Discovered this place on accident but I am so happy i did. Peruvian spots are pretty rare in of their own, but a good one is even more rare. The food here us spot in and the portions can definitely feed two per plate. The service was fast, straight forward, and they are respectful. And the overall vibes of the restaurant is fantastic as its clean, relaxing, and just enjoyable. Their lomo saltado is fantastic and their chica morada absolutely hits. This is a must try in the area and worth eating fresh at the restaurant.

We had lunch here and let me see. The food is absolutely outstanding. We ordered tallarín verde with the breaded chicken and the leche de tigre and both dishes exceededour expectations. The tallarín had so much flavor and went paired with the light green salsa. They give you to add on top. It pushed it over the edge of great flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a great texture. The leche de tigre was so delicious and milky. The corn nuts that we added into the ceviche made it the perfect combination of cold and crunchy. I'm taking off one star because our waitress wasn't as attentive as she could've been in at times we felt like the service wasn't great. However, the food was delicious. My only suggestion is that the the waiters and waitresses check in on the customers a little bit more during the meal. Overall, it's a clean place with amazing food.

Peruvian restaurant near the Haven City Market food hall. It looks small from the outside but is fairly spacious inside with tables that can accommodate both small and large parties. The restaurant itself is located toward the back of the property away from the food court. I ordered Pollo Saltado, Trio de Empanadas as an appetizer, and Chicha Morada to drink. A complimentary warm dinner roll and butter comes with the meal as well as a small container of aji verde. The empanadas consisted of one each of beef, chicken, and cheese. There was a light sprinkling of powdered sugar which I found strange as a topping for a savory appetizer. However, the empanadas came very hot from the fryer, had flaky crusts, and tasted satisfactory. Chicha Morada was refreshing and can be ordered by the pitcher as well as by the glass. The Pollo Saltado tasted good with a nice, soy sauce flavor. It was not too salty. The dish had the perfect ratio of fries and vegetables to protein. Unfortunately, the chicken breast meat it was made with was slightly dry. I would have much preferred dark meat chicken in the preparation. The aji verde sauce did not have much of a heat level but helped to overcome some of the dryness of the chicken. I may or may not return for a future visit as there are so many restaurants in close vicinity. I will mention that service was good and parking is plentiful.

1/28/26- Dine in visit - Came in for lunch when they just opened ordered the Passion fruit drink , the Peruvian ceviche and these creamy boiled potatoes with hard boiled egg dish and the fried rice and beef dish with potatoes , purple onions and tomatoes served with steam rice . Overall -Everything was excellent and so damn good ! Amazing customer service and delicious food!!! I'd like to come back & try other dishes !! This place is a must & hidden gem.

I love Peruvian food so when my coworkers brought me here I was way excited! Everything is very authentic and they have a wide variety of menu selection to choose from. Their iced tea is amazing and it is fresh brewed. The restaurant itself seem small from the outside, but it's pretty big on the inside with lots of tables and seats, great for large parties or if you're eating by yourself. The staff is friendly, but I noticed that they can be quite slow. I will still come back because the dishes here are just too good. I ordered Lomo saltado, a popular Peruvian stir-fry, was savory with will balanced sauce and the beef was tender, fries a bit soggy from the sauce, but still we're all very delicious one of my favorite Peruvian dishes that I will continue to order. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Parking is huge so no anxiety there.

We came out here since it was around the corner where we were at and wanted to celebrate the Peruvian way. We got anticuchos, ceviche de pescado, lomo saltados, chicha morada, arroz con pollito y papa la huanciana, jalea de mixto, y lucuma. Everything was delicious. The ceviche was okay. It was the first time I tried mahi mahi as the protein for the ceviche. The leche of the Tigre was alittle too sour. I enjoyed the diverse options on the menu. It def satisfied those cravings and presentation of the food was pretty. For my Arroz con Pollito y papa la hucaina, it was pretty good-the boiled egg and Olive was missing from the dish. The anticuchos were so good as an appetizer. We def wanted to order more of that dish. Service was great! They were very attentive and were able to provide recommendations. Also, the environment was nice and clean. It's next to the food hall and lots of parking available. As a Peruvian, def enjoyed the flavors and how it tasted close to home. Def recommend!

