This review was long overdue tbh. Friends and I stopped by on a Friday evening a couple weeks ago. I ordered the oolong tiramisu, and I enjoyed it!! It had a nice tea flavor, and the foam was yummy. My friends also liked the drinks they got, and they loved the little cat teapot they added on. The shop is small and it can get a bit hectic when it's busy, especially with so many families and friends hanging out there on a weekend. Although the drinks were good, there were some... difficulties with the service. Don't get me wrong. The staff (guy working the register and girl(s) making drinks) seemed to be kind, but the guy's lack of efficiency killed me! It was a busy(?) night for them, I suppose, and I understand it can be stressful, but the stream of customers could have been handled better. I was the last one to order in my friend group, but technically, we should have gotten our drinks consecutively. That didn't happen. My friends got their drinks, but for some reason, my drink was taking a while to be made. Eventually, my friends and I saw my drink, along with many other drinks finally done, but were on the back counter. There were also MANY drinks on the front counter NOT being called out. After bringing out drinks or taking an order, he'd rush to the back, probably to help make drinks, but at the same time not prioritizing ready-to-pick-up drinks. Moreover, I saw some customers going up to ask if their drink was ready. They were not, so to appease them, they'd try to quickly make it. When I finally got the text telling me my order was ready, I knew that that oolong tiramisu on the back counter had to be mine, so I walked up. I inquired about it. He said, "I dont think it's ready yet." I asked him if, possibly, my drink was sitting on the back counter. He checked my order again. He checked the drink. It was. I came here because I heard that they made their tea in the teaspresso style (which I love at Bako) but here it didn't quite deliver. I got the nami jasmine milk tea, which tasted like a plain ol regular jasmine milk tea, so I was disappointed that I didn't get a strong tea flavor despite ordering my drink at 50% sweet. I also got the soursop oolong which was nice and refreshing. I like seeing exotic fruits on the menu. Drinks were made decently quickly. I was also disappointed that they weren't serving popcorn chicken like I previously saw in pictures here on Yelp. Store was empty on a Tuesday afternoon. Looking for a tea beverage, I popped in this shopping center Tea Nami is located. There are other beverage places, coffee focused, but I still decided to try this one. Although the shopping center is a bit rundown, Tea Nami has an inviting interior with a decent amount of seating. You walk up to the counter to order on a screen. There was staff available to answer questions. As I was going through the options to order, I felt the pricing was very fair and quite affordable. I was solely looking for a matcha based beverage. I ordered my drink at 75% sweetness, but it was still pretty bitter (ok for a matcha though), but the jasmine foam on top gave it a nice flavor. As I proceeded through the add on options, I notices little tea pots for $2.85. After seeing the display on the counter, I figured why not. At the time I ordered, there was no one else in the store. They have a screen to the side showing which order they are working on. It took over 10 mins for my beverage to be ready which I though was quite slow given no others orders were ahead of me. Once my drink was ready, the presentation of the little tea pot on top of the drink was worth the wait. The staff was patient so I could take some pictures/videos. I guess I am one of the only ones who didn't get this advertised to on IG, so it was refreshing popping in store and finding out about this great little add-on. I believe the mini tea pots have a limited run. I think it is a great way to attract business and really stand out. Would I come back if in the area. I came here because I saw the cute Duck that floats on top of an Ocean Foam or any foam. When we walked in, I saw the Mini Teapots and forgot all about the duck! LOL I'm not even sure they still have the ducks, I saw it 6 months ago! The Mini Teapots started being offered on March 20th. They are called Mini Smoky Teapots or Magic Fog Teapots per their Instagram page. No matter what they're called, I was sold! The interior is clean, simple, and inviting. There were a lot of people in the store, but I think the drinks came out in good time. Orders are placed using a kiosk at the counter. Only one person or group can order at a time since there is only one tablet! This shop is located in a good sized plaza with free parking. Hubby got the Oolong Tiramisu ($6.75) while I chose the Lychee Wave ($6.00) with Coco Pudding ($.85¢). And we each bought a charming Mini Teapot for $2.85 each. I added a plain brown one and a pink Kitty face teapot. Too cute! The staff member carefully adds dry ice to the teapot and then water. Before he's done, fog/smoke comes billowing out. The show only lasts a minute more or less. We took our drinks out to the car and added more water for a little more fun! It was cool, but not as much fog as when originally activated. Now for the drinks. We both enjoyed our drinks. Hubby said he could taste the tea better in my drink, but he still enjoyed his. He got his with 50% sugar which is probably smart with the Tiramisu Foam. My Lychee Wave drink was made with 75% sweetness and it was still too sweet. I'd cut it to 50% next time. I really enjoyed it with the Coco (Egg) Pudding I had added. If you want a snacks, they also serve fried foods to go along with their drinks. I found this company on Instagram today. It just popped up on my page. What caught my attention was the cute little teapots. I love to collect miniature items , so I was very excited. First impression, it was extremely clean. I loved the entrance. Hubby asked if I could use the ladies room but the gentleman said it was broken. We used the kiosk to place our order. Hubby brought me after dinner. I was so excited to get my teapot. I ordered the Coco Pistachio with 25% sweetness light ice, hubby got the Coral Peach with 50% sweetness regular ice. We each ordered a teapot. The total came out to $18.75. The Coco Pistachio was perfect, the Coral Peach was good, it was just a little too sweet for my liking. My husband likes it on the sweeter side so he did the 50%, it was still delicious. Overall the drinks, price and experience was well worth the 22 minute drive. read more

Learned about this spot on Instagram and decided to pop over Saturday after helping a designer friend of mine at OC Fashion Week. I arrived maybe 15 minutes to closing (10pm) and holy cow - this place was absolutely packed! I asked what non-caffeinated options were available and was recommended the coco pistachio, which is essentially coconut water with pistachio cream. Very refreshing after a long day on my feet! Right now, Tea Nami has tiny teapots that "steam" with dry ice (see my video for presentation). Obviously you cannot drink dry ice - there's a disclaimer posted next to the register, but you can choose what color teapot you'd like: pink, green, or blue. I went with my favorite color (blue). Keep in mind there's a small charge of $2.85 for the tiny teapot. I forgot to ask for boba, but will try the next time I'm in the Westminster area (and maybe a green tiny teapot). Cute tea spot with garden esthetics. They have a variety of tea options but I hear they're known for their milk teas so decided to try them. I got their special Nami Jasmine and their Tie Guan Yin with boba. Their nami tea was on the more floral side, and tea was oversteeped so it had a bitter undernote. Their Tie Guan Yin tasted more like a roasted oolong instead of the iconic TGY tea taste. It was a good drink though, but just tasted like roasted oolong. Their boba was on the softer side, not as QQ chewy so it slumped up while trying to drink from the straw. Tea Nami is a nice spot for boba or tea. You can order from a kiosk or from the counter, so it's very convenient. Although it's a small shop, there's a lot of seating available for individuals or groups. I ordered the lychee wave and did not adjust the ice or sweetness. It was perfect! The sugar wasn't overpowering and from the first sip you can taste the fruity flavor of the lychee followed by leafy notes from the tea. My friends love this place and when I saw White Peach on the menu, I had to give it a try! I got the White Peach Milk Tea w/ Oolong Boba and made it 75% sweet. The white peach flavor is definitely there and not overpowered at all. I love how you can still taste the tea! One problem I'd not is that the oolong boba is too big and got stuck in our straw so many times where we just gave up and drank only the milk tea. There are so many boba places around town, but not all of them have good tea! We were looking for a spot to sit and chat after dinner when we came across Tea Nami. It was a nice surprise that Tie Guan Yin had a rich, bold flavor that really stood out. I was so excited to try Tea Nami, another Japanese-inspired tea spot in the OC area! It's located in a popular plaza with plenty of parking. I came on a weekday and was surprised by how empty it was, perfect for studying since they have free Wi-Fi. I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea at 25% sweetness. I usually get 25% for my drinks everywhere else, but