I can come back here every single day and just spend all my money. Not only is it a fun concept where you get to pick your clay object and paint it but the drinks here are solid 10/10!! I would just come back here for the drinks if I were in the area. some of the objects are only $15 that includes unlimited paint. You can pick up the same day and if it is not too busy, it'll take maybe an hour or so. It looks so nice after they glaze it and I'm happy with how my little plant pots turned out! Great date night idea or to keep your kids entertained during summer. They have another location in Garden Grove!
Came on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. The vibes inside are messy there is paint splatter decor everywhere since they have a paint and sip option. My first time here a worker never came to help so i just used the kiosk to order. I got a Mango yoyo blended drink with boba. It was kind of expensive compared to other boba shops. The drink took a while to come out but I understand why there was fresh mango puree inside and it was so delicious. Perfect amount of sweetness and there was a little bear topper so cute. I'll definitely be back!
We always have fun at this place. It ia cool spot to hang out, enjoy a yummy drink, and do some painting. It can get pretty busy at times, and there have been a couple of occasions with large orders where something was missed. That said, they have always corrected it and honored what was needed, which I really appreciate. Just a heads up that it does get busy, so I would recommend calling ahead or reserving a spot if you are planning to come with a large group for painting.
My sister hosted a get together here. This part boba shop / part ceramic painting studio is a great concept. We got to choose our sculpture and all paint supplies are provided. We reserved a table and it was a good idea. The place was busy for the whole time we were there. The boba drinks took a while to make. The taiyaki was on the burnt side but I actually like burnt so that's fine with me. Once done painting, the sculptures get a lacquer spray and sit for another 15 minutes. Sculptures are individually priced and quite reasonably. Good concept! Please come and create your own adventure.
Decided to try this spot after a friend and I wanted to do something like Color Me Mine. My friend said that she'd been meaning to try out this spot as it seemed to be more affordable, too! Parking was in the plaza and not too difficult to find (on a weekday afternoon) but I would imagine it could be a bit more difficult on a weekend. Speaking from our experience, when we got to the shop, we ordered our drinks and then decided to pick the item that we wanted to paint. I got the white grape oolong tea and friend got the smashed berry tea. Both teas were okay and I would rate them both 6/10 though will say they both tasted refreshing. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were more engrossed in our figurine painting if anything. Prices were fair and ranged from I think $10-30. After painting, we just let the employees know we were done and then they'd take it to the front and spray a gloss on it and wait for a few minutes to set. Due to our perfectionist tendencies, we spent about 3 hours here HAHA. For a catch up friend date, I'd say it was fun and worth it for what we paid!

