My Pasta Arrabbiata tasted pretty good as far as the base flavors went, but it was way too spicy. I know how that sounds coming from someone who ordered a spicy pasta dish. Truth be told, I am the guy who always asks for extra hot green chili and eats roasted jalapeños with steak. I love heat, but this dish was over the top. It was 5-alarm hot rather than a balanced kick, and it would completely ruin the meal for an average diner. On top of that, my breaded chicken was overcooked and dry. I am sure we will give them another try eventually, but I am not rushing back anytime soon. I really want to love this spot, but it feels a bit tired right now.
