2pc fried chicken lunch and orange chicken lunch
Alexis C.

Ordered lunch orange chicken, lunch 2 fried chicken and jalapeño churrasco Their lunch specials are available all day long during the weekday so took advantage to try more things out. Plenty seating inside but seems like many get togo, I'll be back to try more things

Burnt Rangoons with no filling.

Visited this place today as I have came many times to pick up DoorDash orders on my side hustle. This food was absolutely disgusting. The only thing that was half was decent was the sushi roll (even though the shell of the shrimp were still attached) and the veggie fried rice (half way decent). Orange chicken tasteless. The sauce was dried out even though I live 2 miles from the store. The pepper steak was the worst part of the meal. Horrible disgusting smell. Soft and chewy nasty strips of meat. Fries nasty and cold. Rangoons overcooked with barely any filling. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS HELL HOLE.

Had a craving for "fake chinese food" (specfically orange chicken) while out in Houston and was surprised to find that there werent that many spots, until I found this place. The food is puerto rican and chinese fusion, so definitely different than what im used to but the food was great We ordered the orange chicken with pork fried rice, and churrasco with mofungo. This was my first time having mofungo and it was essentially plantains mixed with a lot of garlic and crispy pork fat. Food was extremely flavorful (although it could be better if it was a bit less salty) and they were pretty generous with the portions

The vibes are so great from the minute you walk in! Puerto Rican and Chinese fusion is a unique yet marvelous combination. The owner, Michelle, and her husband, Matt, are incredible people!! So kind, hospitable, generous, and extremely passionate about the high quality food and service they provide. We had the opportunity to try different items on the menu, opting for some of the most popular dishes such as the tostones, fried chicken, pepper steak. The tostones were addicting - fried and seasoned to perfection, pairing so well with the sauce. It has to be eaten fresh! The fried chicken was extra C R I S P Y. Simple yet so delicious. The pepper steak was saucy and tender, I'd get this again. The fried rice reminded me of Mambo's fried rice. It was packed with lotsa flavor. The 787 roll was another FAN favorite... topped with plantains, drizzled with chimichurri aioli, stuffed with steak... what's not to love about it?!! The yuca bites were good, but I wouldn't get them again just because of personal preference - yuca tastes the best in fry form. I tried the muofongo, and it was mehhh, not really suited to my taste. The texture is kind of yolky, and it's dry. Still glad to have given it a shot though and try something new! My friend ordered some takeout from Michy's a few weeks back and got their tofu and sushi pizza, and even those were DIVINE. The tofu was seasoned so well, and the sushi pizza was crispy and umami. Michy's truly lives up to the hype, and I'm excited to try their other dishes!!!

I went to this place when it first opened and the food was so good despite there being a long wait. I was in the area today and was craving good fried chicken. My family stopped by to eat. The value was good and the restaurant was clean but those were the only pros. The fries were old and cold. The rice was mediocre. The chicken was decent although it was lacking flavor. Overall, i cant say ide go back

"Whatever they lacked in authentic flavoring, they made up in quantity in a very large way." I first saw its ad on an IG reel which showed an Asian woman speaking Spanish which I assume is the owner of the whole operation. As a Chino myself, you won't see many of us speak spanish or come from Latin America. Over the years, I'll hear something about Michy's in the background and waited for a good opportunity to go, but finally I was able to try out this place last night. Very glad I did as this place got packed right after we ordered! This place is a fast casual place, and I didn't know what to expect. Some places turn for the worse when they become popular, but it looks like Michy's stayed its course that made it a pretty good household name. Pricing is reasonable for a plate of food. Most are going to be around $10-$14 which is the going rate for these days. As you can see from the pictures, you'll get mostly "cheaper chinese food" like fried rice and fries, however the portions are what makes this whole place worth it. Each container of food has mounds of it, which makes the pricing for these plates absolutely worth. We got the 4 piece chicken with fries and it came with a very delicious garlic aoili for a dip. Its also noted that they give you a very generous portion of fries with it. We got garlic chicken with fries and fried rice, and it was a heap of everything. The chicken was on point. Another dish was sweet sour chicken and tostones, the sweet sour chicken, was good but not the best, I've had better elsewhere but this was decent. The star of the dish was definitely the tostones. They get give you a generous portion of it and its so deliciously garlicy. I got the boneless BBQ with mofongo. The boneless BBQ is char sui, which isn't exactly the best char sui around but its good enough for my taste buds. They gave me a generous portion too, whatever it lacked in taste, made up for it in quantity. The mofongo was very delicious with its plantain bits and garlic flavor all around. This has got to be my favorite dish. The everything lo mein was probably my least favorite, reminded me of buffet lo mein. However it did give you a crazy amount. Favs: Tostones, Mofongo and boneless BBQ For an Asian fusion place, this place is it. Whatever they lacked in authentic flavoring, they made up in quantity in a very large way.

