The Cinco de Mayo experience here was great! A little bit of a wait, but well worth it. The Spicy Pineapple Margaritas were outstanding. My favorite dishes so far are the Ceviche Tropical, with a generous portion and just enough sweetness from the mango. Guiso Cantu, spicy salsa ranchera sauce is amazing, not too spicy, just very flavorful, and the beef is so tender. Roasted Shrimp Poblano was to die for; the shrimp was cooked perfectly, and it was very cheesy. I really like the ambiance, clean and uncluttered. The service is always spot on and attentive. Even with a packed house (seating indoors/at the bar/on the outdoor patio), service was quick, and friendly. It feels like the neighborhood spot to go to, and staff make it a really enjoyable experience. The food and drinks were impressive. Been here to many times. Always a good experience food and customer. The place is also awesome. Great place to sit at the bar, great place to watch sports while you eat. We've had salmon, chicken soup, fajitas, enchiladas de Mole, and my favorite the two bite tacos . We've had different waiters and waitresses everyone is professional. They all work hard. So tip them fairly. I've noticed in the past one waiter take care of a big party of 8 or 10 people. Once they were done you can tell they were in a hurry to leave. I guess it was a game between them??? Lastly person to leave leaves the tip. He left $5. REALLY??? I was there before them and after. They were pretty demanding and needy. The waiter was professional from start to finish. Sad to see the customer only leave $5. The kicker. The waiter wasn't mad. I was mad for him. Awesome time here with a large group. The staff were super friendly and helpful with navigating the menu and also making the space more comfortable with re-arranging the table for us. Tried this spot out for the first time after driving by it for several years, and it didn't disappoint. Simple, casual atmosphere on the inside; this is your classic mom and pop Tex mex place. The wife and I were visiting friends in the area and found Mi Luna on Yelp. The ratings were very good, so we met our friends there for dinner. The first thing we noticed was how reasonable the dinner prices were. I ordered chicken fajitas, and the wife ordered cheese enchiladas. Tex Mex is not great in the DFW area. This is one of the better ones we have had. In San Antonio this would be a two star but in Dallas it gets a 3-4 star rating. Food and service was great. Me and my mom went here after our hair appointment, our hair dresser recommended it and she raved about the salsa. We arrived and were seated immediately at a booth. My favorite entree is always sour cream chicken enchiladas BUT....i only like them with white chicken meat and I always ask if they are made with mixed or white meat. if mixed I won't order. I asked our waiter and he said they were white meat. Well not so! They are made with mixed chicken meat. I called the manager over and explained that I needed to return the order.
