When major appliances break, you want and need a fast fix. Oceanside Appliance Service Center did just that.

When the technician arrived, I explained what we needed and he immediately said it was $150. I informed him that Mark said it was $80 flat for the service. After an uncomfortable few minutes, he agreed to do it. The compressor requires 1-3psi of freon. The technicians initial measurement was at 0psi. When he said it was done it was at 0.2psi. Barely adding any freon to the system. As a result the fridge is still not as cold as it needs to be. The next morning after the service, I informed Mark of the situation and he would look into it and get back to me. Mark ended up refunding the service call, which was appreciated.

Igor was great (he is the senior technician that finally came out after many complaints and frustration). Maybe request him from the get-go to have a better overall experience. I wish I could give 0 stars. Avoid this company at all costs. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had trying to get my washing machine fixed. Our washer wasn't draining so we called Steve's appliance repair and they sent out a technician next day. He said needed to order a part and would come back when it arrived. 2 days later he came out and "fixed" the machine, but the first time we used it, it was still having the exact same issue. I called them 4 times over the course of the next 2 days to see when they could come out again and each time they said they would call me back... never did. I finally karen'ed them on the phone and they agreed to send someone next day. Well guess what, it's next day and they just called to say the technician is sick and they are not sure when he will be able to come out. They are offering no solution, and when I requested that they just close my file so I can use another service, they said no. We have now had a broken washer for a week and after many phone calls and texts, I am beyond frustrated and will never use this company again.

I attempted to return it immediately, but after waiting approximately 1.5 hours, I was told the system was down and to come back another day. On my next visit, after another lengthy wait, I was told to drive to AT&T to have the phone unlocked. AT&T informed me they could not help because the device was sold and controlled by Best Buy. I then returned to Best Buy and was told to wait 48 hours and try again. Over the course of multiple visits, my family spent well over 10 hours trying to resolve what should have been a straightforward exchange for a defective phone. The final visit alone took approximately 5 hours to complete the return, replacement, and data transfer. What is most disappointing is not that the phone was defective--manufacturing defects happen. The issue is the repeated misinformation, multiple trips, excessive wait times, and lack of ownership in resolving the problem. My wife and I have two young children, and the amount of time required to fix a problem we did not create was unreasonable. I have attempted to raise these concerns directly but have not received a meaningful response. I'm posting this review in hopes that someone from Best Buy management or customer relations will review this situation and explain how this level of customer service is acceptable.

After multiple follow-ups, I found out the part wasn't even ordered until Friday night. Once it arrived, I had to wait another 5 days for an appointment. I clearly requested a 30-minute call ahead... multiple times, so I could ensure someone was home. That never happened. Instead, the technician showed up unannounced, called me after arriving, and left when I said I needed 15 minutes to get there (the exact reason I requested a call ahead). I had someone arrive at my house within 5 minutes, and he was already gone. After multiple calls, I was told he moved on to another job and might come back later. Completely unacceptable. Zero communication, no accountability, and a complete disregard for my time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
