This is the first time I have been to this location as I have been going to the one downtown since they pretty much opened (2005?). I really appreciate the quality and consistency of the food, it is really good! I got my usual, the Giardino pizza with added ricotta and YUM. Fresh ingredients and made to order, it was worth the drive to check out. And you get a free birthday pizza, if you join their club, SCORE! Fantastic food and excellent, attentive staff! I've been dining at the Carefree location since it opened. So many great options to choose from! I love the pizza crust and the calzones! The crust is soft and chewy but not soggy. It holds up to multiple toppings or just one or two. The salads are all freshly made per order so for this picky gal, I don't have to pick out things I don't care for. I especially love their pasta and bread! It's warmed and with just the right amount of garlic and butter. I could go on and on with accolades that are well-deserved. UPDATE: Mici's management followed through on trying to "make right" on my previous experience and me and my family are grateful for it. We went back to them and got a couple of small pizzas and a calzone. My family enjoyed the pizzas and had no complaints. My calzone was great...however, I did have to add all the extra sauce that they gave me on the side (and, I'm not sure if they didn't add much/any sauce to the calzone initially because I had a side of sauce). Ordered the alfredo bowtie pasta, caesar salad and a pizza. Wasn't a fan of the alfredo sauce but the other items were good. Im giving 5 stars because I filled out a survery about not liking the alfredo sauce and was contacted by the restaurant to address this. To receive a personal response to something I didn't like was above and beyond my expectations. Are you hungry, starving...maybe ravenous?!?! Well your out of luck if you ordered delivery from Mici. Put your order in to a very confused and irritated person who will make a half hearted attempt to take your order. You maybe told that the order will be delivered within the hour...if within the hour means it's being delivered in an hour and fifty minutes. I could have made my own, put it in the oven, mowed the lawn, clipped my toe nails and taken a shower in that time. BUT...all that is merely an inconvenience. What I CANNOT abide is dishonesty. I called after a 1.5 hours and asked if maybe my order had been sent to Asia via covered wagon. They said they were a little disorganized and offered to comp us for the order. Yes....comp us for the order as in charge us for the whole mess. And the food was mediocre AND they got the order wrong. I guess ordering a side of meatballs means please take an hour and fifty minutes to deliver the luke warm food, comp us but actually charge us and then nah... forget the meatballs. read more

By far the best Antipasta salad in Highlands Ranch. Food is always fantastic, prices are among the most reasonable in the city and the service is always excellent. We come here regularly and it's solid, but it's not consistent. Frequently pizza is over topped and soggy, especially with the large, and the large takeout Caesar size varies pretty widely (might feed a family of 4, might be barely enough for 2). Pasta is usually a pretty solid choice, and the garlicky bread is oily and delicious. I love this place! I think my favorites this on their entire menu, though, is the antipasto. It is absolutely loaded and seasoned perfectly. I've had other things on the menu and everything else is very tasty, but I could make a meal out of one item alone. She is Gluten Free so finding a great pizza with this option is sometimes difficult best pizza she has had there calzones are amazing the dough is this and seems almost fried not thick like crust as most make them. I was introduced to Mici through a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" mailbox special that provided a free 16" cheese pizza for an online order. The ordering process was simple, I walked in and was greeted by 3 different folks and engaged in pleasant conversation and the pizza we received was incredible! My kids, who think $5 hot and ready is pizza couldn't stop talking about how delicious this pizza was! Ate at Mici's in Parker yesterday. Been enjoying the pizza & salads since the business opened. Love the chewy crust and the staff is always very friendly. But last time and this time the restaurant showed signs of needing some real cleaning - floors, table bases and napkin holders were really dirty. Kind of makes you wonder about the kitchen. We really wanted to like Mici's! Highlands Ranch needs a quick serve Italian restaurant & we were excited to try Mici's after church yesterday. Prices are okay...$27 for one entree, side salad, bruschetta, & 2 kids meals. {Saw a sign that said kids eat free Monday nights}. My youngest got a pepperoni pizza & it had so much stuff {cornmeal?} on the bottom of it that it took a lot of scraping & encouraging for her to eat it. My oldest had pizza as well & liked it alright. My husband & I split the Penne pasta with marinara sauce, pancetta, onion and crushed red pepper. We couldn't taste the spice of the red pepper at all. The marinara tasted okay but was greasy. Nothing great. We also split a caesar salad & didn't care for the dressing at all. The bruschetta wasn't what we were expecting, just bread brushed with olive oil & toasted with a marinara dipping sauce. All this said, we probably would have gone back to give it another try...but two icky things turned me off of Mici's for a long while, if not forever. 1) There was a Orkin Pest Control trap on the floor in the women's bathroom. I'm not sure what kind of critters they are trying to catch but several large bugs had found their demise on the sticky trap. I didn't look closely. 2) After our meal, I decided to order some gelato & as the man scooped the gelato into my cup, he got a bit of the gelato on his hand. He.licked.it.off.his.hand. If that's what is happening in full view of the entire restaurant, I'd hate to see what happens in the kitchen. Sad, because, like I said, we REALLY wanted to like Mici! Mici's says they are family friendly or kid friendly and they mean it. I just had dinner at highlands ranch location where a couple had two of the most obnoxious misbehaved children I have ever encountered. These children were screeching at the top of their lungs and running around the restaurant the whole time I was trying to eat dinner. Dinner at Chuck E Cheese would have been quieter. Ordinarily I wouldn't blame the restaurant for this but this couple- when I thought they were finally leaving- went up and talked with the manager. It was clear they were acquainted. While they were talking the kids continued to run around the restaurant and around my table screeching. The manager didn't do anything. $34.00 for two Mediocre pasta dishes, 2 salads and two cokes is not worth this aggravation. Continue to be family friendly Mici's, you have seen the last of my money. read more