This is our family's go-to Peruvian spot. We are Peruvian American and love find the best of the best when it comes to Peruvian cuisine. Mica's bets out most in the IE. The portions are decent size, price is fair but the flavor - this is what makes it special. It's hard to replicate the authentic Peruvian flavors. It's also common for most restaurants to replace produce, spices and herbs with more common American/ Mexican options (i.e. ajis, aji verdes). Service is usually pretty good; however, it can get busy during dinner and/or weekend rush. We appreciate that the servers have been there for a while and usually recognize us since we are long time supporters. Ambiance is fine- nothing fancy. It's casual dining and it isn't the biggest restaurant. Some of our favorite dishes - Lomo Saltado de Carne, Tallarin Saltado de Carne, Papa La Huancaina, the ceviche is to die for. The flavor is unmatched. For the Latinos and seafood lovers out there - you must try the ceviche. It will blow your socks off and keep you coming back.

Our first time here, the food, service, and ambience were so impressive that we just know we'll be back. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside since we could avoid a wait. We really enjoyed the quiet, roomy backyard vibe. Sometimes when seated outside in restaurants, service can be lacking due to distance. But not here! Our waiter was so on it! Personable, checked on us regularly, and brought all the extras. Our drinks were delicious! Really unique, refreshing flavors. The squishiest rolls were brought to the table: mmm! The dipping sauce was surprisingly spicy, but so flavorful! Each of us really enjoyed our orders. The flavors were fresh, popping with flavor. Our dishes were plentiful and we all left with happy, full bellies. Overall, a great experience. We'll be back!

Great place, great vibe and great food. Had some chicha morada and lomo saltado. I will be returning fursure! Great service aswell. It's pricey but never the less it brings back many memories.. And for those who left the three star/two star reviews. If you need authentic food like Mexican food go to Mexico, Spanish food go to Spain, Italian food go to Italy and Peruvian food go to Peru. For us being in the states this is the closest authenticity we will get.. read more

Talk about a PERFECT MEAL. Came here after a long day out and about and we were starving. The people couldn't have been nicer even with the Covid restrictions. We tried the Lomo Saltados, one with chicken and one with beef and they were both beyond delicious. The icing on the cake was the Aji sauce, homemade and wonderful. Tried this other Micas not really sold on me. Lunch special Lomo Saltado very little food compare to Micas on Archibald, The plate need it more seasoning. I think I will stay with the one in Archibald even if the parking is terrible. Wish they would include a drink with the lunch special. read more

The food was excellent. It's hard to come by good food hidden off in the tiny little nooks of our little town. Fortunately, there are more and more little gems worth taking the time of checking out. I came here with my family for dinner. My girlfriend and I shared a soup and some fried rice. We ordered a Parihuela and a plate of Chaufa de Arróz. Both dishes were filled with an appreciable amount of seafood ranging from muscles, to fish, to octopus and shrimp. The flavor of the soup was light and balanced with acidity, while the rice had a hearty home cooked feel. The service was on point and we were given the server's full attention. Sad to see the other location (Mica's Peruvian Sandwich) closed down. It was a good place to get a quick bite. I figured I would try their restaurant. Everything was very good, I definitely recommend getting the beer shrimp pasta. It was so creamy and delicious. I almost the entire plate. I took off one star for the overtook egg on the aji de gallina. It just looked gross, and made the dish look less appetizing. But despite that, everything was good. read more

Awesome food! The pesto spaghetti was delicious! I didn't expect it to be that flavorful but it blew my mind. Luckily they give you huge portions so I was able to savor every bite and still have left overs. This place is perfect for some good Peruvian food :) read more

I been here several times. Each time the food is awesome. Being Peruvian and loving the home cooked food my grandmother and mother made, this is up there. Nothing would ever compare to their food but, this is close. Aji de gallina, similar to a chicken curry, is a dish that you wouldn't find at most other Peruvian spots but they have it here. Lomo Saltado, the staple of Peruvian cuisine, is great. Green pesto spaghetti with steak, the arroz verde con pollo, anticuchos, etc, are all well made. Everything is made at the time of order so the food takes a bit to come out. There's outdoor seating but I always order to go. If you're looking for something different or if Haven city market, which is next door, is too packed, try this place and you won't be disappointed. I would've added pictures but the food is always eaten too quickly. A testament to its quality. read more

OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Every bite I took was soooo yummy!!!! I ordered the Lomo Saltado!!!! Heaven in EVERY BITE!!!! My Brother in Law had Jalea de Mariscos!!! And what I tried was just as amazing!!!!! And let me tell you about their drinks!!! Their Chicha Morada was so Yummy!!! My brother in Law had Maracuya & it was yummy too!! Our waiter Steven was so friendly, knowledgeable & gracious!! He let me ask all the questions I had for our meal & drinks!!! And even made suggestions!! Came here waitress took to long to acknowledge. Sauce was not good bread was hard and stale. By the way they charge extra for cold stale Bread. Honestly y I don't recommend. If you want real good Peruvian food. Go to know grill in lake forest. That's the best I've tried so far. Don't recommend this place at all. read more

I've never been as disappointed with a business as I am with Micas. Online ordering was down. Called to place order with no answer multiple times. Finally got an order to go thru and when I went for pick up they hadn't even started my order. Half the order was cancelled as they didn't have empanadas on a Monday at 5:00. That's prime dining hour is it not? Needless to say I will never return to this place. Don't waste your time there are too many other businesses offering exceptional service. After I wrote this review my husband ended up leaving the restaurant as they still couldn't get our order correct. Pathetic read more

My wife and I had Lomo Saltado and Pesto Spaghetti with Chicken... Im Cuban/Puerto Rican, The Wife is Mexican "Which means were very picky" ... I gave this place 5 Stars because the food was absolutely amazing! My plate had the best meat, best portions and vegetables i've ever had... I absolutely love this place! Me and my fiancé make the drive from SB to eat here Bc of how tasty and fresh everything is. The sauces are delicious and they have different levels of spicy for the ceviche. Terrible customer service, it's extremely disorganized no one greeted us upon arrival and waited 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged after we ordered they got our order completely wrong and to top it off they were acting all upset this is ridiculous we ended up leaving and leaving the food the manager has extremely rude service I will never return avoid this place at all costs read more

Come here 3 or 4 times away. Order this morning two Chupe fish soups fir almost almost $30. I started eating it and it was so waterry and tasteless . Called to let them know. Told us to come and will replace them. Came (live 20 minutes away) had to wait 45 minutes for them to make 1 order of soap because they will not replace the other because I have already eaten out of the container. Bad customer service . I will not be coming back And will not recommend your place. read more

Seriously this place was amazing. I never had Peruvian food before so I swung into this place with the SO. We had the lunch special and it was incredible. The Peruvian rice tastes buttery but light and delicious. And the main dish was grilled sliced beef with peppers and onions over french fries. They also serve everything with this spicy dipping sauce which is insane! They also have special Peruvian desserts and drinks you can order. All in all it's pretty legit. While probably not the healthiest thing out there it was absolutely delicious. I will be stopping in again to explore the menu a bit more. read more

Awful service (Long waiting times and bad attitude from some waitresses ). And food flavor has no Peruvian seasoning. It is no yummy food at all. Once I asked for "salt" for a cebiche-unbelievable, leche de tigre was soaky (aguada), and Pollo a la brasa needs way more species. Last time (11/1/21) I called over the phone for pre ordering pollo a la brasa and a soup "to go". They put me on hold (actually, they answered and left me waiting "there" forever). I got to order when I arrived. When I asked why they took 35 minutes for the soup, one of the waitress in a BAD attitude--so sorry I missed her name--said there were "other" people before me (4 tables with people in the restaurant that could hold easily 12 tables or more). Then she said I should have called for ordering first. Of course, I told her about the incident on her phone. She didn't reply back and I just walked away. I always say to myself not to go back, because I know what to expect. I live in the neighborhood. Although, I wanted to give it a last try. And yes, I am Peruvian. So sad this restaurant started soo good and now is so POOR. Wish the owners to review and fix ASAP . Otherwise, they will keep on losing Peruvian customers. read more

I have to say that I've never tried Peruvian fusion in my life, a coworker recommended this place and I decided to go, I've been here 3 times already, the food is absolutely delicious, I've had 3 different dishes and the all have been great, even tho is only for take out, the ladies at the front were very nice and gave me good recommendations as to what to try, I'll definitively continue to recommend to more people as this place is fantastic. read more

