Came here for some baking supplies. Got cake pop sticks here and some clearance Easter nozzles and piping bags. The line was a bit long seemed like they needed more help but generally everyone seems to check out at the same time so no harm done. Store is full of inventory seemed crowded. Use a coupon here if possible.

Almost everyone chose to do one with a couple exceptions. Even if you didn't do one you were able to seat with the group and interact. They have a vast variety of options and definitely something for every person to enjoy! The prices vary by the sizes of the items chosen and once you choose something, you select your colors. They have a guide to show how the will look after cured since the colors don't look the same as when you are applying it. They were only out of 1 color which wasn't a big deal. You get to choose up to 5 colors but since we were a big group some shared an extra color or two with others. We had about 2 hrs to work on it and once we were done we left them. About 1 week later the organizer brought the finished products into the office. This is a fun and unique experience for those who don't mind getting a bit dirty. The paint does easily come out with a wash so no need to worry.

I paid the non-refundable $200 fee for a birthday party expecting a designated party experience,…read morebut unfortunately it was extremely underwhelming and did not justify the additional cost. The "party space" was cluttered with inventory, drying racks, paper rolls, and painting supplies, making it feel more like overflow workspace than a reserved party area. The party table itself was barely separated from the rest of the store setup, which made the experience feel no different than simply walking in and paying the regular studio fee. We only had five painters, and honestly we could have paid the standard studio fees ($50) and received essentially the exact same experience. The only noticeable difference the extra cost provided was a chalkboard sign with a very sweet handwritten note to the birthday girl. I do want to emphasize that the two young women working were extremely kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best. My disappointment is not with the staff, but with the facility setup and the value of what is being marketed as a "party package." At the current price point, the space and accommodations simply do not justify the significant upcharge for what was provided.

I thought it would be special to paint together and it was! We visited on a weekday around 8pm. The girls at the counter greeted us, explained how everything worked and were so sweet and kind. We picked a vase, our colors and painted together. I received a call 3 days later that it was ready for pick-up! It was perfect!!!!! Something we will cherish for years to come! I will definitely return for a girls night or just a night out of the house. Super clean, friendly staff, easy parking in the connecting lot. You can also bring in any of your own food and drink! Wow! So happy I found this gem!

All the employees are helpful and kind. They check in a right amount, and do a great job not making you feel rushed. 10/10 environment. Their pieces change through the year, so it's nice to come back and find seasonal things to paint. The only downsides I've found are after the firing process is done. Some of our old pieces from when we first came a few years ago have crazing, which makes the pottery unsafe for food or drink. If you piece is for decoration, it should be fine. I haven't noticed it on newer pieces, so they may have adjusted the way their fire them. The second thing is that all my pieces, new and old, have pin marks from being supported in the kiln. It prevents a smooth surface, but also, I've noticed it's an entry way for moisture, which makes it unsafe for food and drink. One of my pieces held onto moisture after washing it because of the pin holes. All this to say, it doesn't deter us from visiting. We still love coming to Kitsch and will continue to visit. Its a great place to catch up, go on a date, or just hang out.

It was like an educational hands on field trip for us. Also a fun way to be more creative and collaborative with another ceramic studio. I had a fantastic experience last year and when I found out that we were going to be able to return this year, I jumped on the opportunity! They provide the glazes, the brushes and their expertise. There were several people helping us during this event. Every single staff member was an expert in Raku. They knew so much about their glazes and combinations, the entire firing operation, reduction and post firing procedures. There's a lot of down time while waiting for the kiln to reach its optimum temperature. We got to ask the staff all kinds of questions. They were eager to interact with us: warm and inviting, full of great advice and really knowledgeable ceramicists. Such great team work! They don't talk down to anyone, even praised some of our potter's art work. I loved hearing people share how they made their pieces, and I was proud to share my own story about the construction of my "bird bath" - as one of my fellow ceramicist called it. The participation between the two studios was phenomenal! Thank you Dave, Erik, Oscar, Mary, Darrell and Elise. Sorry that Scott wasn't with us today. You guys are fantastic!!! By the way, thanks to you, Dave and Erik, I absolutely love the way my pieces came out! Your patience and advice made my day. For those of you nay sayers, I've been doing ceramics since 1972, so I kind of think I know something about clay. Bravo! If I live long enough, I'll be back! A million stars for the Clay Yard!
