    Amazing. My relative put me on to Mia's I've been to this location twice but also visited the Woodlands/Spring location. The only difference in taste is the strawberry lemonade I can tell the one in the woodlands location is different and better but other than that I get the same thing every time I go. Chicken fried chicken, potatoes or mac and cheese and green beans. Wish the gravy was over the mashed potatoes as well but overall great price and great food. Nachos is a must everytime we go as a starter!!!!!!

    Mia's Table is a the definition of southern comfort. From the checkered table clothes to the old school decorations, the restaurant feels like a classic brought into the modern era. Their menu is very expansive, having a large selection of fried foods, sandwiches, salads, and more. My personal favorites are the Chicken Fried Chicken and the Turkey Burger. All of their sides are top-notch as well. Make sure you grab a malt - they're the best! Food is always fast, and there's a decent-sized parking lot which is something I always appreciate. Mia's falls short of 5 stars because some items are not as good as others. I can't help but try different dishes at restaurants, especially when there are so many options! But I think Mia's has lost its focus by having a bloated menu. I have not been a big fan of their fried seafood options as they don't have much flavor at all. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was also a bit disappointing. But if you order the right things, you can definitely have a 5 star experience here!

    My sister and I went on Friday and AGAIN today, Sunday. Lol The menu is terrific as it keeps st about covers all food groups! The service was outstanding. There were plenty of seats both inside and outside on a patio and deck. Foodies! The food was excellent! I had the Nashville chicken sandwich which had a delish flavor with a jalapeño cream sauce. Not too spicy just good! I had sweet potato fries. Definitely get those! Today is had the Tortilla soup with a side Taco salad. The soup was great. Sister had a Chicken Fried steak and thought it was yummy. Go, enjoy, and say hello to Jorge. Best manager ever-your team rocks!

    Southern comfort foods. Had our team lunch at the Upper Kirby location. Went on a Friday at 11 am so it wasn't buzzing ... yet. There is a smaller parking lot plus street parking. When you walk in there is a huge menu and there are 3 cashier stands to order at. Once you order you get a buzzer that will randomly vibrate (guy said the system is looking for you) and they will bring your food. There is a stand for ice and drinks. The food gets 3 stars while the service gets 4 stars. Our table ordered a variety of items - chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, burgers, chicken tenders, salad, fried pickles for appetizers and I ordered the fried chicken meal ($17.49) Fried chicken (4/5) - 1/2 chicken so 4 pieces mixed, note: it takes roughly 20 min bc they fry in order so it comes out super hot and crispy - chicken was nice and juicy while the skin was very crispy Mac and cheese side (3/5) - was a bit bland and not enough cheese if that makes sense Creamy corn (3/5) - corn was not all cooked through - expected it to be softer and creamier The service was pretty stellar. Everyone worked as a team. We were a table of 9 and they got us our food quickly and didn't hesitate to get us any condiments,etc that were requested. They also checked on us periodically and cleared the table and brought us boxes at the end. Definitely would return to try some of these other menu items. They got a big busier and seem to do a lot of pick up orders as well. The customers are very diverse because it's affordable.

    I got dinner here tonight with my nephew and although it wasn't a 5 star experience, I will give credit when it's due. I do appreciate cleanliness and how fast the service is but I feel like if you are charging your customers more than $18 on a dinner entree in a fast food/diner-esque restaurant, the food should be higher in quality. My nephew got the cheeseburger with French fries and he said that it was a 8/10. Pretty generous for a picky 12 year old. As for me, I got the chicken fried steak. I was extremely excited for my entree because that's one of my fave southern classic meal and the fact that it was plated pretty nicely did get my hopes up. Unfortunately, my sweet potato fries were raw when bitten into them and the Mac and cheese was disgusting. I don't know what it was - maybe the fact that it came out room temp (Health code violation), the overdone pasta or the fact it just did not taste what it was advertised to be. Other than that, I will say that the chicken fried steak was spectacular and the jalapeño gravy that came with it was so yummy. I'm a sucker for malt milk shakes, so I did order a malt peanut butter shake but my shake did not come with any malt. I was very disappointed by that. Currently, this place is a PASS. But maybe, just maybe on another day with a better attitude and a hearty appetite, I might give this place another try.

    Great food! Super clean, great variety of choices. Just good ole stick to your ribs home style cooking. The cornbread is fabulous!

