I love their oat milk lattes and I've literally brought my partner here from as far as Irvine in the past JUST to get a latte because they're so good. The frappe version, the hot version, the iced version, doesn't matter all are delicious. They do coffee right here and they know how to make coffee without dairy milk THE BEST coffee I've EVER had and let me tell you, I need coffee to function. As someone who is clinically tired all the time, I kid not, this coffee is life blood during what felt like long, soul sucking, work days managing the seemingly endless incompetence of baby boomers. I've been following them on instagram for awhile and never knew quite where they were, but yesterday after a great record dig over at Glass House, there they were right under my nose. I ended up getting the cajeta cafecito and it was to DIE FOR. and the extra touch with the decorative heart foam was so cute! I come to Pomona often and Mi Cafecito has been a saving grace for days where I am in town for a long time. This small coffee shop is tucked away on South Main right off of 2nd street. I've gone in several times to grab large orders for people at my aerial studio and the staff has been helpful and courteous every single time- even when I've ordered about 6 drinks at once. They truly have outstanding customer service! My only (small) gripe is that their regular cups of coffee- americanos- are a bit on the pricy side when compared to other coffee shops I've been to fairly close by. Overall, this is a great coffee shop in the downtown Pomona area and is definitely worth checking out! read more

This place is charming and adorable. The space is brightly lit and has a really warm, welcoming vibe. Really enjoyed the area around it too - it seems there's an art community here and then of course the train station - cute. The Tres Leches cake was great - really generous serving, soft cake, drenched in condensed milk and a thin layer of caramel. The Iced Cafecito however, was underwhelming. Their signature drink should stand out but it didn't quite do that. It wasn't too sweet, but there was more milk than espresso. It needed more espresso and more spice. Will definitely come again, but plan on sticking to a simple Iced Americano and another Mexican dessert next time. read more

Mi Cafecito Coffee is a coffee shop with Mexican flair. They serve traditional coffee flavors along with some special flavors like Tres Leches, Horchata, Masapan, Mexican Mocha, and Cajeta to name a few. It's located in the corner south of the Metrolink tracks in Pomona. I was greeted upon entry along with a pause of silence. I didn't really know what to order so I asked for their recommendations. The barista asked what I normally like in coffee. I told her I like chocolate and she recommended the Mexican Mocha. She asked if I wanted hot, iced, or frozen and if I wanted a regular or large size. I decided to go with the Frozen Mexican Mocha regular size. The Frozen Mexican Mocha arrived within a few minutes. It was perfectly blended with a smooth and creamy consistency. It was very rich in mocha flavor along with hints of spice and nutmeg. Wonderfully crafted coffee drink. Two people came in afterwards and they were asked if it was their first time. It was my first time as well but I wasn't asked that. I thought that was a little inconsistent there. The coffee shop is small but still spacious. The decor is cozy and heartwarming giving off the feel of a family run shop. The seating area consists of bar tables and backless metal barstools so it's definitely not meant to be seated for long periods of time. There's also some seating outside the shop. The Frozen Mexican Mocha was splendid. Will be back for another visit to try more of their drinks. read more

I ordered a iced tres leche and I would probably give it a 4.5. My first sip without stirring it just straight up tasted like milk. After mixing it, it was a heavenly taste of milk, coffee, and a hint of cinnamon? I thought this was a pretty unique drink you probably won't be able to find anywhere. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and tables are small but it's nice that they have outdoor seating as well. This was my second time here. Since I fast in the mornings, I can only have black coffee. Without milk and sugar, the quality has to be really high for me to enjoy the taste. The patient guy helping me decide what to order suggested a classic drip coffee..and it was delicious! Enjoyed every drop and it was less than $3. Friends I went with also enjoyed their cafe de ollas :) The only thing was they were out of the vegan an dulce, which my friend would have ordered. :/ Love this place though..and will def be glad to support this small local business again. read more

