I also want to shout out the front desk staff. They have been super nice and helpful. Original: Office staff were very friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Robert Feldman. Although I felt he did a good job with the exam, the entire second half of my appointment felt extremely rushed. I specifically came here because I have had issues with my glasses prescription. When I asked if we could discuss my glasses, after he said we were done, he seemed very annoyed. He did take a look however, but his annoyance continued and he made me feel very rushed and unwelcome to ask questions. This is extremely upsetting considering I looked at many reviews and had this place recommended based on a community Facebook page. I am leaving with questions and concerns that were not addressed and will now need to come back because he already was gone immediately after my appointment ended.

First time going there today for an eye contact appt/ prescription …read more I asked dr. Friedman if they had samples and he said even if they did they don't have time for a fitting today..? Anywhere else I've ever gone they take the extra 10 minutes to see if they have samples in stock and if they do then they just do the fitment of the contact lens the same day. I asked one of the ladies at the front desk and they said he would have checked if they had in stock.. but I told them I don't think he wanted to even check... it turns out they did have the samples in stock so they let me take the samples but he needed to look at my eyes again with the contacts before he could give the prescription.. so they said they would ask if he could take a few minutes to do the "fitting" and he said no now I need to go back tomorrow for a 15 minute check so he can look at my eyes.. (when I was there anyway but didn't want to see if they had my prescription in stock) when he originally told me he'd call me back for the fitment when the trials came in in 7 days... he didn't even want to try.. and wants you to come back for 3 appts total before the prescription is issued. Stay away, lesson learned for us.

The adjustment was done and out I walked. Sometime later my wife told me that I had an indentation on each side of my head where the arms of the frames went. My glasses kept slipping and they were very uncomfortable. I went back for another adjustment and Michelle was working. Bottom line. The previous "adjustment" damaged the frame and Michelle replaced the frame and fit them perfectly to my head. I will keep going there but will make sure Michelle is working when I go. I was 32 years old when I got my SMILE procedure done at this facility. I had worn corrected vision…read morelenses since I was 15 years old. I had thought about doing LASIK (I didn't even know what SMILE was until I came to this facility for a free consultation) for a few years, but never came around to being serious about it until my employer offered FSA. I looked online, and this facility had the best reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I would never try to cheap out on a life-altering surgery on my only pair of eyes. Everyone that I had dealt with was extremely friendly. If my memory serves me correctly you will have your free consultation, then a few days before your scheduled surgery you will go in for another checkup and Dr. Haddad will walk you through the process. The surgery was pretty quick and went smoothly. When I got home I went straight to bed, woke up with some minor pain (I had forgotten to take another Tylenol), rested for a bit, and then went back to sleep for the night. The next day I went in for my checkup and everything turned out great. My vision is now 20/10. I didn't experience any of the concerning side effects (e.g., glows, difficulty driving at night) that some encounter. The only thing that I noticed is that my eyes were a little dryer than normal during the winter months (having your heater turned on will obviously remove moisture so that made sense) and this is easily remedied by using artificial tears (I rarely needed to use, but it's good to keep some at home). I would highly recommend to anyone that can afford corrected eye surgery to come here. Remember that you get what you pay for, so while this place may not be the cheapest, it definitely is worth the cost. Also for those that do not know, SMILE does not require the creation of a flap (quicker recovery time).

I told her that I learned more in one visit (for my son, not even an appt for myself) then I have learned in many years seeing other eye doctors. dr. Johnny absolutely takes time to explain everything to you about your eyes. I have been seeing another eye doctor and paying out of pocket for a reevaluation every year. Dr. Johnny said that that diagnosis/solution (prism) RARELY EVER CHANGES, so I don't need to keep going back and having it evaluated and paying hundreds of dollars. Holy crap! He also explained what macular degeneration is and what causes it. My blonde son with light blue eyes needs to be wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses as often as possible to prevent it in his old age. So those are just two examples of fantastic helpful friendly information I got in one hour. Not to mention, the staff is so nice and helpful. My husband and I both got awesome frames that we love and get lots of compliments on. (and by the way, just now my husband had an issue with his friends and they fixed it quickly and no problem!!!)