You will experience the best food and the best service here every single time! Today was the first time I decided to get some food to go. Bradley was an absolute professional. While I was leaving, Johnny Carrabba came out and talked to me for a second. What a nice guy. Full of natural charisma. Reminds me of an old wise guy from casino or Goodfellas. We had a great conversation. I told him how my grandmother was born in Bryan Texas in 1927. He told me about his family that migrated there in 1905. He also mentioned his family had a store on Canal Street. I had no idea. An exceptional person, a legend in the restaurant industry here in Houston, Texas. It was great to meet you today Johnny. Thank you for your professionalism and hospitality and also thank you for serving some of the best food in Houston, Texas! Food: as you can see from all my pictures of the food is simply amazing. The best cornbread in the world. The best pot roast. The best sticky ribs. The best desserts. Everything here is phenomenal. Lunch dinner brunch you cannot go wrong. My friend ordered the key lime pie and enjoyed it, so that seemed to be another solid choice. But back to the real MVP of the visit which was our server, Eric. He made menu suggestions without being pushy, kept my glass full the entire meal, was kind, patient, and anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. That level of service is becoming harder to find, and it definitely elevated the experience. She then text our friends group and said we all had to come together and we did just that. She made reservations in advance as this place is popular thanks to recent Michelin Bib Gourmand awards as well as many other accolades. Walk ins are welcome as well. Our reservation was later in the evening so after a night of bar hopping, we ride shared in which I think is one of the best options as parking is limited here or you have to find street parking in the neighborhood. This place is literally a house turned into a restaurant. Inside is just multiple rooms with a couple of tables. It makes for a unique, intimate dining experience, perfect for a date night. In our case, we were a group of nine so we got patio seating. The patio is spacious and well kept, and if the weather cooperates, a great place to hang. One thing that really stood out to me is the amazing ambience of this place. I was told that the bartenders pick the music for the night from the owners extensive vinyl collection. Once the album is in, they play it in it's entirety. The sound system was systeming and on top of the great company and food, we were totally vibing with the music. Customer service was amazing. Every staff member we came across was so friendly, especially our server. The menu here changes. There are some mainstays, but they like to change things up. Their website shows current menus daily. We were told that family style is the best way to experience this restaurant. I am one of those people that will always listen to the staff and go with their suggestions. Our group went through quite a bit of their menu from apps, entrees and desserts. I loved that our server and staff brought our food out one by one in what they thought was the best progression so we could take a culinary journey. We started off light with their popular Dilly Bread. Best bread I've had in awhile. Next was the Texas Tartare. It was my first ever tartare and it was delicious. We then moved on to Fingerlingin Good which was a crispy potato dish with chili crisp and mascarpone. It was potatoes elevated to the highest level and so so good. Next up was Beer Battered Sweet Tots. I didn't think sweet potatoes could be that good. Our first entree was a vegan dish called the Carroty Kid. I could seriously become a vegan if all dishes tasted like this. It was curried. A bowl of jasmine rice would've made it a complete meal. Next we tried another famous Nobie's dish called Nonno's Pasta. Handmade, perfectly cooked tagliatelle with a delicious bolognese. I wouldn't share this next time. Ok, I will, but it was that good. On to the heavier dishes. First up was the Jamon With Your Bad Self. This came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It was favorite heavy entree. It was high quality, iberico pork steak with shaved brussels and all kinds of other tasty ingredients that when combined made such a tasty bite. We then went to the sea with the Drops of Grouperter. It was good, but not something I would order again. It was a little too smoky for my liking. Our biggest dish that came market priced was the Kick His Ass Seabass. This was a whole fish that was presented beautifully on a platter with all the accouterments to make your own elevated fish tacos. We left no morsel of fish behind. It was absolutely delicious. One of the things this place is really known for is their pies. This was the part I was most excited about. Just like their menu, their pies change up. We got all their offerings that night which they presented on one big platter of goodness. Their main stay and I believe always on the menu is the famous Olive Oil Cake. It's not a pie, but I can see why this is such a popular dessert. I can't even describe it, you just have to try it to understand. The pies we had were the Black Bottom Strawberry Pie, Banana Rum, and the Peanut Butter Pie. I would order all of them again. We all had a difference of opinion on which was the best, but my fave was the Banana Rum. Overall, I was highly impressed with this place and kind of mad at myself for waiting so long to make it here. It had made it's way to the top of my list of favorite restaurants in Houston. Desserts: the Olive Oil Cake was a dream: incredibly moist and tender with vanilla richness and a kiss of lemon. The Black Bottom Pie was not my favorite. I would the salt to be too much and couldn't eat more than 2 bites because of it. Service: warm, gracious, attentive, and efficient. As for ambiance, this is where the restaurant misses the mark for me. It's in an old house, and when we walked in, that's exactly what I smelled: old house. Still, if you're looking for a unique, creative menu that delivers on flavors, add nobie's to your bingo card.

The Brussels were cooked very well and had an excellent crispy texture, but I felt the kung pao vinaigrette lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. Both the red beet hummus and edamame hummus were flavorful and enjoyable. They paired well with the crisp flatbread and even served as a nice accompaniment to some of our less exciting entrées. For my meal, I ordered the marinated artichoke pizza, which unfortunately did not stand out. I had the same issue that I experienced during my previous visit: the crust was simply too thick and chewy. After a few slices, my jaw was genuinely getting tired from all the chewing. It tasted like a slightly elevated version of buttered pasta with just a hint of white wine. There was nothing particularly wrong with it, but it lacked the depth of flavor needed to make it memorable. On a much more positive note, the carrot cake pancakes were easily the star of the meal. I tend to gravitate toward savory breakfasts, but my sister was eager to try them, and I am so glad she did. These were not your typical pancakes. They were thick, fluffy, and incredibly soft in the center. With toppings like maple butter, maple cream, mascarpone whip, candied walnuts, and cardamom sugar, I expected the dish to be overwhelmingly sweet. Surprisingly, everything was balanced quite well. While I cannot imagine finishing an entire plate by myself, anyone with a sweet tooth would absolutely love them. Overall, this restaurant continues to impress me with its atmosphere, service, and a few standout dishes, but the entrées I have tried have not lived up to the hype. If I were to return, I would happily order the hummus and carrot cake pancakes again, but I would probably skip the pizza and pasta in favor of trying something new.

We also enjoyed the pecan ball and chocolate soufflé, and both were outstanding. Between the incredible food, impeccable service, and special attention to our celebration, State of Grace exceeded all expectations. Annabella, our waiter, and the entire staff made the evening feel truly special. Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Houston, and we can't wait to return! Hollywood, va voom and metagorda all similar in taste to each other. The maison salad was delicious. Butter lettuce with the toppings and sauce was just enjoyable. The butter burger sliders were good. Just would like it thicker as it's too much bun. The cookie on the way out was so awesome, I almost went back in to grab another. Gingerbread I think. Avery was a wonderful bartender and kept up with entertaining conversations and was attentive to all service needs. Tried the g4 tequila reposado and it was very easy drinking.
