I don't gamble but this is where my money goes in Vegas no matter which location. Cuz my left foot was in a boot, We were happy to see there was a wheel chair with a huge flip over metal cart attached. While Doc was pushing me through the aisles, I was happily adding things to the cart. I'd point and she would retrieve the items for me one by one. Xmas items were 70% off but amazingly hubs didn't select anything. Valentines decor was 40% off- couldn't resist. My favorite aisles are the scrapbooking tools, acrylic and wooden rubber stamps, stickers and bling. When we rang up there were self scan check out yourself stations. My haul came out to $185- didn't realize it would cost that much... Oh my, oh joy... indulgence can be a good thing in moderation.

    $2.99 - Gildan t- shirts - youth & adult - boys/ mens- 6/30/25

We went to Hobby Lobby last week to check out their tie-dye inventory. Well, their t-shirts are higher. So, I noticed that in an email that I received, that Michael's had their Gildan heavy weight t-shirts for $2.99. Every year, we have a tie-dye project. I'm a mom with a budget, so this place came in handy, when we were in the area, recently (a few days ago), we planned on coming here. We bought three white tie-dye shirts. Our stringbean is growing, so we got him an Adult Medium. Also, Joann's (recently closed) is promoting Michaels, which I found to be curious, but I mention it here, because I always pass along information to you all.

Michaels has the best seasonal decor and crafts! I can always rely on this store to have what I need when I can't wait for online shipping. Their deals are pretty good too and if you sign up for their rewards they have extra coupons and rewards bucks. I try to reduce my spending at other giant e-commerces and support here. Seasonal items are generally released two to three months in advance. If you're looking for something specific I'd buy it immediately. As the weeks go by closer to the holiday they start discounting and in stock items are snatched quick and then gone by the actual holiday. I buy all kinds of goods here. Items like florals, Halloween decor, brown wrapping paper, paint, hot glue gun, wired ribbon for presents, floral green styrofoam for real flowers, etc. This location has the helium balloons now that you know what Party store is gone.

Clearly says the paints are 50% off. If the sale is over then the sign shouldn't be up!

Terrible customer service at the front! Such an attitude! Went in today at 10:30 am 1/21/26 and saw artist loft paints were 50% off in the aisle and then when I brought them to the front to purchase the sale didn't got through. The lady with glasses and brown hair had the worst attitude and she said that sale ended 4 days prior. Why was the sign still up? I thought it was you policy to honor what was posted. You wasted my time so I will go to hobby lobby instead. You lost a regular customer!

I've always bought items from Michaels they do have good beads n charms selections and frames etc. However this whole no one actually works the cash registers is driving me nuts. Why am I scanning my own items and bagging my own stuff? Then a staff member just stands there n says thanks for coming. Ugh I am so tired of working and not even getting paid at all if rhea stores! Not a fan of this new change at all-very impersonal. At least today they had a sale of 60% off but unless they are doing sales I guess I won't be shopping there.

My daughter loves going to Michales; at this moment her favorite hobby is bead making.. Came here to buy more supplies and suddenly they had a table with some workers facilitating a Bead Making session so we walked there and my daughter made a bracelet, there's a bunch of kids and their parents making bead with them. This kind of short events are great for kids I hope Michaels continue to have this pop up table of different crafts events that are free session for kids to enjoy... Cause it's really a nice touch and the fact that it's free it's great for family and kids to enjoy it... And maybe they will offer paid sessions for longer events for kids to sign up for painting? Crochets etc... Just an idea...

Juan in customer framing is a champion of customer service. He spent over 20 minutes matching correct replacement mattings for several vintage aviation pictures for my office. Price was fair as well. Thanks Juan, I will be back.

Experience: This is my go-to store, I live 10 minutes away. For the home projects and crafts that I've done, I have been able to find all the products I need. The store is organized, never too crowded. I've gone to purchase a few frames, for the style I went for, they have had exactly the color and fit I need. I haven't gotten anything custom framed, but I've only ever seen someone back there once. Selection: Good variety on everything! Never a miss. They often have sales and coupons available throughout the year. Good quality and value products. Parking: It's super easy to find parking right at the front of the store. The street isn't as busy to, super safe. Customer Service: It's eh. No one will go out of their way to ask you a question or for help, which I don't mind, since I like to wonder. When I have asked questions, everyone seem to be knowledgeable. I will continue to go here, it has everything I need, and parking is always easy. Plus, they have a Walmart and Home Depot and a bunch of restaurants nearby. A good shopping place.

