Sooo much better! Our first week of enjoying our new mater bathroom. We have a 1950s home and the master bath was just as old. Dated, dark, and gross. While we had to stay within the same size/footprint Michael was able to transform our bath to an updated marvel. The custom vanity is beautiful and the tile work just makes everything look better and seem bigger. The shower, which used to be a corner stall is now the full length of the bathroom. We had a plumbing emergency that required tearing up the tile in one of our bathrooms. After dealing with plumbers, insurance agents, and assorted fix-it-dudes, it was a pleasure to work with Michael. He was very flexible and fit us into his busy schedule. Unfortunately, on the phone, the minute he heard my kitchen budget, he became incredibly condescending. I absolutely didn't pull the figure out from lack of research either, in fact, I have quotes for everything I needed done EXCEPT installation of cabinets, and he was way, way off base. Michael did an amazing job transforming our 1920's San Francisco Victorian kitchen and bathroom into something more modern and functional, while still retaining the original charm. Updates included installing custom-made counter and cabinets, a dishwasher, sink, backsplash, ceramic floor tiles, and all of the electrical, carpentry, and plumbing that goes along with such an endeavor. These guys did really good work rebuilding some rotted framing and siding and paid close attention to detail to make sure it came out smooth and looked top-notch in the end. They also added the right protection to prevent rot from coming back. Just like going to the dentist to fix cavities and rotting teeth except without the pain!
