This was my first time here and Bre was the stylist who did my hair. I moved to the LA area 4 years ago and have bounced around between the AV, Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley areas. This is the first salon that has finally had me leaving completely satisfied with my hair! I called early in the morning to book an appointment to get a Balayage. I was able to get an appointment in with Bre for the same day. Bre listened to what I wanted and I showed her my inspiration pictures, which was a blond balayage on my dark brown, virgin curly hair. She did an AMAZING job taking her time and accommodating me. This review is long overdue. I went to the salon in the beginning of December with a mess of hair. My hair became so terribly dry after giving birth that it became a huge knot . Initially my hair was almost waist length and before I went to the salon I took the scissors and cut half of it off because I could not get a comb through it. My appointment was set up with Valerie. I felt bad because I thought that I would end up with something less than a pixie cut because my hair was just that bad in terms of the knot (I say knot because it literally was just one huge knot ball). When I sat in Valerie's chair and told her what happened she said "ok, let's go to the sink and try to comb as much as we can so that you don't end up with a pixie cut". I have no idea how she did it but she spent 1.5 hours conditioning and combing my hair. I lost a lot of hair but my hair ending up right at the top of my shoulders! I thought I would end up with a much shorter hairstyle if not buzz cut. I was completely in awe with Valerie's determination. I never imagined that a stylist would take the time to do what she did. I thought I would just sit in the chair and the stylist would just grab the scissor and get me out of her chair quick, fast and in a hurry but that's not what happened. Valerie is a true gem. They had good pictures and I wanted Valerie so I booked an apt and upon arrival I was with "Val" not Valerie two diff ppl. Ok .. nice salon= good stylists should be no problem. She was super nice but she said herself she'd only been styling a short while. 5 hours later and having to come back to finish the job I could tell. I'm fair so I went back, also what choice did I have. My hair was orange. But what she said should've only taken 30 minutes to correct and re tone took 3 hours trying to AGAIN find the right color. My hair washed out 3 days later which she said I wouldn't need a touch up for months. They said I should buy a water softener so it won't wash out this fast! I shouldn't have paid close to $300 for them to say oh well just pay more! I've had my hair colored before and I've never had this problem before. The manger offered a discount and recommended a new stylist to get the job done! I'd still have to pay MORE plus child care for now a 3rd day because they couldn't do it right the first TWO times! And the way they treated me about it was not right. They lack customer service and it's beyond me how they got away with it. They should correct this. read more

My daughter introduced me to this spa and I am so thankful she did! I enjoy my manicures done by Gina and I recently had a massage with Melissa. Gina is just wonderful to sit with and her work is perfection! My gel manicures are always neat and long lasting. Melissa's massage was fantastic as well! She was so professional and made me feel comfortable with the process. I was so relaxed afterwards I had to just sit in my car for a few moments before driving off!