we placed a reservation to paint here and it was super fun. it's a pretty small boba shop with limited seating, but if you wanted to sit and paint, they will set up a table for you. the workers are super helpful and they will spray your pieces afterwards if you ask. our drinks were pretty good as well, their boba is cube shaped which was a pleasant surprise. given how small it is, this place can get pretty loud especially with all the talking. still, a good boba shop with fun activities.
Micha is located in a plaza that is not too busy, we came on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm and there was plenty of parking. I called to schedule a reservation about 1 week before and the kind gentleman on the phone sent a text to me with the reservation link. Super easy to make a reservation and no fee attached. I saw on the page that you can try to reserve sculptures by sending them a message on IG, which is nice and I did reserve two different ones. When we arrived however unfortunately they did not have one of them available but there were still a lot of cute choices ranging in size and composition (plastic vs. cement-like). They have an ordering kiosk and you can also order your drinks or snacks at the counter when paying for your sculptures. They have a beautiful range of paints that were plentiful and a nice holder with enough spots for multiple colors or mixing if needed. You get paintbrushes (two sizes) and a water cup for the activity. We never felt rushed and they gloss your sculpture at the end if you ask! We ordered the strawberry mochi , oolong MT and the sunshine frostee. All drinks were pretty solid and personally I really liked my sunshine frostee, it was refreshing and the water chestnut popping boba was unique but also satisfying! It gave the whole drink a nice small crunch. If we weren't eating afterwards I would have ordered some taiyaki, they have pretty unique flavors like pizza. Overall I think Micha is a solid boba spot (a lot of people came just to get to-go drinks) but it has a unique aspect of adding the painting opportunity, I think they do a great job supplying a variety of sculptures to please a wide audience and makes good use of the small space they have. If you're not interested in painting but want to hangout they have a bunch of board games as well. The staff all are hard workers, helping to service the kitchen but also the painting arena, the staff was really great but I can understand that it can be difficult to tend to both areas at the same time, please be patient with them! Painting tip: if you need your sculpture to dry faster before glossing you can place it outside under the sun--it's quick! Thank you Micha and staff for a wonderful, creative experience for my family! So much fun!
this cute little boba sip and paint shop was the perfect thing to do while family was in town It says to go onto their instagram to reserve what piece you want to paint (to make sure it's in stock and what they have available that week) and to reserve your spot. (It takes around 1 and a half - 2 hours for the painting depending on what size piece) Instead, I was in the area and decided to just run in and do it all in person. (See if it looked as cool as the photos) First off! Not going to lie, the parking lot is a little sketchy. There's even a sketchy looking strip club in the parking lot. (NO judgement) They do have up close parking which is great I ran In and talked to Marilyn. She was absolutely so sweet!! And helpful. We picked out a couple pieces and reserved our time. It was a Sunday around 4 PM when we came in to book everything and it was PACKED. Every single table was taken. It honestly made me a little nervous walking around in here while everyone has paint on their table They also have board games that you can play as well. We came in the next day which was a Monday at our reserved time slot. We had 3 hello kitty characters that were the large sized piggy banks. They were around 25-29 dollars each. I believe I saw a sign though saying they were 15 percent off the large ones. The paint is also included In the price and you can keep getting up to get more. I loved the color of the paints. It was really vibrant pretty colors. Also, they recommend 3 layers. they also provide plastic cover / plastic aprons for your clothes. It doesn't cover too much. So keep that in mind I've done pottery painting and etc before and you don't get to take it home the same day. But here you get to take it all home the same day. Which was really important since my family were only in town for a few days for my surgery (Next time I'll definitely do one of the jewelry trays) The whole experience was really fun. I'd honestly come back a few times with other girlfriends because each experience is different. They have so many things to pick from. It's a really cool idea too. Some of the chairs and tables were small and uncomfortable. I hope they expand to a bigger place. The place inside honestly didn't smell like paint or chemicals BUT when you first walk up to the building it does smell like strong chemicals (they take your finished piece outside to spray it before you take it home) But, again, I did not smell this inside. If you're sensitive to smells or worried about your kids you can always bring masks It took forever for ours to dry. Marilyn took our pieces outside to help it dry faster. Again, they spray it with a finishing spray. We put them in the car and it did smell like strong chemicals. That's the only downside. But what do you expect. No complaints on our side, just be aware if you have asthma or sensitive to that. It was so fun and they turned out great. When you first walk in they do have photos on what the pieces SHOULD look like. Which is helpful, or you can just wing it P.S they are open pretty late which is really convenient. 10/10 perfect for adults and kids So come and support this locally owned place.
This cute boba spot has a painting option where you can paint little little figurines of popular blond box figures, Sanrio figures, and others! We just popped in for boba on a Tuesday night and ordered a mango mochi drink and blueberry yogurt slush at the kiosk. It all came out quickly and service was kind.
i adore this place!!! you can schedule a time to paint cute items like hello kitty or labubus! lots of tables & the two workers were extra kind and considerate. you typically paint, then they cover it with a protectant seal so that it's shiny. the drinks were also just the right amount of sweetness & tastiness! i got 75% for mango, and loved every bit of it. i would 100% come back again!
Extremely well priced figurines to be painted and boba drinks!! The piggy banks we got were $25-29 and the smaller ceramic figurines were in the $10s. There's a good variety of paint colors to choose from, and i liked how the final color of the piece was similar to the color of the paint (unlike other places that fire the pieces and the color changes). The strawberry mochi and Ube mochi drinks were also delicious and so creamy. Would definitely return again to paint some of the smaller figurines and for the mochi drinks!

