Slow service with the all you can eat appetizers. I have been here 3 times and each time they forgot part of my order. My food was cold 2 times and my friend got a drink she didn't order. When we told them we didn't order the drink the first girl was nice but the second girl was really rude said sorry I can't remember everyone's order. Gave this place a couple of tries and was repeatedly disappointed. The prices were bot horrible and the atmosphere is nice, but the food quality is lacking. Had the sliders which was devoid of any seasoning and the rolls were dry. Its worth giving a try I guess, maybe someone else would have better luck. read more

Really good food for a bar. I'd particularly recommend the fried jalopenos. Excellent atmosphere. Not too crowded most of the time that I've been there. The best service I've ever had in a bar. On Monday nights you can buy a mug of beer, and then you can keep the mug, and every time you have that mug refilled on a Monday you can do so for just $1, quickly making it the cheapest place to have a beer on a Monday night. read more

Staying at nearby Rocky Gap...checked out Mezzos online and we're thrilled to find a bar like we're used to in Northern Va. Not sure what bar they took those pictures in, but it's not where we ended up!! Made reservations which ended up being so not needed!! Pool tables, bar seating, bad lighting...4 different servers...none of which could serve us quickly or efficiently. Drunk Female patron fell off a bar stool and ended up leaving in an ambulance! Then there was the food....chicken wings?? Nah...more like chicken nuggets, loaded potato chips that weren't listed to include chili, but did. BBQ sliders with no coleslaw...turns out they ran out. Food came out in dribs and drabs supposedly because it was all made fresh...oh really? Didn't really come across that way. Beer was cold and drinks were good...just not the experience we were expecting based upon the web...but then you can't believe everything you see on the net!! read more

Horrible! The first time was bad and the second time was worse. I thought i would give it another try, but its confirmed...I wont be back. The bad thing is all I got was chicken tenders. I believe the chicken was several days old. I couldnt eat them. My daughters crab dip was barely warm. Service horrible too and they were not even busy. Dont waste your money because its not cheap either. $9 for only 5 tenders. I wish I didnt have to even give them a one star! read more

First visit was fantastic. We went for the all you can eat Sunday, food was great and so was the service. 2 weeks later we ordered wings and an hour later they tell me they are out of bone in wings. So we tried the boneless. They where horrible. The next week we came back and brought some friends. Most of us got the all you can eat special, but one ordered a baked potato. We waited on the wings for over an hr and once the wings came out the nachos where brought out. All was cold and the baked potato never did show up. Hope it gets better read more

This place is lack luster to say the least. The service is nothing to write home about and neither is the food! The sliders were decent but the "never frozen" chicken fingers were questionable...not even sure they were real chicken! The only good thing is that the beers were $2. read more

Gave this try while passing through town. It was a holiday weekend so I'm sure this added to my extremely poor experience. Service was among the worse I've ever had and the food was horrible. Bacon wrapped shrimp was extremely over cooked and tough, burger sliders had no taste, crab dip was way over done to the point we couldn't spread it on the bread, was very pasty, half our other food never showed up, the waitress rarely stopped by, never checked on our order, we actually had to chase after our own refills. Half of the food went uneaten and they offered only to take off missing items. The couple in front of us left after there food arrived and left it uneaten. We should have followed their lead. Think next time I'll just keep passing through. read more

We had lunch here yesterday, and the food was very good. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp skewers for an appetizer, and the roast beef sliders for lunch, and they were so good! I could've eaten a tray of the shrimp skewers. My husband got the basil lime chicken pizza, and that was super tasty as well. They were short staffed when we were there, so it took a minute for the food, but we weren't in a hurry and don't mind waiting for a quality meal. read more

Not the best bar that I have been to, but one of the cheapest. I went there this past weekend for their all you can eat side dishes and to watch football. They do have a bunch of different screens, but almost none of them are placed to make them easy to watch. As far as the food goes, I guess you can say that it was average bar food, which is to say that it wasn't very good. I don't mean terrible, but if I had gone there simply to eat, I would have been disappointed. The wings were a bit dry and not as well flavored as I would have liked, and the boneless were not very good at all. The fries were not very good, and their nachos really only come with stale nachos and a glob of cheese. The Sliders were the worst, because they tasted like they were caked in salt. There was enough selection to find something to eat while you watch the game, and I would probably give another star, if it weren't for the service. One of the waiters kept trying to hit on my wife and daughter, asking if we wanted anything else every few minutes after we had made it clear that we were done with the food and just wanted to watch the game, in peace. When the place was more crowded, we almost got no service. One order of wings took over an hour. The worst part of the evening was that we were there for a shift change. The waiter that we started with asked that we close out our bill so that she could get her tip on the way out. We obliged, but when we went to make another order and get another free refill of drinks, we had to make complaints to the manager who seemed to think he was doing us a favor by giving us one more plate of food, when we paid for all you can eat. Somebody needs to give this wait staff some lessons in how to run a business. read more

Going to Mezzo's is always a pleasant experience. The restaurant/bar has a lot of ambiance, and I'd go so far as to say it exudes more class than most other bars in Cumberland, MD. Prices are fair, and their new evening menu has a lot of great new options. I LOVE the Bold BBQ Chicken Artisan Pizza, and all pizzas are only $6 on Saturdays! They have trivia at 7:30 on Thursday evenings, be ready to commit a few hours, but they have lots of opportunities to win prizes. Also, Mezzos is perhaps the BEST place in Cumberland to fund-raise for your charity, organization, or campaign. The staff is super accommodating and friendly, and they really get to know their regulars. There is a lot of on-street parking around Mezzos (have to feed the parking meter, unless it's an evening or weekend day), a parking garage right behind it, and even a parking lot that's only about a block away if you're looking for free parking. read more
