I wish to commend Roberto Torres for his professionalism, outstanding knowledge and services at my home for replacement of a hot water heater. Mr. Parker arrived in a timely manner. He conducted a meticulous and unhurried inspection of my 14-year old gas furnace and then briefed me in detail on the issues he found and the actions necessary to resolve those issues. He presented an even handed comparison of alternatives: spending a moderate amount to bring an older unit back to satisfactory performance or investing in the greater cost of replacing the aging furnace with a new one. I am now considering which course of action to pursue. But I do so with complete confidence that he properly weighed the alternatives with my best interests in mind. The thermostat needed replacing. The technician let me know when he was on his way and arrived on time. He replaced it and answered all of my questions on how it worked. Price was reasonable. I've used Michael and Son for about 8 years for a wide variety of work on my house. The technicians have always been on time, cleaned up after themselves, solved my problems and answered all of my questions. Sometimes I thought the service was too oricy; other times it was fair. Our service technician Derrick was kind and courteous. He explained everything that was going on with our HVAC units and gave great advice. He was clean and did a good job placing booties on his outside shoes and cleaning up after he completed the work. We always have the nicest service providers with M&S and are on the "GOLD" service plan so service calls are free/no fee for the visit and advice. Derrick Kelly from Michael sons provided great service in my HVAC system annual heat check. He provided suggestions for improving the functioning with uv light, cleaned the outside system coils and provided a drain trap device to make easier water drainage. He helped us with working the thermostat, and most of all he was very thorough and explained everything that he was doing and what he was using and why he was using it.
