Never even came and refilled my coffee after paying 5.00 for one cup and no refill. This is a very cute little cafe that has great food and even better service. We were on the 101 in the pouring rain and just needed a break. We checked the reviews for great Mexican food and Mi Pueblo came up. The food was so good and cooked to order. I had chicken fajita omelette with house potatoes. Missing seasoning but it was ok. Gf had caldo de res, the flavor was good but the veggies were hard. She had to wait 20 Minutes to get cooked veggies and by then soup was cold and meat was gone. They don't have chips and salsa which was a first for a Mexican restaurant. Wish I didn't have to even leave 1 star cause they don't deserve one at all . I payed almost $17 for what I thought was a carne Asada burrito got all the way home just to discover that it was a bean and rice burrito. Got up took it back no apology instead three of them are in the kitchen staring at me. Didn't come out and asked anything. I told the girl that I had asked for kindness of the burrito and it said I got this burrito. I told her I wanted my money back and I would like to have the manager's number she gave me a nonworking number and says she didn't know the manager's name. I tried to call the number several times and it did not work so I asked her for a working number and she went back to talk to those people that were looking at me and came back and told me that there was nothing else that they can do. They already gave me my money back. There's no manager that I can talk to. I believe they only catered to Hispanics. I seen them making several burritos putting a gang of meat in their burrito, but I just so happened to get a bean and rice burrito for $17 make it make sense and then to not have a manager or anybody that's in charge working is insane to me but again I'm not Hispanic read more

Great food and service. What i liked about this place is that they have cafe de olla! It wasnt too sweet which is how I like my coffee. The ambiance is very laidback and comfy. I ordered the turkey club sandwich and my mom ordered the crepe combo, both were really good. They also have this amazing habanero salsa they give. Delicious and great, friendly service. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! This place is going into my top Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is fresh, authentic and flavorful. The caldo de res was perfect, not fatty and had all the flavors of a home cooking, including fluffy, tasty rice. My chilaquiles were some of the best I've had, and I appreciated that the side of beans had a balanced sprinkle of queso fresco, and not the oily shredded cheese that other places drown food in. Didn't give a 5 because I went another time for dinner and that menu didn't have much selection.
