Usually like this place. But the last visit July 12th it was like new cooks and staff-not good at all. Do you have new owners as it was totally different. I like this place however the last meal I had SUCKED. I ordered the seafood enchiladas and they were horrible. They too one shrimp and diced it up, placing it t along the enchilada. It was flat because there wasn't anything in it. The second one had some nasty, fishy smelling Tilapia that was like MUSH. HORRIBLE! The tortillas for the enchiladas was hard, tough and almost inedible. Wife had chicken fajitas and the damned things were burnt to a crisp. They were BLACK they were so burnt and so tough you couldn't chew it. I'm not sure what happened here but damn, this was terrible. This needs fixed or we are GONE. read more

Cute decor, rarely crowded...but no tacos al pastor ...say whaaaat? Fajitas were tasty, but pretty basic. And other taco options seem to be limited as well. With about 20 other Mexican food places within a 5 miles radius, you just can't NOT have tacos. read more

Excellent chicken soup. Rich broth, shredded chicken and avocado make this worth a try. Also, they have an excellent starter made from fresh avocados, tomatoes and onions that is marvelous. My husband had the whole fish (I forget the name on the menu), which appeared to be flounder. It comes deep fried with no type of sauce. Being Chinese, we found that odd, but it was tasty. We took most of it home to tart it up ourselves. Very clean place. Good service despite an interesting language barrier. I've been here at least 10 times, and cannot recall ever having a bad meal here. The owner and manager are always very pleasant and friendly. The food might not knock your socks off, but it is solid and a good value. My son loves the orange Mexican rice and refried beans that come with most meals. We've had everything from the burritos to tacos to chimichangas and enchiladas. I love Mexican street tacos, but I don't recall seeing them on the menu. The other day we did a large take-out of five chicken chimichangas. I didn't want any melted Styrofoam, so I asked them if they could package the chimichangas separately. They were very accommodating and actually wrapped each chimichanga in foil and also packed the cheese sauce in small plastic containers. The added bonus was that by packing the cheese sauce separately, we were able to use that as a dipping sauce for the chips also. read more

I am not sure why everyone thinks this is such a good place. If you call tacos filled to the brim with hamburger and sprinkled with a few pieces of cheese good than you haven't had real Mexican food. Enchiladas were not exciting. Our table and another table had to finally summons the waitress to take our orders as we had sat there forever and we were the only two tables there. Waited 45 minutes for food. Our waitress rarely checked on us. Drinks were empty constantly, chips and salsa ran out and weren't refilled. My husband got his food after 45 minutes and then I waited 15 more to get my food. The waitress made up some excise about the kitchen being backed up. However, several patrons that came in after us received their food way before us. Honestly, it was probably just a bad waitress. Nonetheless, the experience was horrible. Of the MANY Mexican restaurants in town, this is definitely our favorite. The staff is friendly and welcoming. But we really enjoy the food. Burrito California, fajita salad, and Alambres are among favorites here beyond the standard tacos and burritos. They allow you to order whole pinto or black beans in place of refried beans, which is a nice option not offered in many Mexican restaurants. For healthy options, I like the Pescado a la Veracruzana and the steamed vegetables with grilled shrimp. read more

Manzanillo is Sango area's best kept secret for Mexican food. Everyone that works there is SO friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Their salsa is delicious, and I would venture to say as far as queso dip in Clarksville, Manzanillo's in the best. My personal favorite thing on the menu are thecrunchy chicken or beef tacos. It sounds so simple, but those crunchy shells are so light and crispy! I crave them all the time. Good choice in the Sango district for Mexican but there are better within minutes drive. We literally live 1 mile down the road so we've eaten here more out of convenience than anything. The food is average, service has always been great. They do not serve margaritas here only beer. The prices are a little higher than some of the others in the area. There's just nothing special about Manzanillo. The entire time I have lived here I never knew they offered a military discount, and I even asked when we first moved here (no). Language barrier hurts them when taking a phone order. We are 2000 miles from the Mexican border so I think they could find someone to answer the phone and take orders that speaks correct or at least good southern English. Salsa sucks!
