eating and also waiting for 10 mins on a refill. I can only eat so much before needing to take a sip of a liquid...but if you come with a party of one here..you will likely be waiting awhile. The lady taking my plate wasn't even my waitress either. Meanwhile, for the gentleman sitting outside alone, I observed his drink to be empty a while and they weren't refilling his either. He finally leaves and goes to a cash register to pay. What? A semi-fine dining elegant spot with mandolin playing in the background has a cash register where you have to go up to pay? What is this world coming to? With these prices, they should roll out red carpet from the front door to your table each time you walk in....and surely make the waitress do something for once and take your card and swipe it herself at the cash register which shouldn't be in the middle of the damn room. Sort of defeats the purpose of being elegant. Did I mention the glasses are plastic here too. If they want to be refined, try at least using glasses for drinks.