Omg where do I start if I could give more than 5 stars I would... amazing service very friendly and courteous our waiter was Pedro I believe we had a part of 12 and he was on point for everything we must have had one of everything on the menu and u can't go wrong no matter what u choose to be honest... I've been to both locations and Tere's staff are is always so friendly from the moment you walk in- I gotta say food taste amazing - Lomo Saltado always has me coming back - I usually stop by for fried plantains or a small box of sugar powder cookies that have cajeta in between a set of two cookies my favorite- the spot is super chill and offer Dinner specials - Food I recommend is the Green Spaghetti al pesto w chicken, or Lomo Saltado on rice omg perfection with an Inca kola to close the deal. read more

Usually order to go from this place, but decided to dine in for the first time. Honestly some of the worst customer service I've experienced. Multiple workers walking by as we waited to be seated. Waited for 10 minutes without a word. We then we're seated and waited another 15 minutes without a single word while other customers were being helped that sat after us. I had to flag someone down to take our order. Probably the last time I'll ever come here. read more

But, my therapist tells me I need to be more "sharing," so here we are. This place is the definition of a Hidden Gem. And the man running the show? Lucho. We need to protect Lucho at all costs. Not only is he the owner, but he is also a culinary artist and arguably the one of the nicest human being in the Inland Empire. I have rolled in with a big party (don't ask, long day), and despite the space being on the smaller, cozy side, Lucho didn't blink. He helped us fit everything in like a game of Tetris. The place is spotless, by the way. You could eat off the floor, but please don't, because the plates are much better. A Warning/Disclaimer: If you are in a rush and need food in 3 minutes, go to a drive-thru. This is not fast food; this is fresh food. Everything is made to order. There are no sad heat lamps here keeping burgers warm since 10 AM. Relax, sit down, and wait. It is worth every single tick of the clock. Let's talk about the food (I'm getting emotional just typing this): The Lomo Saltado (The Star): I have eaten Lomo Saltado all over. But Lucho's? It's a flavorful experience. He cooks the steak to absolute perfection--tender, juicy, no chewing gum texture here. But the magic is in the seasoning and how it hits those fries and onions. It is worth every penny. I would pay double. Don't tell him that. Aeropuerto de Pollo (Chicken Fried Rice): I know, I know. You're thinking, "It's just chicken fried rice." WRONG. Stop it. It sounds crazy to rave about rice, but this dish is savory, smoky, and addictive. I planned to eat a few bites and take the rest home. I failed. I ate it all. The Chow Mein: Traditional? Yes. Boring? Absolutely not. There is a "minor twist" in the flavor profile that I can't quite put my finger on, but it makes the dish absolutely sing. It's out of this world. Mar y Tierra: If you can't decide between surf or turf, get this. It's the best of both worlds and plated beautifully. I love small businesses like this. You aren't just eating ingredients; you are literally tasting the love and hard work Lucho puts into the pan. It's rare, it's special, and it's delicious. Go visit Lucho. Tip him well. The fries were freshly made with a light crispy exterior and creamy interior to soak up the saltado sauce. The aji verde salsa was on the spicy side but tasted good as an accompaniment to the dish. The mariscos included abundant shrimp, calamari rounds, and mussels, along with tomatoes, onions, red bell pepper, and green onions, of course mixed with tender pasta. This dish can readily serve two. My guest had the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, which was similar to the de Marisco dish, only with asada rather than seafood. It was a huge serving, with over half coming home for later. The table included the green peruvian ahi sauce and some warm bread rolls. The sauce was nice and spicy and the rolls were slightly toasted and served hot. The bread helped mop up the outstanding sauce on the mariscos dish. Of course, Inca Cola was available and a great accompaniment to Tallarin Saltado. Prices are flat out amazing and late lunch service on a Sunday was spot on. The food and table service warrant 5 stars, but the business practice of charging a 4% fee to use the credit card is downright shameful. If this fee was disclosed, it was clearly not obvious. Inca needs to modernize and build their credit card use costs into their overhead cost. What's next, a table cleaning fee, a salt and pepper fee, a dishwashing fee?