The food is good, but ordering online during dinner is a nightmare. I ordered at 5:00pm and it said it would be ready at 6. I show up at 6pm to pick it up and wait about 15 minutes before finally asking for an update on my order. After this they finally print the receipt for my order and submit it to the kitchen. They had a full hour to prepare my food and after an hour fifteen, they finally submitted my order. There was zero organization in the entire restaurant. read more

This was our first visit and we ordered take out which is our standard for Friday night. Nothing was bad at all. It just wasn't good enough to want to go back. No specific complaint at all. The food was packaged really nice, the order was ready on time and the order was correct which is nice! We ordered: -A small pepperoni pizza -The meat calzone with 3 meats and I am sorry I can't remember the name of it -The calzone with Italian sausage -The Italian sausage sandwich -The lasagna -mini canoli -a cookie that was what I would call a lace cookie and it had chocolate in it The best part of the meal was the 2 desserts. My canoli was the best I have had in a long time. The calzones had a really nice amount of cheese. When you order online here ...it can get tricky. You get to order other ingredients from a big list but aren't sure what comes with the sandwich or the calzones. I would have ordered something else on the sausage sandwich. It was meat and cheese on bread. A nice amount of meat though. Perhaps a note on the online list of ingredients stating you can order 3 or 5 or something letting us know that the price includes more ingredients. I do love online ordering and theirs was good and a really fast confirmation email is always appreciated! The lasagna was good. The pizza didn't have a lot of pepperoni and didn't come close to the joy of eating pizza from Big Bills. Nothing bad to say at all. I guess I was just missing seasonings. read more

I'm not prone to hyperbole, so know I'm not exaggerating when I say Mici's has the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Better than Fat Sully's, Alamo Drafthouse, Sexy Pizza. They use Sweet Rice Flour and the crust has a taste and texture extremely similar to real bread. Very satisfying. Delicious food and WONDERFUL service despite not being a full service restaurant. They even refilled my water for me -something I have a hard time getting even at the "full service" places! The Primavera.. Every bite had a bit of spinach, roasted red pepper, onion, tomato or zuchinni along with the pasta..and was seasoned to perfection for my taste. First off they would not accommodate me asking for a smaller portion of food for my toddler so I paid for a lot more than I should've. Nice to have a pizzeria like Mici's nearby (Highlands Ranch) that tastes like pizza from a big city - think Chicago or New York. This is not a chain (though they have a few Denver locations) with the same predictable tastes - but a real pizza joint with excellent crust and great flavor. I'm from Chicago so I'm sort of a pizza snob - and Denver is a tough place to find really good pizza. I think it's the elevation or the dry air but the crust at most every pizza place is average - either bready or flavorless or both. Mici's does a nice crust. My only suggestion would be to go with larger pieces of hand pulled home made sausage and perhaps larger pieces of green pepper as well. Otherwise I recommend it. read more

We decided to stop in and try it out because it was near the movie theater. Stacy went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy to be there. The food was delicous, none of us had any complaints. The gelato was delicious I loved the peanut butter and Andes mint the best. I also enjoyed the natural sugar cane soda in the fountain. I came here for lunch with my girlfriend. The lady that greeted us in the door was friendly. Asked if we'd been there before & we told her we had not, so she directed us where to go & how to order. It's pretty much order & pay, then find a seat. We both got one of the lunch specials, half a panini with soup. I got the Verdura on wheat with Tomato Soup & she ordered the Tacchino on ciabatta with Tomato soup. They came out pretty quickly, mine was right but I think with the wrong bread (it looked very much the same as ciabatta) but I didn't bother asking or sending it back. Most places don't give you the choice so it was nice to know that Wheat is an option in the first place. Her's came out with the wrong soup & they were quick to correct it. The soup was delicious, and perfect on a cold wet day. The panini's were nice, little greasy but it is a toasted sandwich. It was good for less than $10 each. read more
