Came back and tried the tres leches latte very good . Service was also better this time . I'll be a repeated customer
First time coming here and im glad we stopped by. The baristas were welcoming and friendly and provided several recommendations as first time drinks. Ultimately we got the iced café de la olla latte and the hot version. I preferred the hit version, tbh. It was cinnamony with a hint of cloves. I will say it was slightly on the sweeter side, so next time I'd ask for half sweet. I also tried their monkey bread. They warmed it up for me so it got perfectly gooey at the bottom. Again, cinnamony deliciousness.
A cute coffee shop, amazing vibes...la musica *chef's kiss*. Seems to be a popular spot for locals and parking was extremely convenient and easy. Limited seating. They had a small selection of pastries, and they make their syrups in house! Truly have to commend them as that makes all the difference. Will have to return to try other items on the menu, especially their drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful as I ordered my drink as well! Appreciated them sharing a bit of the business.
Stopped by Mi Cafecito and honestly... so good. We ordered the latte de olla, café de olla, horchata latte, and the dulce de leche latte, and every single drink was a hit. The café de olla had that perfect cinnamon-spice warmth, and the latte de olla was super smooth without being too sweet. The horchata latte was creamy and comforting, and the dulce de leche latte was rich but not overpowering. You can tell they really care about flavor and quality. Cozy vibes, friendly service, and drinks that actually stand out from your typical coffee shop menu. Definitely coming back to try more!!
Open on Thanksgiving already a plus!! So cute and aesthetically put together coffee shop. Service was top tier. I am horrible i didn't get the name of the gentleman but i told him exactly how i enjoy my coffee and he had a variety of suggestions. Won me over with letting me try their de olla cold brew for a taste test. So good and flavors of espresso along with the authenticity of cafe de olla was immaculate. The cold brew was topped with their own cold foam which wasn't too sweet at all just how i like it. overall 10/10 for its originality, flavor, and presentation for their own cold brew w/ foam. i also ordered a chorizo pie they had in their pastry shelf very flavorful with a little kick. Thank you Mi Cafecito it was a pleasure can't wait for the next visit.
Anytime we're in the area, we stop by for a cup of Café de Oro, which tastes great. The service is excellent, and the pastries are fresh and a nice complement to your coffee. They have a few outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy your order.
Been in Pomona for years but never got to try this place haha. Finally tried it! It's a small coffee shop in the corner, plenty of parking around. There's a few seating inside the shop, and a few more outside at the patio. Cute shop area! I ordered a latte de olla, which the drinks are honestly pretty pricey to begin with. It was $8 for a 16 oz already, but I feel like the drink would be more reasonable as $6. Although, it was my first time trying it, so why not. Service was quick and efficient, which it didn't take too long for me to receive. First few sips of the drink and it's pretty good! I really enjoyed the cinnamon sweetness to it. The coffee strength isn't too strong, but pretty decent.
I was meeting a friend near Downtown Pomona and came across this cute cafe. Friendly staff. Great service. They have great merch! They have limited small tables outside not inside. Ordered: Iced Almond Milk Sabor a Mi Vegan Chocfudge Cookie I am not a coffee drinker, but I enjoyed my Iced coffee drink. It is roasted medium with semi-sweet chocolate flavor with Piloncillo.
Mi Cafecito The sweetest little coffee shop in Pomona! OMG - this is my 2nd time here and every time I just want to buy everything lol! Cutest decor and cups! The coffee is always delicious and consistent flavor. I had the cafe de la olla latte, not too sweet. We also tried the mazapan and mocha mexicano. Quick service and kind staff. They even designed leaves in our coffee. Love that they have an outdoor area to sit and relax while playing nostalgic Mexican music. Convenient parking as well. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. They do open and close early fyi. Perfect coffee date for a Saturday family trip!
Am I blind or does the seasonal menu not state the price of this drink. There are 3 sizes. I got the medium size. I think 12oz...I might be wrong. But, it was $9.00. I ordered it without asking the price, dumb move on my part, b/c when I found out, I was too prideful to tell them "Please remove it from my order". I also ordered a pastry, none of them are labeled and they don't have the price either. :( I didn't take a picture of that. 1 pastry and 1 drink cost me a total of $17.--! Respectfully, the "$$" should change to "$$$". Hmmm I did like the drink, would not pay $9.00 for it, but the strawberries are local! So honestly great!!! If you are well off, have at it. I have very mixed feelings, I feel like I'm in a situationship with this café. I felt screwed, but then they told me they loved me and bought me roses. I only come here once a year, and I'm always confused when I leave. That's why I left it two stars, I just can't help it, I wish the price was clearly labeled on everything and the pastries were also clearly named. BUT! I do think it IS worth the visit. Shout out to the Saucier, you did good. :)
We were at this coffee spot to grab some caffeine while exploring the area. The inside is minimalist and clean, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our coffees were strong.
Easy to order, items are yummy and well explained. The aesthetics of the place are modern and yet traditional true to its surroundings and clientele. I take my nine year old for hot chocolate or for work breaks on my own.