Flavor was good but overly salty. Basically Chinese take out with some Puerto Rican flair (mofongo instead of rice as an option, sides of plantains or tostones etc). Portions are HUGE. Easily enough to take home. You order at the counter choosing a meat and side. Overall average in terms of Chinese-style cuisine. Could get something similar closer to home.

I came to this place for dinner and I really really enjoyed it. We got a couple of signature dishes including the tostones, mofongo, sushi rolls, fried chicken and bbq pork and fried rice. In general, I love love love the tostones the most - it's such a good appetizer to snack on. The plantain chips are twice-fried, crispy, and salty layered with garlic sauce, and the dish goes so well with the creamy spicy sauce!! I also really like the sushi too - everything is cooked which is amazing. There are chimichuri steak and avocados inside. The soft steak combined with the crispy topping really elevated the texture. Fried chicken is pretty good too - I heard their fried chicken was top10 best fried chicken in houston and it's pretty true. Don't think there are many better spots out there! Lastly I enjoyed the bbq pork too. It is Cantonese style pork with a more creamy twist which goes pretty well with the fried rice. I like sweet savory meat so this really matches my palette. After this visit, I catered their garlic tofu once - my guests and I all enjoyed the food a lot. A lot of my guests end up asking where I got the tofu and I almost wanted to gate keep a little bit. But you know...sharing is caring anyways, that's it! Go with anything on the menu and it wouldn't go wrong!!

Service is quick and you get a lot for your money. Spicy beef was probably my fav. It was interesting having fries and rice with one meal. Younger me would say yay for double carbs now it's concerning lol. The restaurant it's pretty cute and laid back vibe. Great for dine in or to go

Shrimps were soft, no flavor, no spice, just noodles in a bland brown sauce. Service was slow and not friendly.

Once we arrived, the establishment was bigger than expected. The decorations were fun and vibrant. The first thing I noticed on the menu was how expensive everything was. I'm sure the only thing they didn't charge for was ice cubes. Although the food was okay, there is no way the portions matched the price they were charging. I officially had the smallest piece of steak I've ever seen on any bandeja dish. I'm sure this could be hurting them because of its location and having many other options for Latin/Caribbean food. The service was alright. When we first got there we just picked a place to sit and waited for menus. The first waitress barely said a word, no welcome, no greeting. Looks like she was getting ready to leave. The second waitress was a little more friendly however I still feel like they lacked customer service here. Needless to say they didn't have the pollo guisado, only bottled waters and soda cans. Be prepared to spend, specially if you come to feed a family.

This was our first time here so the menu was big and it had a lot of options to go through. Although some items were on the pricier side, they all looked very good and were worth to try. I got carne guisada with maduros, white rice and red beans as my dinner. We also had gotten salami con queso which came with tostones as an appetizer. The presentation was great but it made it a bit of a hassle to go back and forth between all the little pots as you are trying to eat. I love to mix all my food so that's what I said that. The guisado was a little too oily and over-seasoned, a little too salty for my liking. Overall I'm glad we were able to try yet another Dominican spot. Give it a try, there is something on the menu for everybody.

The menu looks great and has plenty of options. The decor is super cute and it looks like they have some work space available. My only complaint there was the seating. The chairs just didn't fit well under the tables so I was constantly kicking my partner since I tend to move a lot. Each dish that came out was very well presented. Maybe sometimes too much going on the table with all the cutting boards, cute little pots and pilón. On to the food! The salami con queso hit the spot but was not well balanced with the amount of tostones provided. Definitely needed more salami & cheese. The salsa rosada paired well. I followed with the mofongo de chicharron. The chicharron was perfectly cooked. The skin was very crunchy and had a nice chunk of pork. The way this dish is presented made it hard to eat as I normally would. Even after clearing the way, the mofongo was very dense inside of the pilón. This made it hard to mix in the accompanying sauce. To make things extra awkward, I felt as if I was being watched most of my meal. Maybe because we were the only patrons dining in but combined with the difficulty of eating my meal, it just made for a less than ideal experience.