Custom frame with anti-glare glass - print is Meet Me in Vegas by Madeline Kiel
    Kiana D.

I usually don't bother with reviews for big chain stores like Michaels, especially when I've been shopping there for so long, but I had such an amazing experience using their custom framing department for the first time, that I had to come on here and tell everyone about it! I purchased a very large (30x40) print from an artist that I love, thinking it was average poster size, and that I would have no issue finding a frame for it. When it arrived, I quickly found out that I was mistaken, and that frames don't typically come in these dimensions. I have never purchased a custom frame before, so was feeling pretty overwhelmed. In an attempt to price things out before purchasing, I went to Hobby Lobby, first, and they weren't helpful at all, so Michaels was my next stop. I was lucky to find that they had a 70% off special going on, and that made me feel even more confident in my decision. I knew I wanted something sturdy and simple, and likely a dark wood. They had a beautiful teal frame that caught my eye, but it was out of stock (I probably would have gotten sick of it anyway, so maybe that was lucky!). I was immediately drawn to the "Modern Walnut with Dark Lip" style that I ended up going with, but Michaels uses a super cool technology that takes a photo of the piece you've laid out on the counter, and then creates a mock-up of whatever frame you're looking at. This allowed me to try on a few other frames and really become confident in my decision. Their program also breaks down the pricing really clearly, so I was able to quickly see that anti-glare glass was only a small ($40, I think) upcharge, but changed the overall look of the piece so drastically. Pickup was also super easy. They told me it would take about 2 weeks, but it ended up being ready in about 1 and a 1/2. I was out of town when they called me to say it was ready, but they had no issue holding it until I got back. They even include hardware and hanging instructions! I was also able to pull my car right up to the front to load it, which was really helpful for such a large piece. Overall, Michaels and their staff took what started as a rather overwhelming and expensive process and made it an absolute breeze. I'm so happy to finally have this piece hanging in my home, and I'll definitely be coming back next time I need something framed. And a major kudos to Mya, the employee that helped me out - you're the best!

You have a 2 1/2 hour slot to finish your painting, which usually constitutes about three layers of paint. The tables for painting are a little bit tiny and shaky, and I found the brushes to be a little bit more difficult for detailed work. When you register, you have to pay a studio fee as well as a fee for the pottery that you will be painting. So plan to spend about 50-60 bucks for two people, depending on the size and item you select for pottery. It will take approximately 2 to 2 1/2 weeks to get your pottery back so plan accordingly. I definitely overall enjoyed the experience and would return to this location to paint something else.

We were so excited to take our kids here Friday night with a few friends. We had six kids and five adults. It was NOT a welcoming environment from the start. We had to book two tables even tho the adults were not making slime. They try to upsell you for the adults to participate and of course everything else to add in. Once the kids got started one of our friends was asked to move from a chair behind her daughter to the table. At one point the host left the area and our kids asked for help to stir the slime. We again were told we had to sit down and we could not help our own children. We were discussing how ridiculous this policy was and how ride the manager was within our own group. He then came back over to us and began to tell us he was being nice by allowing us to sit on the orange bench next to the table our kids were at, when technically it was for those signing their waivers (never mind we were the only people in the business at the time), he then said we were breaking the rules by discussing with each other our opinion of how he was treating us (we were not cursing, being disruptive just stating how absurd it was we were not allowed to help our own children!) He tried to say I was yelling at him when I never raised my voice but was only matter of fact with him, and when I tried to end the conversation and sit their quietly so my kids could just finish their experience, he continued to try and scold me and I had to repeatedly tell him "Ok" and just sit silently because he felt it necessary to be domineering after I said my piece. Our group was completely respectful the entire time and when other patrons came in toward the end of our session we moved as necessary to accommodate the rules. It was completely out of line the way he spoke to us, tried to control us, and try to intimidate us. Such a shame they have someone managing the business who is not welcoming and doesn't know how to speak to people appropriately.
