    House Margarita on ice

Found this joint on yelp when looking for a new spot to try for cinco de mayo - and it's the best Tex-Mex I've had in a really long time. Even with a packed house (seating indoors/at the bar/on the outdoor patio), service was quick, and friendly. It feels like the neighborhood spot to go to, and staff make it a really enjoyable experience. The food and drinks were impressive. We ordered house margaritas, 1 spicy pineapple marg, 1 'Paul', 1 'Victor's', and 2 flan. We had no complaints! Everything tasted fresh and had really great flavors. There are a ton of Tex-Mex spots in DFW, but the combo here was so enjoyable. Excited to be back!

Awesome time here with a large group. The staff were super friendly and helpful with navigating the menu and also making the space more comfortable with re-arranging the table for us. We all ordered a variety of items off the menu and they all came visually appealing and delicious! There is a private parking lot as well as bathroom for all patrons. We will definitely be coming by again for authentic Tex-Mex dishes!

Tried this spot out for the first time after driving by it for several years, and it didn't disappoint. Simple, casual atmosphere on the inside; this is your classic mom and pop Tex mex place. The chips, salsa, and black bean dip were amazing. Queso blanco was exceptional. Our waiter was excellent and provided great service. We got the Birria tacos and the brisket enchiladas, both of which were extremely good. This place does not look like it's as good as it is, but it's definitely worth a shot. We'll be back!

Absolutely just had the best chilaquiles I've ever eaten! Mi Luna in Prosper serves chilaquiles verde con pollo. Plated with/ fresh sliced avocado, fried eggs over easy, refried beans and cheese topped potatoes. The weekend brunch menu as well as the regular menu have so many excellent choices. Service and atmosphere are exceptional as well. I highly recommend sitting in Oscar, Victor or Juan's area for a VIP experience.

Tex Mex is not great in the DFW area. This is one of the better ones we have had. In San Antonio this would be a two star but in Dallas it gets a 3-4 star rating. Food and service was great. They served individual beans and salsa with the chips to avoid any potential fights. I had the Carmen plate and my wife had the birria tacos. Both plates did not come with rice and beans but that was obvious in the menu. The food was plentiful and we will definitely be back.

Went for happy hour and man by dinner time this place was poppin!! Happy hour on Friday is from 10-6p and drinks are half price! I enjoyed sitting on the patio, it was nice. I had shrimp tacos with a strawberry/mango margarita and Dos X-loved my dinner including the chips/salsa and beans. Thank you to our waiter, but I did feel that he was ready for us to hurry towards the end of our dinner. He was very sweet though and I appreciated the service and good food.

Couple the ambiance with the outstanding service and the tasty food and it's easy to see why this is one of my favorite places to go to. Today, had the 2 dips board, prohibition chicken, and Juan's tostada. The 2 dips board is a nice veggie board with hummus and tzatziki. Prohibition chicken is deliciously seasoned fired chicken. The tostada was the biggest pleasant surprise of the group. So many flavors dancing on the tongue with each bite. Strongly recommend coming out to this place!

I was surprised, but they offer Happy Hour even on weekends! Both my hubby and I chose from the Happy Hour menu - a Pinot Noir for him and the Chardonnay for me. I was bummed, the Chard wasn't great and I wasn't planning on having more than a glass. Next time I'd skip the Happy Hour wines and just choose a better wine off the menu. Food. We came here for date night and I was starving. I was surprised to see such a small and limited menu. I think they're limiting themselves by only offering sharable items or single items at such a steep price. I started with Juan's Tostada for myself and my hubby chose the Notorious P.I.G.. The tostada was delicious! Fresh and tasty, but I was still hungry. But for $19 there was no way I was ordering another one. I'm sorry but $40 for two single appetizers is insane, plus I figured I might still be hungry. So instead I ordered the Notorious P.I.G. with no cheese (I'm dairy free). It was good, but not amazing. Half the pizza was burned and the sauce was barely there. As I looked around there was a group of women having a birthday dinner and one other couple who arrived on a date. The couple split a meat + cheese board and left. The birthday party nursed their glasses of wine the entire time we were there. For my disappointment wine, my hubby's two glasses of wine, our two pizzas and my tostada we spent $87 before tip. For a mediocre offering that was insanely expensive. My girlfriends meet up frequently to catch up and I would suggest this place if it was half the cost, but we can go to plenty of places nearby and get a better glass of wine with more affordable food options instead. I don't forsee Wine a Little lasting long in this new development.

The selection is thoughtfully curated, with robust flavors and quality ingredients. My entire ticket was under $80 which I thought was a great value for the quality and experience! And I have to give a special shoutout to my waiter, CJ! He was such a delight and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and the flavors. One thing I've noticed at many restaurants is that the waitstaff sometimes doesn't seem to actually eat where they work , so I really appreciate when a server can genuinely speak on the food and make recommendations with confidence. I'll definitely be visiting again! Great food, great service, and a beautiful ambiance.

We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.
