Tonight a couple friends and I were looking for good NFL draft pizza, we found this place a mile from my house that delivered. We called and were greeted by a super friendly women who was more than helpful to a couple guys who had never had their pizza. She gave me so many good recommendations we ordered them all. Every single thing we had was excellent. From the pizza to the cheesy garlic bread we were impressed. I'm so excited that this place is so close and delivered absolutely great heavy topping and lots of cheese pizza.. Good pizza, they helped me by giving me plates, red peppers and napkins when I told them I was in a hotel and visiting. They told me they make their own sauce, which is also another plus! They have their crust already pre-made though which is why I gave them 4 out of 5 instead of all 5... This pizza is tasty enough, that if they made their own crust - I know they would have received that other star if they did. I gave my leftovers to some kids in the hotel and they loved it, but all kids love pizza, so grain of salt. This little place is a walk up or call in and order and carry out place. They offer different styles of pizza such as regular crust, Sicilian, or Neopolitan. I went with the purist option of a regular thin crust with just cheese and mushroom, and it was quite delicious. They were not stingy with the cheese, and they sprinkle a little oregano or maybe Italian mix over the top. It's located in a strip next to a neighborhood pub and a laundromat where I happened to be doing some laundry. The folks working the place were very nice, and had even walked down to the laundry when my pizza was ready. They also have strombolis and hot sandwiches on the menu which I will definitely go back and try. read more

I was in town for business for a few days and staying not far from this place. I did a yelp search for pizza and it was close and had decent ratings, so I decided to try it. I drove past it not realizing it was so small tucked away in a small strip mall, and when I turned around and found it, I thought, "This is it???" I was there so might as well try. I placed my order and was told it would be a 30 min wait, which is a good sign, meaning it was busy. It's not a place to go and sit down - it's strictly a take out place. I got my pizza and cheese bread and went back to my hotel to eat. When I opened the pizza box, I was so surprised what I saw! It looked just like the photos on here - a pillow of cheese is what it looked like. Melted cheese covering the entire top - not just sprinkled on, but a layer of cheese. The toppings were extremely plentiful and tasty. I was very impressed and surprised. The cheese bread was very good as well. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area! read more

On a whim I tried a new place for pizza, which has made me want to start a new thing for myself; try as many different pizza places as possible. I get stuck in ruts while eating out but especially with pizza, I have my favorites. Venturing out will make for good experiences (I hope) and if not, at least more reviews! New Village Pizza is located in a strip of stores along N Arlington ave, it was Superbowl Sunday when I ordered my standard, small 3 topping of mushrooms, black olives and pepperoni. The call was for a carry out and I was greeted with a friendly voice, prompt and accurate order taking (he stated my order back to me to make sure). Props for putting that kind of effort and detail into the order but also for making me feel like they wanted my business to return as I was asked if this was my first time ordering from them. 15 min later I had my warm pizza, covered with what was a mountain of cheese and all my toppings, it was delicious. My only feedback would be the crust was a little less crispy than I like it but that was not a drawback. The shop is small but seems efficient and everyone inside was very friendly, I was greeted right away and when leaving the shop they said goodbye using my last name "Come back Mr, Cook!" (Mr Cook is my dad though), this kind of service is worthy of praise and more importantly, future business, thanks for the great pizza and experience. I will return to this spot! read more

This is the second time I had a pizza from here. First time I tasted it I knew I would be ordering again. I worked downtown at the City Market several years ago at Grand Prix Pizza making the best pizzas ever and I have to say, this pizza took me back to those days.