at Tea Nami it was a bit too bitter. I also found the whole pea cans a little odd...maybe crushed would be better! The straw was just a bit taller than the cup so it was a bit hard to stir to mix everything together. The milk tea with oolong boba. I felt that the tea was not strong enough. New boba shop in town! Wanted to try something new to cool down during the hot summer weather. Nami Jasmine with Jasmine Foam - (3/5) Tea flavor is strong but you can tell they use quality tea. When I mean strong, I really mean it. A sip of this, and I already felt haywire. I got less sugar (75%) and that was my mistake - stick to the true sugar level, otherwise it'll be too strong/bitter. There's not much of a foam; it was more of a runny milky top, which didn't provide much of a texture or oomph to the drink. They give you a cute cooler bag for your drink! Service was friendly but a little slow since they're probably still working out some kinks. There's a lot of potential for this boba shop, and I'll be coming back to try them again. read more

Came over here with a friend after we had lunch. My intention was to stay and study but I decided just to get a drink instead. I should have gotten some boba to make the drink more enjoyable to drink. I saved the majority of the drink for the next day and yet I couldn't finish it. The place is small but has a few seats. It's clean as it is new. I did like that the employee gave me a drink bag upon my request which I thought was cute and it's reusable. Since I already had lunch, I didn't try their snacks. We got the Nami Jasmine (with jasmine foam) and Tie Guan Yin (with oolong boba). Nami Jasmine: Tea is strong. Very good. It reminds me of the 85C sea salt Jasmine tea. The Jasmine foam was ... confusing. It tasted like whipped cream and it was a very thick texture. I would skip the foam because it didn't add much to the drink and extra calories, plus you'll save 75 cents. Tie Guan Yin: Tea is also very strong. Very good as well. The boba was very hard and not fresh however. It was disappointing because with how many drinks were being ordered, we thought the boba would be super fresh. For grand opening they had 20% off entire bill. Five minutes after we ordered, we realized we didn't get the 20% off so we went to inquire and they said it was a ... system error? Yes there's a lot of boba tea shops to choose from around the area but you must give Tea Nami a chance. When I heard this tea shop is same owner as Hippo Loco, I actually didn't plan on ever trying it because I dont like Hippo Loco. Tried Hippo Loco a few times and it was underwhelming. However, Tea Nami is different and offers a different grade of drinks. I saw the menu looked different and I was opened to giving it a try while dining in the same plaza. Granted I've only tried two drinks so far (Jasmine & Tie Guan Yin) but it's good enough to know I have at least two favorites here. The oolong boba is also pretty good. I have been to Taiwan a few times and consider myself quite particular with what I look for in tea.Tea Nami is a great local choice. A plus is that they offer small foods. It's hard to find boba tea shops that offer some sort of food now days. As long as Tea Nami continues to offer the same quality consistency, I will be back again and again to support them. Grand Opening weekend was this past weekend, August 9th to 10th, 2025 from 11AM to 10PM. Decided to stop by Sunday, 8/10, actually got there extra early before a line was formed, but since there was no line yet, went to get breakfast and came back around a few hours before opening, at that point, was like 25 people in line. Once the place opened at 11AM, the line moved but it moved very very slowly. It took over an hour to get to the front to order my drink. The space itself is tiny and there were no restrooms! Although I like the center piece of waterfall, it was causing water to drip on the side and was creating a safety hazard. We saw employees mopping not once, twice but three times before they finally put a up a yellow safety wet sign. When I finally got around to ordering, was asked to provide a phone number which I didn't feel comfortable giving, so the cashier had to go back a step before processing the payment. I asked for recommendation between two drinks and ended up trying the secret flower, it was only okay, definitely not worth an almost 2 hour wait. I didn't get boba in my drink, but tried another drink that did have boba and it tasted like one of the worst tapioca ever. It was not good and dare I say undercooked and even raw as others said. I didn't get to try any of the food either, but giving the unsatisfying tea drinks, I'm not sure I'll want to come back to give the food a chance. read more