Matcha paradise here~ anything from match ice cream, latte, boba, to desserts. We ordered matcha milk tea with honey boba and strawberry matcha latte. I've tasted the matcha & hojicha ice creams, but they seemed to be on the sweeter side than what I'm used to. The drinks were great though, as matcha was more concentrated :) read more

Tried this spot down the street from our house and I enjoyed their blended drinks a lot! I normally don't get blended drinks but their options are super yummy! I have only tried their blended drinks, I hope to try their teas and milk teas soon! Their main attraction is their addiction of Mochi which is nothing I've tried before. It's swirls of chewy, slightly sweet Mochi which is my favorite part. My top drinks are the blended thai tea and the ube taro wave. I've had the mango too which is pretty good but I enjoy the other two more. The service was quick and efficient and the staff are friendly. There's a handful of tables around and seems like a quiet place to study. Overall will be coming back for more! read more
crazyy busy & it felt like the staff were running around a bit since we waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, but partly our fault since we went on a late saturday afternoon. the shop itself is so cute and i love the painting activities offered! will def come back to try next time. for the drinks itself, i got the triple m, which was pretty good! i think mochi texture could've been more consistent and chewy but otherwise the mango and coconut aspects were good. read more

I got an Earth Origins and it was surprisingly very refreshing! I didn't take a photo, but I also got the corn cheese taiyaki and it was a LIFE CHANGER! It did take a while to make, 20 minutes but I understand! Maybe it was the time I went, but I was the only one there minus one person picking up. I didn't paint anything because I just came to try a drink, but there's a couple of choices and I felt really home-y and comfortable in the cafe that I'd imagine it's a great time to paint there! read more

This place can get super busy, so be sure to reserve your sculptures ahead of time, and inquire whether you can get a table reserved. You can choose from two sizes: small or medium. They provide the painting supplies. It was fun and therapeutic painting with friends! Afterwards they spray a protective coating, so expect to wait about 15 minutes for it to dry. I highly recommend their seasonal drinks and the Mochi drinks!! I wanted to try the corn cheese taiyaki but they were out of stock. It did get super busy right before we were able to place our orders, so it took quite a while for us to get our drink and pastry orders. However, they were very accommodating and we had a good time overall! I love their sculpture selection. read more

Their mochi + milk tea is so genius. I remember getting their fruit teas earlier, but I never tried their specialty drink until recently, and I am in love. The Roseberry matcha drink has non-caffeinated matcha with house-made rose strawberry puree and a drinkable mochi topping, combining all the things I love. Rose, matcha, mochi. They have many other flavors of the mochi drinks, and I'd love to try them out. read more

The place was pretty spacious they had like about 5 tables indoors and some tables outdoor to the side. There is a self ordering kiosk or a cash register to the side if you do not want to self order. Omg this is the first boba shop that I went to that has a painting station! You could choose any sculpture that they have on the shelves(Please note that the price varies depending on the size you want). They had such cute ones. Then there is another table next to it that had the paints, brushes, and clean water(For the brushes). They also provided some board games and cards. It'll be a great cute boba date or hang out spot to paint and sip on your boba ;) The workers were friendly, no complaints about them :) The shop was pretty quiet For myself I ordered the Roseberry Matcha Mochi. I'm not really a huge fan of purée but their drink was very subtle with both flavors. If you just mix it well the flavors doesn't overpower each other. OMG their mochi.... I loved it. The texture was very soft, smooth, and chewy. Tastes just like mochi(No fake mochi here), it did go well with my drink. They did an amazing job with the mochi! I would love to come back here again to try their other drinks! I need more of their mochi drinks! read more
Skipped out on the boba because I really wanted to try something new and unique to me - a mochi drink! I might be late to the game, but the Roseberry Matcha Mochi drink was delicious! We asked for 50% sweet but it still pretty sweet because of the roseberry so i think I can even go 0% sweet next time and it'll still taste good. When I say Mochi drink, I don't mean mochi balls as toppings - it's like mochi paste as a small base layer topped with the rest of the drink - matcha and roseberry. I LOVED the texture of the drink. Because it was new to me, I think it's a genius idea for a new type of beverage. Would love to see if there any more places that has these mochi drinks so please let me know of the others! We also ordered the milk tea boba croissant taiyaki. We had an extra order with the red bean because our order messed up first. They were nice to remake our order to the correct one. The service was slow on a Sunday afternoon. I thought someone had grabbed my drink but it turns out they've been waiting for a while too. Very nice people doing their best to get this fairly new establishment running. Be patient and enjoy their products! read more
This boba shop is amazing. Small little shop inside a small plaza with free parking. The staff is great and will take time to explain their menu to new customers. Their drinks are very tasty especially the ones with the mochi like filling inside their drinks. Shop has a good amount of seating for people that like to work or hang out at boba shops. Price is decent compared to all of the other chains around. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area. read more
Yummy! I got to try the ube taro wave (very flavorful and creamy!) and it came with a mochi topping which was very interesting. The blueberry yogurt was made with fresh blueberry purée and was perfectly sweetened. They offered different drinks compared to the average boba place. We ordered through a kiosk and got our drinks promptly. It's a great place to get your boba fix!! read more