I love this little coffee shop. Admittedly its about 19 minutes out of my town its still totally worth a visit. I odered a mazapan latte half sweet with oat milk and it smacked. Its the kinda spot where people still open doors for you, the staff is so friendly, and if your drink tastes longer than Starbucks its because its going to be worth it. Also nada q ver con Starbucks this place its worlds better. Anyway my quad shot latte was 8 bucks plus tip. So ten. But pls tip imagine if everyone just threw a buck in daily. And homies be honest if you can afford to hv ur coffee out you can afford to tip. I love it here, its cute, not my first visit or last come by. read more

It was my first time here and I absolutely enjoyed my iced latte de olla. When you first walk into this small coffee shop, you can immediately smell the coffee. Wait time is what you expect from a small coffee shop. Overall good considering the price and all. read more

I got their cafe de ollo (iced) and it was so good! I usually don't like cinnamon based coffees or anything cinnamon (that's just a me thing though), but their syrup was smooth, just sweet enough, and they have vegan alternative milk (i got oat). i highly recommend this cute and friendly cafe in downtown pomona :) read more
My friend and I planned to meet here to hash out a university project for our club! We actually met here on a rainy day while it was pouring out. (They are open during quarantine by the way)! When we arrived, luckily there were some places to sit along with charging stations for us to work. The tables are a little small to put our laptop on though, haha! So we used a stool put our lattes and food. The lattes are put in a delicate and beautiful cup and it honestly makes the experience more enjoyable. When I think of this cafe, I think of their signature cups of course! We both got a hazelnut latte and I got a small baked good since I was extra hungry. Came here because I seen all the great reviews LITERALLY! Was in Pomona and stopped by to expect a really good coffee. The coffee was good but it was very watered down and the whip cream was not it .... As you can see in the pic. Will I be coming back i don't know. read more
I would say the coffee wasn't too bad. The customer service was so so and the coffee was so so. I ordered the cafe de la olla cold brew it was pretty good but then it had a bitter taste at the end. The customer service was a little bitter too, they didn't seem too excited. Coming all the way from San Diego, would I come back? I don't know? At least I can say I tried it and it was ok. Half and Half was very distinctly sour. Spoiled dairy made the higher quality coffee taste worse than instant. Disgusted I would've rejected it and asked for my money back but didn't taste it until I left and was set to catch my train. Service was pleasant maybe try if you have extra time to spare. read more

Easy to find. The aesthetic is simple, elevated and inviting. There was a bit of a line, however my drink didn't take forever. They definitely work fast. I had the dulce de leche hot with almond milk and it was the best! I tried to save some for my husband to try it, but he'll need to get his own. read more

Had low expectations for this place, but I was proven wrong. The Latte De Olla was a 10/10. As someone who cannot drink dairy, I'm happy to know they have many dairy alternatives. Small coffee shop with authentic coffee. read more
Located on the corner. Plenty of parking. A small cafe with limited outside seating . I had the single origin cold brew and my wife had the frozen horchata. She's a big fan of horchata and she said it was great! Cold brew was solid. They have some pastries. I got the empanada and it was very fresh and delicious! I loved my visit to this coffee shop. I felt comfortable and at-home because of the extremely friendly staff. They had smiles on their faces and gave great suggestions to my order. I miss it already! The baristas were extremely helpful as this was our first time at this establishment. We ordered the Latte De Olla and it was delicious. It wasn't overpowering with flavors or overly sweet and you could enjoy the taste of coffee. We had the pistachio croissant which was also very good. It was a sweet yummy pastry. read more
This has been one of my favorite small, independently owned coffee shops for years. The gansito blended coffee, that was served seasonally from August to October is what brought me back repeatedly. This year that drink was not on the menu. They did a remodel recently, and I'm bummed by the new look- while it's cleaner, the new look lost the vibe that was there before. And the prices went up (but everything is lately). My favorite drinks are the cafe de olla latte and the tres leches latte. You can get them hot, iced or blended. The old menu that was up before the remodel was a little more user friendly. The shop itself is really small, but there is plenty of parking. The staff/baristas have always been the shining stars. Great place. The coffee was good, but the hot chocolate Mexicana was definitely the star. Tasty guava and cheese pastry. Good service. It's a bit small place, so except a wait outside if it gets busy inside. Prices are reasonable. Their Latin influenced coffees/lattes are so delicious. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to upgrade from their typical Starbucks coffee! read more

