My wife and I decided to try a different Mexican place for dinner, early on a Tuesday. Early - 4:00 pm. I'm officially old. Naturally, the dining room was empty, except for one table of three guys finishing their lunch. We were seated in a booth and given salsa and chips. The salsa was served warm - a new experience for me. It was good, a little on the spicy side, which I like. The chips? I think they were out of a bag, but they were OK- not a deal breaker. Next we ordered our drinks. My wife got a Skinny Margarita that she said was just OK. I ordered a regular Margarita off the Happy Hour menu. It's a huge drink for only $4.99 and the Happy Hour runs from 2:00 to 7:00, so who doesn't like that? The food. My wife had the Burrito Clasico. You can choose your meat and she went with chicken. It's a 12" flour tortilla filled with rice, fried black beans, and Monterey Jack cheese served with Pico de Gallo and guacamole. She could barely finish half of this monster. I had the Enchiladas Suizas. Three soft corn tortillas stuffed with cheese, choice of meat (I had beef), topped with tomatillo sauce, Mexican crema (whatever that is) and melted Oaxaca cheese. It came with a plate, yes a plate, of rice and beans. There was no way I was going to finish this giant pile of food - and I'm a pig! Both of us really enjoyed our entrees. If you leave this place hungry, God help you. I immediately wanted to curl up and take a nap. The service wasn't bad. A little slow getting the drinks, but everything else was timed well. With the 20% tip, I dropped $55. Not too bad for 3 drinks and two huge meals. They recently renovated, so I've heard. The exterior of the restaurant looks a little shabby, but don't let that deter you. The interior is well done and clean. Give Mi Lindo a try! read more

My husband and I are from the West Coast and are use to really good Mexican food. We have had a hard time finding good Mexican food here so it was nice finally finding a great place! The food was great and the margarita was great. The employees wore masks and gloves and the tables were very far apart. Amazing Place. When you pull up It is a little suspicious. But go right in. They bring you water. It is cute in the bottle. Then i ordered a pina colada. It was so good! It also comes in a pineapple!! They brought chips and salsa. The only thing i didn't like is that the salsa is warm. It slightly taste like marina. The chips are nice and thin. The best things about this place are that the Pina Coladas are AMAZING and they can turn any meat dish into a vegetarian dish! Other than that, their food is pretty mediocre. I'll elaborate on the above and dive into the details. The Pina Colada (as well as their Cancun Margarita) come in a freshly hollowed out Pineapple! Now that is reason enough to come here. For $10, it's definitely a worthy cocktail! I've had plenty of Pina Coladas since I've been of age and this is by far the coolest one I've ever had and it tasted great! The 2nd thing that I liked about this place is that I could get a vegetarian chimichanga. I love the idea of a fried burrito, but it's not so often you come across a Mexican place that will make you a vegetarian one, so I was pretty excited (especially because their vegetarian menu consisted of 3 measly items I did not want). Now onto what wasn't so great: 1. Their salsa came out warm/hot. I'm used to cold salsa, so maybe it was just a shock to me. 2 of my friends with us seemed to kind of like it like that, but my fiancé and I never got used to it and the flavor wasn't all that great either. I would normally order queso, but theirs come with chorizo. So we ended up ordering Guacamole which was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had (I like mine spicier), but still pretty decent and much better than the salsa. 2. My second issue was my chimichanga, it was basically a burrito because it was not crispy at all. It may have been the verde sauce they covered it in that made it more soggy, but I think it's common to have a chimi covered in sauce and it should still be a bit crunchy. My fiancé is on the hunt for the best chimichanga and orders this at every restaurant, and he agreed that it tasted more like a burrito. But that also may be because normal chimichangas normally just contain meat and the beans and rice and stuff are on the outside (but they put it inside here), so he felt like there were too many beans in his burrito and didn't think his stated great at all. I, on the other hand, love all this stuff inside my burritos generally. Even if this were a burrito and not a chimi, it was still pretty mediocre and I've definitely had better. For the reasons above, I'd say this place was okay. If I'm looking to just go somewhere to drink, I'd love to come here for their Pina Colada! But definitely during happy hour when it's cheaper so I can order more than one. Food-wise, however, there are better Mexican food restaurants out there. read more

