The space itself is gorgeous with terrazzo tables, rattan pendant lights, and a wall of colorful glaze swatches that make it feel like a creative sanctuary. We painted ceramics together and the whole experience was way more fun than either of us expected. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, checking in on us throughout without being intrusive. I actually slipped out mid session to grab drinks from next door and they had zero issues with us bringing them in, which was such a nice touch. And when we ended up finishing right at closing time, the team handled it with total grace and never made us feel rushed. The glaze color wall alone is worth the visit. There are so many options that it's almost overwhelming in the best way. Whether you're artistic or a complete beginner like me, you'll leave with something you're genuinely proud of. If you're looking for a unique, low key date spot with a great vibe and even better staff, Kitsch is it. We're already planning our next visit!

Love that you can bring in your own food and drinks while painting your ceramic. Love their selection of ceramics. They have a lot of cute ones from small to large. There is a price difference if you plan on choosing a bigger ceramic to paint. Once you choose your ceramic, staff will tell you how to choose your paint colors and how many layers are needed for a certain color to show. They're very thorough at making sure you get what you need. My girlfriends and I spent about 3 hours here. It was very fun. We got to catch up with each other during this period. Picking up our ceramics did take about a week. They'll hold your items for you for up to 60 days. Definitely a fun activity for all ages!

Before the cashiers were very friendly and knowledgeable but these days I find an error on every single purchase. I have to pay attention to make sure each item is charged correctly because if they finish the transaction, Jesus be with you, it will be a test of patience trying to get it corrected. I go here less and less and it's a shame because honestly it's very well stocked. The amount of items and selection is amazing but I can't wander around looking for inspiration since some employees are unfriendly and unhelpful if you can't find an item The selection and volume of stuff is amazing (yes I am repeating myself) They have home goods, frames, fabric, wood craft, baking, Cricut, blanks, paper notions, stickers, paint, seasonal everything, kids crafts kits, toys, party supplies, yarn craft, jewelry making, scrapbook, paints, floral. Pinewood derby supplies. I mean there's no end to what you can find here. I once found a Minecraft hamper for $5 on clearance. I got backpack hooks for $2. Old fashion lemon drops. Sometimes you have to suffer for what you want. In closing, expect poor customer service and make sure you pay attention to what you're being charged and bring your wallet there's NO APPLE OR GOOGLE OR SAMSUNG PAY

When you first walk in, you are greeted by a dragon and colorful parasols hanging from the ceiling. There is a store towards the back that sells some treats and a place where you can get more info on how to travel to Taiwan and sightsee through the beautiful country. The items sold here are pretty authentic and pretty cute. If you are a Lego fan, they have some cool brick sets that are Pokemon and anime themed. I think maybe adding a food hall in here would make it that much better. If you are in area and waiting for a reservation, stop by here to kill some time. They also have Asian snacks and drinks, souvenir trinkets and magnets, building block toys, little fortune telling thing like they have in Taiwan for $5, artsy stuff.. I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

I was avoiding going to a store like staples because I really wanted to decide all of the tiny details one on one with someone. That's why I'm so happy I found Paper wonders. Sue is an absolute sweetheart, who really cares about the client experience. When I first found paper wonders and gave Sue a call, she asked me what I had in mind for my invitations, and I told her we were thinking about a laser cut tree that opened up to the invitation. She understood what I wanted and had different samples and ideas laid out for us the same day, during our first visit. She is also great with working within a budget and is not pushy when it comes to add ons. I was tempted at some points to add cute add ons to our invitations but I had to remind myself that this isn't a wedding. However for my baby shower and wedding invitations I'm going all out! Lol :D Once we had some ideas going we visited with Sue 2 more times, and emailed concepts and ideas back and fourth. I was very particular on the spacing, symmetry and the flow of the invitation. She captured everything I wanted and helped made our party soooooo much better with our beautiful invitations. You can tell that Sue is truly passionate with her work and her clients and I just wish there was more small businesses that worked the way she does. Thank you so much Sue and to your team too! I also loved our conversations when we would get carried away and start chatting for 45 minutes or an hour lol I'll also add that Sue has a lot of knowledge in the party planning/ wedding industry. She has a lot of good tips for decorating and she even let me rent two of her backdrops from her for our party :D Anyone who is looking for some amazing invitations please give Paper wonders a try! :) You won't regret it!

Audrey deserves a round of applause for her lovely hard work ! There are not enough words to describe how satisfied and happy I was with my wedding invitations Audrey went above and beyond to give me the most excellent experience a bride could ever ask for! She was organized and professional and very easy to work with! BUT !!! What really makes her above and beyond is when I had received my final order and went home I realized that three of the wedding invitations were missing the rhinestone appliqués to it. I called Audrey immediately and she profusely apologized to me! She offered and even showed up at my house with her toolbox and by hand added the rhinestones to each invitation in my living room !!!! And then handed me a check of $100 as an apology!!!!!!! Who does that?! AMAZING AUDREY DOES! I was floored and humbled by such great customer service. I am sure I will never have such a great customer service experience ever again but I am sure glad that this experience was for such an important day! Thank you thank thank you Audrey!!!!!

More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Kim, for making what felt overwhelming into such a warm and lovely experience.

It's a pretty big and spacious Hobby Lobby…read more I don't usually go to Hobby Lobby as it's more convenient for me to locate a Michael's closer to me, but it's always nice to stop by when I get the chance too since there's always a mish mash of neat things that they have, either for cosplay, gifts for others, arts and crafts, etc. We're still 10+ days until Valentine's Day, but they were already clearing a good chunk of that out and all of the Easter stuff has been moved in. It's the same as any other arts and crafts store, you gotta be at LEAST 2 months early to get the best pick of the batch. Though on the other hand, you can get the super clearance items later on in the holiday season. I liked that there's lots of cute prints for their fabrics and different textures, seeing that most Walmarts don't have this anymore and Joann's is completely decimated. I think my main issues are all of the AI SLOP art that's being sold to those who cannot tell the difference and the fact that there was shoplifting randomly during our visit. Sucks, but yeah, it's mostly the AI slop that sickens me. I couldn't find anything that I needed during my visit, but my friend got some cupcake liners since the ones she ordered online were mini even though the website said nothing about the sizing, so she assumed they were regular sized. They, of course, had no Valentine's Day ones leftover, so she found cute bow ones. For on sale and clearance items, it works!