Omgssssh this place is amazing! Their workers are all so sweet and helpful! It's been a long time since I've been back here! I wanted to order a gift card for my friends bday and they had one left! I got lucky! Hehe! I ordered their oatmilk horchata blended drink with whipped cream and caramel on top! Yum yum! I usually don't get oatmilk but it was delicious! We stopped by here waiting for an appointment. The coffee shop was so cute! I don't drink coffee, so the menu seemed to have nothing for me. I went up to the counter to ask my dumb question "hi. What does your coffee shop sell that doesn't have coffee?" But they were so sweet about it! They recommended some iced tea they had, and I ended up going with the strawberry kiwi ice tea. It's such a pretty color! Totally Instagram-able! I think it didn't have a strong strawberry taste, but balancing tea flavors can be tough like that. Not mad! Perhaps they should have a small signage with their iced teas, just in case! My partner got the hot horchata latte (event though it was 85 degrees out...) he loved it! Said it was light, tastes like horchata and not too heavy in the coffee taste. He said it was perfect and recommends it to anyone. The barista even worked some latte art on it! Total surprise, I think he was practicing, but we appreciated it all the same. Would totally recommend this place. read more

Ok so I've been back a few times and YES they have normal coffee. It's good too! Also had someone else get me a specialty drink and it wired me clean and good for 5 hours. Nice job on the shots. I was a little harsh with my first review( I expected Mexican Morrisey to show up) and now see why people like this place. I myself still prefer my organic French press at home (quality control, taste and saves a grip of money) but this is now my go to place if I'm in town , don't have coffee and need a pick me up. The workers there are also very nice once they get to know you and that means a lot. Still sort of hipster out ( the dirty beard look is getting old peeps ) but all of DT Pomona is turning into hipster town so it's not their fault. So go for good coffee and nice service if you need a jolt every once in a while. read more
Mi Cafecito Coffee is probably my favorite coffee shop to visit within the area I live at and I do feel very lucky to be living close to it. The staff here is always friendly and I'm really a big fan of the coffee shop's sweeter, richer and slightly more expensive ($5) drinks like the smooooth mocha mexicano (that chocolate drizzle!) and the iced hazelnut expresso. The grainier Masapan is also worth trying and the pastries here are delicious and fairly large...I really can't get enough of the guava cheese. Though the small shop is located within a corner of Old Town Pomona that is easy to miss, I really urge anyone going by the area to stop by. The staff here is very friendly and street parking is easy to find. Mi Cafecito also seems to be more civically aware than most coffee shops so I think its existence is one that really benefits its community. If they want a coffee menu that will really provide the kick you need to start off your day, satisfy a sweet tooth, or be a great companion to you while you read or study, you can't go wrong with Mi Cafecito. read more

This place is so cute and delicious! In town for the holidays to visit my family and they are nearby. Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try this morning. Tons of free, 2 hour parking on the street. Prices are reasonable and coffee is delicious! Love that you can basically make your own flavored latte, whether it be hot, iced, or blended! I ordered the tres leches latte with just one shot (typically comes with 2!) and the hubby got the mocha mexicano. I also got the guava and cheese pastry. Paid ~$13 for two drinks and a pastry. A little pricey but you can definitely tell the quality in the drinks! Place is cute and the theme is super cute! A hispanic kick to coffee. Love it! Place could be a little bigger as there weren't too many seats. Looks like a place that people just come and go. Lucky for the hubby and I, we came here to work so there was room for both of us. Will definitely come back soon for the lattes!! read more

I love this coffee shop because is all about uniting the community! Atmosphere: 5/5 They have such a beautiful aesthetic, that reminds me of my time in Guanajuato(beautiful place to go btw, after covid of course). Coffee: 5/5 Every drink I get here has a unique Mexican flavor from mazapán(sweet peanut butter taste) to tres leches In the picture I have a Mocha Mexicano, great balance of chocolate and their coffee. I recommend their cafe de olla but get there early it sells out fast! They also have delicious pastries like orejas and other pan dulce. These would be great with your coffee Service: 5/5 Every time I go all staff is very helpful and sweet. Ask them anything and they'll recommend something you'll love. read more

Are you out of horchata? I'm no longer seeming any horchata items on the menu online. It has been like this for 3 weeks now

Yes they do, ask for the key at the counter.
Any vegan pastries/conchas?
I know they have a vegetarian burrito, but I am not sure about the pastries being vegan, I tried numerous pastries and they have dairy ingredients
What is the Cafe de Olla?
Cafe de olla is a traditional Mexican coffee with cinnamon, cloves and pilancillo, we got an iced one its actually very good.
Are breakfast burritos available all day?
Like mentioned. They are available all day but they do sell out since we get them from a vendor (Subs and Spuds in Riverside)
