We had one person who was Gluten Free and they appeared to take care in explaining options as well as answering any questions people had. Drinks were refilled and kept flowing (alcoholic ones). There was a nice crowd, but it wasn't overly busy. I even picked up a Casa Rosa T-shirt as a souvenir after settling in at the bar. The highlight of my visit was Johnny, the bartender. I told him I wanted something sweet with tequila, and he created the perfect drink. I honestly don't know what he made, but it was so good I ordered a second one! We also discovered we're both from Chicago, which made for great conversation and made the experience feel even more welcoming. Johnny recommended the tacos, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. They were fresh and flavorful. Pair those tacos with two amazing tequila drinks, live music from a fantastic band, and my total bill came to under $50. If you're looking for a great lunch spot with good food, excellent drinks, live music, and outstanding service, Casa Rosa is definitely worth a stop. The moment of biting into this absurd creation of humanity is a true realization of what it means to be satisfied, without having to feel any guilt about it.