Service was great and quick. From the time we ordered to the time we got our food, it took about 15 mins. I ordered the Fajitaco and my boyfriend ordered the Despertador. We went there for the first time yesterday and had a late lunch. We were both impressed with the food and the smells coming from the kitchen that hit you when you walk in. The service was quick and attentive, but there were not many customers, so that might not be much of a yardstick. The salsa is served warm, which opens up some new flavor dimensions, and the extra sauces and toppings they brought to the table with our entrees were delicious. We had ice tea (too early for a marg or beer), but noted that the drinks menu was fairly extensive. We will have to go back and try a marg. We ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and carne asada tacos. The mole was VERY good, and the only better I recall is from the Red Iguana in Salt Lake City, the best we've ever had in a restaurant. The tacos were also done very well, although we wished there had been more flavor to the meat, but the tortillas and trimmings were delicious! As someone who travels to and from southern California regularly, I sometimes find myself craving a legit California style burrito. I took a chance on Mi Lindo after doing a quick search on Doordash, and after looking at reviews here on Yelp, and I'm glad I did. The flavors were on point: a little heat, not overly salty, and wonderful freshness from the pico de gallo and guacamole. The carne asada had great texture and the fries in the burrito appeared to be hand-cut. The fries could have been crispier, but I know they more than likely softened due to the travel time from the restaurant to my house. Even the refried black beans and spanish rice were excellent! The authenticity to socal style Mexican food was a welcome departure from other options in the Annapolis area. Now, I'm giving this restaurant a 4/5 because the burrito wasn't wrapped tightly enough and the tin foil was barely holding on for dear life. This made it fall apart pretty much immediately (and allowed the juices from the steak and pico and veggies to leak through and make it incredibly soggy). Burritos, by design, should be the ultimate portable food and that's where this experience fell short. But like I said: the flavors were impeccable. A Mexican restaurant with actual legit Mexicans (Latinos) dinning in large groves throughout our dinner. It was real. The food was on point. The food dishes lived up to the hype and the atmosphere was straight out of a small restaurant in the middle of Mexico. I had the mix fajitas and it was delicious. Plenty of meat chicken and steak. I thought this was a great place. The atmosphere reminded me of Mexico. The food tasted delicious. The tres leches was okay, but a little stale and overpriced at $10. The staff were phenomenal. The chips and salsa are always something I look forward to and really enjoy. Mi Lindo Cancun Grill's is spicy and delicious and very different than most of the salsa in the respect that it was almost like an Italian marinara. I ordered a chimichunga which was really good and a big portion. The drinks were inexpensive and we enjoyed beer, a margarita and rum drinks. I like the way it was decorated inside and the waiters were quick with our drinks and food. If you are in the Annapolis area you must give it a try. Favorite Mexican spot! From the drinks to the food everything has always been great! It's a bit of a crowd when going on Sundays so there is a substantial wait, but believe me, it's worth it! It's located in a strip mall type setting off the main highway... the outside is a bit drab but inside is authentic and inviting. Once inside there is music and a tv for your entertainment. They adjust the seating area based off of the number of people in your party, or you can enjoy booth seating. There is no bar, but their drinks are on point! Once seated, you'll be served wanted in a really cute decanter-like bottle. If you order a house drink or soda, it's served in a super tall glass where you may not even need a refill. You'll also get unlimited chips and salsa. Oh and try the house made guac! They make it at your table... Everything is a good value for your money! The customer service is great. Multiple servers come check on you throughout your meal and will get you what you need. I have never heard any of the wait staff say "I'll get your waiter" or "this isn't my table" as I have heard at other restaurants... I love their teamwork and how clean they keep it! Pros: The sauce on the chili relleno was so good and filled half the plate. Not the typical sauce, a little on the sweet side. The chili was kind of hard and I'm used to softer and the filling, I don't know what that was. Not cheesey. It came with black beans and rice, not quite cooked enough. I ordered guacamole. It had a lot of hard chunks in it. Then I noticed them making it at the check out counter. Not a whole lot of mashing going on. The flavor was standard. Cons: Service was off. I had to remind wait people for sour cream, my margarita was the house margarita and didn't come so when the meal came I grabbed someone to get it and it was small and too salty. I hated the hot salsa. Not much flavor. The chips not so good and thin. When I got home I felt like I had a rock in my stomach from the tension of the experience.