I LOVE this coffee shop, it is actually my favorite coffee place and here is why... 1. They have a variety of unique flavored drinks and I have enjoyed every single one that I have tried. 2. Even if you are not feeling a sweet/flavored drink, they use high quality espresso beans so if you just want a plain latte it will still taste amazing. 3. Every staff member that I have interacted with is kind and welcoming, I have never had an unpleasant customer service experience here. 4. They have really good pastries that they get from a local panaderia (bakery), my favorites are the guava cheese empanadas and the mini conchas. 5. They are conveniently located nearby a lot of cool shops in downtown, such as the record store and thrift stores, so it's nice to pick up some coffee and stroll around the area from time to time. I'm sad to update my previous review negatively, but Cafecito just isn't what it used to be as far as customer service goes. It just feels like customers aren't prioritized. I can't tell you how many times I've stood at the register unacknowledged, waiting for someone to help me while the baristas are just socializing behind the counter. This happens whether they're busy (which is normally the case) or slow. Then it takes a painstakingly long time to even get your drinks, and sometimes the people who got there after you will get their drinks first which is also frustrating. For the most part the drinks are still good, but there's been a time or two where the order has been incorrect, and I dread having to wait additional time for them to fix it. Recently I used their online ordering in hopes to save time, and once my order was placed it said it'll be ready in 15 mins. It took me about 20 mins to get there, and there was no one in line, so I walked up and said I had an online order. They responded "oh okay we'll start on it right now" then took another 10 minutes to make 2 drinks! We've started coming here less and less because it's always something. There are other reviews that say the same, so it's a bummer that it seems like the feedback isn't being taken into consideration. I will say that if you are just in the mood for a leisurely coffee shop visit and have nowhere else to be, then I suppose the experience will be a fine one. Iced Lattes are pretty average . Nothing I haven't already have had. I got a recommended drink from the barista, being that I am a first timer. I did ask for less sweet, because I rather taste the coffee rather than the sugar. My iced latte was rather too milky. $5.25 for a regular iced latte is pretty steep, considering their sizes. I needed a quick coffee break while in the area and found this place. Its located in downtown Pomona and I parked off on the street with no problems. It's an adorable little place with both indoor and outdoor seating. I wanted to try something different and sweet, and ordered the horchata latte. Needless to say, it came out perfect! Customer service here was outstanding. Both of the staff working here were very friendly. My only complaint is that if you get a "for here" cup although it is cute looking you pay more for less coffee. I'd just order to go and get a large you get more bang for your buck. I love this place! The drinks are fantastic, the employees are all super nice and friendly, and parking is a breeze! This place has the best Mexican Mocha I've ever had in my life. I come here at least once a week to satisfy my Mexican Mocha cravings (which only started after I visited here!) The coffee shop is also super cute. The signs inside are aesthetic. They also seem to offer various local items for sale too, including their own coffee beans. While they have the classic menu items you'd find in a coffee shop, they also have their own unique drinks you don't normally see, such as the Mexican Mocha, Cafe de Olla, etc. I love how when I order online too, they don't just leave my drink sitting around, getting cold while I slowly mosey over. All the other coffee shops I've visited would just make it and leave it on the counter. If you're in Pomona, this place is a must-visit. read more

I'm ashamed to say that this place has been just a short drive away from my house this whole time, and I've been driving to LA for good coffee. Like...why don't more people talk about this place?! Anyway, the coffee is the some of the highest quality you can find, and the baristas really know what they're doing, so you're bound to get the perfect cup every time. The menu is small, but has the perfect amount of variety and you can get your coffee every which way, tailored to your tastes. Cold Brew is the star here, but anything you order will be on point, and their affogato is the perfect mix between creaminess and rich coffee flavor. Their frozen blended drinks are pretty amazeballs, too. I wish they were just a bit thicker in consistency, but the balance between sweetness and coffee is darn-near perfect. And the flavors vary from Horchata to Tres Leches, Mexican Mocha to Hazelnut and Caramel. So pick your diet-busting poison. And if you're feeling like some sweet Mexican treats like pastries and pastelitos, (fruit-filled cakes), or paninis and flan, you're in luck because they have that, too. I thought i had reviewed this place a while back. Come here regularly for their tres leches latte. Have had their other coffees but i only keep coming for their secret weapon of a cake inspired latte without the frosting smashed on your face after the fam traditionally finds a way to squish half a cake on your face to embrace the day of your birth. Who knows the origin of this silly tradition but i know this was the first place I've ever tried this latte. Will def wake you up and invigorate your senses for the day.
