    Chimichanga

We tried this restaurant for lunch and ordered the chimichanga and tacos. The food took a little while to arrive, but both dishes turned out to be delicious and worth the wait.

This was one of the better Mexican restaurants we've had in Maryland. Walking in, we had high hopes that this would be good, and they had so many options on the menu. We tried enchiladas, tacos, elote, and ceviche- definitely more than we could finish. Everything was good, but the ceviche only came with one tostada and we got charged for additional. Overall, we'd come back and order less!

We just love this place. Have not had bad food. Very consistent. Adding more photos of great food.

You want the birria quesadilla - it's a sauce lover's paradise. Food comes out quick and served hot. The portion sizes are amazing too! The photo is only half of what we got and was perfect to share for two. Will have to come back when we're in the area!

This is one of a kind restaurant. We stopped by here after a long day in Ocean City, MD and were looking for an authentic Mexican food and this popped up on our list. The food was really good from price to portion of serving. We had a feast and we enjoyed every bite of it. Also their guacamole is freshly made, "LITERALLY", when we ordered it, we saw our server making it on the side. The staff were all welcoming, we had a celebrant in the group and when they found out at the end of our meal a pack of staff approached us with dessert and a big hat singing happy birthday. SO FUN! The ambiance was uplifting. This restaurant accommodates small to large groups comfortably.

Oh this place is just straight up GOOD no nonsense delicious grub! We came into the restaurant for the first time and the food was 100% better. We usually order out from here. Don't bother. Do yourself a favor. Walk in, enjoy the atmosphere, the music, the energy. Awesome service. Mouth watering aromas. It was packed on a Monday night... that says a lot. Fantastic service. My recommendations are the cheese pupusas and the Texano Fajitas. It's enough for three.the vegetables are roasted to perfection. Scoop everything up with a piping hot tortilla. Chips and salsa weren't that great but still, it's 5 stars!

Phenomenal food. Amazing flavors. I ordered the chicken and cheese papusas, never had them before, and was blown away. Also ordered the Burritto Loco, but I should have stopped at the papusas, as I was too full to really do anything to the burrito. Oh well, dinner and lunch tomorrow I guess.

This place is Hudson off Solomon Road in Annapolis MD. From the outside of the small shopping mall that currently is going through substantial renovations including the parking lot you would assume that all the shops are closed but the windows are just tinted and extremely dark. There is no bar to sit at which took me off guard. Very good happy hour options that consists of more traditional Mexican dishes rather than your basic tacos and quesadillas. It was extremely quiet but I was also there early at 4pm so who knows maybe it gets lively.

I have been here twice recently for lunch dates with my son. He loves their kid burrito with beans, rice and cheese also comes with fries. I have had their pupusas and they are amazing. The order comes with two as well as cabbage and tomato sauce. Two were very filling for me. The second time came I had the enchiladas suizas. They are filled with chicken and the tomatillo sauce is perfect and not spicy. Every time I have come the staff have been very welcoming and the place is clean.

    Empanadas

Small, mom and pop spot. Very intimate and traditional decor. Service was good. We were consistently checked on. The food came out really fast. The empanadas were bland. I didn't like them at all. The chorizo burrito I had was really good! I would get that again. The pasta also lacked flavor. It was missing something. Maybe tajin, It just needed some sort of seasoning to make It better. The margarita was refreshing, hard to drink because the fruit kept getting caught in the straw. I also should have gotten an extra shot with it. They have an elaborate menu so I'll probably return to try something else.

We started with chips and salsa, and they were excellent. The salsa wasn't overly spicy, just full of great flavor, and the chips were fresh and crisp--definitely a strong start to the meal. My wife ordered the chicken chimichanga. It was quite different from what we usually get at the Mexican spots we frequent--it was one large chimichanga served with a small salad, whereas we're used to getting two smaller ones with rice and beans, which we usually share. Still, it was tasty and satisfying in its own unique way. I ordered the Chicharrón en Salsa Verde--crispy pork and onions in a green tomato sauce, topped with cilantro and served with rice and warm flour tortillas. It had great flavor and the pork had a nice texture--crisp but not dry. Our friends ordered a variety of dishes, including: Chile en Nogada - a stuffed poblano pepper with seasoned ground beef, covered in a chilled almond and walnut nogada sauce, topped with pomegranate seeds and served with rice. It was rich, colorful, and very flavorful. A beautiful dish with red and yellow sauces and a white cream swirl--unfortunately I can't recall the name, but it was as good as it looked. Six tacos with assorted meats--each one was fantastic. The flavors were bold and fresh. To drink, most of us had margaritas, and you could tell they use fresh ingredients--these were excellent and not overly sweet like some places serve them. Service was top-notch from start to finish--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The only disappointing part of the evening came at the end, when we learned that the restaurant will be closing in about a month. The building is being torn down, possibly for high-rise condos. The staff doesn't know if or where they'll reopen. It's a real shame, especially in an area that's already struggling with traffic and congestion. More homes, fewer gems like this. I just wish we had discovered Sin Fronteras Café sooner. Hopefully they find a new home nearby, and we'll definitely try to come back before they close for good.
