I WANTED to celebrate our anniversary with professional pictures, and my husband looked at me with withering eyes and said, "Yes, dear." My mom and dad NEVER took pictures when we were growing up, and I want my husband and I to make sure we document our lives with photos. I found Majesta's work while browsing a wedding blog in late December 2012, and immediately emailed her! Keep in mind that I had only been married for three months by then, and I wanted to secure her for a September photoshoot in 2013. She was very nice; I'm sure she laughed at me in her head, but her email assured me that she'd love to take our pictures and to contact her once the date grew closer. Closer (in my eyes) was April 2013, so we emailed, secured a date, and that was that. I hadn't even met Majesta yet, but when a lady came to my house to buy my leftover wedding decor, I recommended she check out Majesta for her own wedding...and she did (and booked her)! Let's move on to September 2013... The day that we chose for our shoot ended up being rained out. I was soooo disappointed! Majesta handled it like a pro. She quickly responded to my emails, and even though she had plans to shoot another couple an hour+ away, she rescheduled our shoot for the following day (Sunday). She was prompt, professional, and easy to talk to. My husband and I both find ourselves to be unphotogenic, and after some massive weight gain post marital vows, we were kind of unsure how we'd look in front of the camera. Majesta made sure we had flattering poses, and she listened to me about my height concerns (husband and I are virtually the same height..:he's slightly taller on a good day). We received our sneak peek photos a few days later, and the rest of our photos in about 12 days if I remember correctly. Why should you hire Majesta? In addition to all of the reasons I just mentioned, she's caring and amazing. I love how I FELT while she was taking my pictures. I didn't feel awkward, rushed, silly, overweight, or ridiculous.