Also, they didn't provide extra sauce when we took the leftovers home, which was a bit disappointing. And they charge $1 for credit card payments, I wish there had been a sign indicating this somewhere on the menu or near the register.

The Empanada was filled with seasoned beef, olives, and hard boiled eggs. The filling was flavorful although the crust was more tender than crisp. It could have used some additional time to attain a decent outer crust. Pollo Saltado consisted of a large portion of tender, boneless chicken, stir fried with French fries and onion and served with steamed rice. It was delicious accompanied by the rice but was very salty from the soy sauce by itself. (This is an extremely common occurrence with this particular dish due to the varying salinity level of different soy sauce brands.) Since the saltado had a good overall flavor, if I were to order this again, I would recommend requesting that the food be made with a little less soy sauce. A dinner roll and butter blend was also served with this meal. The Chicha Morada I ordered as a beverage was delightfully delicious and refreshing from the mix of various fruit juices. The waitstaff were polite and efficient. There were no problems for me as for the service. The restaurant is freeway close to the 10 and there are plenty of parking spaces in the lot. Most of their business seems to be take out but dining in is also a good option. The video stereo system, providing the background music, played some nice tracks which made for an enjoyable experience. I would definitely entertain a return visit soon.

We have been at Mica's Peruvian Fusion Restaurant at least half a dozen times. The last two it has taken such a turn for the worst, that as of now we refuse to eat at the place. Peruvian places will take your money, and deliver mediocre food. If you are lucky to find one Peruvian restaurant that serves good food, chances are it will not be for long. They like to charge plenty, and attempt to ape plates that in Peru are made with artistry. Take for instance Lomo Saltado, everywhere you look is Lomo Saltado this, and Lomo Saltado that, but in true reality Lomo Saltado in most places is just a very simple dish, hardly a tour de force, and it is served with mediocre quality. All it consists of is: Beef, the softer and fresher the better, but in most places you get subpar beef, Red Onions, Tomatoes, White Rice, and Fries, oh and lets not forget Cilantro and a little Aji Amarillo (Yellow Peruvian chili). Yet, this dish is praised to no end by countless customers. We ordered several dishes for a crowd of 4, and not one was worth it. Tamales were soggy, Ceviche had shrunk in size, and the new plate in which they served it, a tiny thing. Anticuchos were dried, and very very thin, Yuca a la huancaina was a joke, 6 pieces of yuca and a tiny container with some sauce, this presentation did it for us. I could go on with this severe criticism, but the point is probably made, and one thing you do not want to do in a place like this kind is complain, and then get more food, because bad cooks are always vengeful, and who knows what they are capable of putting in one's food. The funny thing is the place was packed, and the staff was running around like chickens with their legs cut off, a truly dismal service. Cheap and badly made Peruvian dishes, slow and incompetent service, the one thing that tasted good was their water. Go figure. Yes, they will charge plenty, but rarely deliver a meal that is worth their prices. We had to drive like an hour one way hoping the place was going to bounce back up form our previous visit. Sadly, it was not the case, and Mica now belongs to a fading past, for there are surely more dynamic places, with a fair sense of play that will at the very least serve a decent meal. 1.5 Stars. read more