This was probably the worst boba drink I have ever had. The drink tasted like nothing, like plain milk with bits of a sugary taste that was super faint. I love boba and I'm not the biggest critic over drinks but this place was just so bad. The boba was hard, and the first sip I took, I got a mouthful of something bitter that didn't taste pleasant, and also had a strange texture. This was the first time I ever spat out a boba drink. When I first walked in, I had a question regarding something on the menu, yet there was not a single employee in the front for a few minutes. All of the employees were in the back mingling and took forever to come out and attend a customer. I saw someone post a review on this place saying how the sip & paint and board games are cool, but the drinks are not up to par. It didn't feel like the place was the cleanest either. Will not be returning ever. Please save your money and take it somewhere that's worth spending $7 on. read more

Boba around Garden Grove and Westminster and Fountain Valley can be quite the exhaustive search just based off sheer volume. But there are not too many that call the small part of Stanton home except for ones like Micha. They have unique flavors but they were out of two of them at time of visit so opted for the Lady Rose (jasmine tea with lychee and rose extract) and my friend opted for the Smashed Berry Berry which is Jasmine tea with purée of strawberries and blueberries. Unfortunately, they tasted more like watered down versions and hard to find anything distinctive. Service is polite and courteous. Ambience is a mixed bag as inside is modern and sparse but outside is a crowded strip mall parking lot with sometimes questionable characters roaming outside depending on the time of day. read more

This place is so cute and must I say this is the place for artists to hang out and paint while drinking boba! They take their time to make it frothy and love how creamy the matcha coconut milk tea latte taste. My go to drink! read more

Tried 4 drinks- strawberry mochi, ube mochi, lady rose and house fruit tea. Strawberry mochi - this is good but not my favorite. It doesn't taste artificial and has drinkable mochi on the bottom. Ube mochi- this was so good. The ube flavors are strong. I also liked how I could substitute milk for oatmilk (at a cost of course) for those who are lactose intolerant. The mochi also added a nice texture at the end. It's a topping I probably wouldn't consider for other drinks but I think it goes very well in this one. I was also worried the drink would be too sweet but it was just right. Lady rose- basically a lychee tea. It had strong lychee and tea flavor that mixed very well and didn't overpower each other. Not too sweet either. House fruit tea- I forgot all the fruits that were in it but I definitely remember it had an orange slice, lemon slice, passion fruit and strawberry bits in it. The tea was very refreshing and not too sweet. read more

Came on a Friday ~ 1:30pm. The outside of the shop still has their grand opening sign up from 4 months prior. There was only one couple who ordered before us and no one else in the shop. I saw two staff members, but it looked like the guy who was taking orders was also the one making drinks? Not sure what the other person was doing -- maybe prepping items? Didn't start making our drinks until 15 mins after we ordered...and there was only 1 order before it. It took them ~5 mins to make our drinks. Not sure why it took them so long. The shop was nice. There's a corner of board games for customers to use and play with. The air conditioning wasn't on, even though it was the middle of summer, so it was pretty hot and humid in there. Ordered 2 Nutella Mochis from from the Micha Mochi Series. The drinks were good, but I wouldn't wait around that long for them again. The shop has potential, but still has a lot to improve. read more

Genuinely 5-star spot for boba. All the drinks are unique on the menu, ambience is great with an open, clean and bright interior. HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Roseberry Matcha Mochi (5/5) - Substituted the whole milk for soy milk and half sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness, the puree is pretty strong and thick, but the MOCHI is so unique, almost like a custard/chewy texture at the bottom of the drink. This place definitely does the Matcha right. Overall, definitely coming back to try more menu items. Love how they offer milk alternatives. Very creative menu, and by far, one of my favorite spots for boba tea now. read more