Came here with my bf's Peruvian family. I've really REALLY grown to truly love Peruvian food, it is DIVINE and sent from the gods. The flavors... the freshness...the variety....the seafood! OMG. I'm hoping he's "the one" so I can have an excuse to visit Peru year after year and gorge on this delicious food. Jk.. but really! (If you're reading this I obviously love you for other reasons!) HAHA. ANYWAYS: For a party of 6 we ordered lots of goodies- a pitcher of chicha mirada (purple corn drink- it was good! Not too sweet) to start the food party. Plates ordered: -Tallarin saltado (noodles with cuts of beef and lots of veggies, tastes somewhat similar to the flavors in a lomo saltado) not my dish but the person who ate it voted it a thumbs up!! -Lomo saltado (classic Peruvian dish with lean cuts of beef, french fries, veggies and asian-inspired soy seasoning with a side of white rice). Person said it was ok-- he's had better elsewhere. -Ceviche (fresh seafood cooked with the acidity of citrus, another classic Peruvian dish) this was good!! -Chaufa de carne (beef fried rice) huge portion, it was tasty! -Tallarin verde (pesto spaghetti with beef)-- this was okay. Not special -Aji de gallina (spicy creamed chicken)-- this has quickly become one of my fav peruvian dishes. Its so creamy and delicious. Lots of chicken and the spice is really mild. served with rice.. so damn good. -There was a steak platter that we ordered and it was served really dry. OVERALL -The service here is super great. Servers are so patient and really excited to give their personal recommendations. Food also came out quickly despite our large party!! -Food was flavorful, hot, delicious and true to Peruvian traditional flavors/recipes. -Family friendly restaurant. We went over for lunch with my co-workers today and we order their lomo saltado. The meat was very bad and it didn't taste fresh at all. We had previously ordered this plate in the past and the food was good. However, today the meat was not good at all and we were having a very difficult time enjoying our lunch meal. We talked to the restaurant manager Susana and expressed our concern about the quality of the meat and she responded by saying that she could only give us a 50% discount because they had 30 other plates that were served today and nobody else said a negative comment about the meat. We took this very offensively because we were not asking for a discount, we were basically letting her know our concern about the food since we been frequent customers and we been always very happy with their food selection and quality. She was very rude and she did not showed any consideration to the fact that we were very hungry and we were not able to continue enjoying our lunch. We are very disappointed with their customer service and how their manager handle this situation. This is not the way a frequent loyal customer should be treated at any restaurant. It is very sad that because of one rude, unprofessional employee, this restaurant will be now loosing 6 frequent customers. My sister in law, who by the way is Peruvian, brought us here for lunch and my wife and i tried their lunch special - lomo saltado- and was great, outstanding! i have tried the same plate back in Italy but it's totally different. the type of meat they use feels different soft and with much more flavor, it's a bit like Chinese mixed with Peruvian cuisine a perfect match if you put on top their aji sauce - top secret they would not tell me the recipe - but its really amazing. Would recommend this place and hope we will come back soon since we don't live near by. Service is not a A+ but I've been to some franchises and they also make you wait for it...Try their Borgona wine it will help to enjoy the waiting. read more

This is my third time at this restaurant, and I must say that I still like it a lot, even though it is far from my home, I give them FIVE STARS because the food is excellent, they have one of the best fish ceviche I have tasted, and the excellent service is second most important to me, we ordered Lomo saltado, seafood chauffa, and ceviches and everything was on time and delicious... congratulations MICA'S Restaurant and thank you so much for your excellent service Jary, she was the person who serving us, she was always asking if we needed something or if is everything was ok, she was very kind, I loved her customer service. I love when the wait it's worth it! Just like the other comments claim, the service wasn't very good. I think they need to hire more servers forsure. The one server didn't really check on us or give us water refills. We got the lomo saltado and the meat was very rough. The sauce was delicious though and fried rice was good as well. I think if they just had better service and worked on the meat it would be great. Visit was during covid, the outdoor dining set up is nice and clean and does follow social distancing which is very important to me and many of you I am sure. The service was good both friendly and fast! Food was fresh and came out within about 10 mins. We went early today to celebrate an engagement party for two of my best friends. They are Peruvians so they were the ones suggesting all the food and I can be more thankful the place is awesome and the food is great. Had a ceviche and a Lomo... And can definitely say they were good, well presented, good meat quality fair price. Worth it. read more

I went to this restaurant to take out food and observe the cookers are no masks and smell smoke cigars and the one of the women who cook and coming to the front have a dirty dirty mask she move in and out etc. and chicken was so dry and the salad not washed uff never going back also the servers are disrespect and rude read more

Micas Peruvian food is straight up authentic! We can't believe we had no idea this place was so close by! We would travel all the way to LA to get quality Peruvian food. Now this is our go to! What is this people talking about food is delicious love the ahi sauce. The waiter was kind enough to explain the food in a very simple way. We chose agueito on chicken and Tallarin saltado. A great Peruvian seafood restaurant in Rancho, So I went back to the restaurant after the first try. If you want to order dessert, remember to choose the mango mousse. The restaurant always serves special dishes which are different in weekday and weekends. You should give it a try. read more

Let me tell you something. Terrible customer service. Never checked up on us and made sure we got refills on water. I own a restaurant and I make sure all my customers get taken care of. Terrible management with no responsibilities. Food wasn't all that great. read more
