Wow- NOT a friendly pharmacy for a new customer. Rite Aid is closing and I wanted to move prescriptions to Mickey Fine. All insurance info was provided and doctors will call in new prescriptions to Mickey Fine because they're "not sitting on hold waiting for Rite Aid to pick up the phone". Ok, they're busy, I get it. But I already had the doctors calling Mickey Fine to do as they requested. The pharmacist in charge the morning of 6/9/25 was so rude and not at all helpful. I won't be getting my medications from them. They get a two star because the pharmacy tech was polite. The pharmacist should bet a minus ten. Unbelievable. read more

Truly the most inept, disorganized pharmacy I have ever dealt with. You have to call multiple times to even get someone to answer and when you do, you usually have to call a second time to get anything done. I have no idea why anyone uses them. And try getting your prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy. Don't bother even trying. read more

I updated this review, added an update at the bottom and added 2 stars because the pharmacy took care of my issue. I understand Mickey Fine is a business and they want to make money, but taking advantage of people in need of medications is extremely unethical, considering that they are already getting paid by insurance companies. There is a shortage of this particular medication, so I called ahead and they said they had it in stock. I got the Dr. to send the prescription there. Even tough they said they had it, it still took several days for the prescription to be filled, and when it was finally ready and I went there, they added a surcharge of $85 even tough my insurance already pays for it. Because they made me wait a few days after they had said it was already in stock (without disclosing the surcharge) I was stuck as I had run out already. Otherwise I would have looked elsewhere. People in this country are abused by the whole pharma industry already and I can't believe this is legal. Something needs to be done about it. It may not be the pharmacy's fault, but the system needs to be fixed. UPDATE: The owner of the pharmacy called me after I posted the review. He explained to me that the insurance companies don't always pay what the medications are worth. I can understand that, but my issue is that I wasn't told in advance and once I was there to pick it up, it was too late as I had already run out. The owner is giving me a refund of the surcharge and I appreciate that. read more

But I forgot about contacting Mickey Fine Pharmacy, though I've been inside their building on N. Roxbury Dr often...and have also dined at their old school coffee shop many times in the past. And I'm here to say that Mickey Fine blew my mind with their excellent & outstanding customer service provided by Steven & Jason. And Anar too. Been having issues lately with pharmacies not providing good customer service. Also, not being able to obtain a specific item or they've either closed-down or sold-out to the big box stores. I prefer to support local businesses whenever possible - especially since they're becoming dinosaurs due to being forced to close down, because they can't compete with the large corps & publicly traded companies in today's world. The other day I called Mickey Fine, got through right away without any hold time, spoke to Steven, he was very helpful and kindly assured me they can fulfill my request, so I contacted my Doctors office this morning. Then a few hours later, I received a call from Jason, to kindly inform me my order is ready for pickup. And when I arrived, Anar, at the front counter, displayed outstanding & friendly customer service My old pharmacy used to provide text alerts for convenience, so now that I intend to be a regular customer of Mickey Fine, hopefully I can enroll in text alerts. But if not, I'm already very impressed with their 1st & 2nd impression and feel confident in my decision going forward to do more business with them. *PS* spoke again to Steven on the phone, and not only does he provide awesome customer support, he set me up for text alerts. read more

Having moved to the area from Glendale I was fairly convinced it was impossible for anyone to be worse at fraud. that creepy pharmacist here managed to do the impossible and prove me wrong. not only did they take advantage of a mentally disabled person but they made me pay for generic medication that was covered by my insurance and actually admitted they were doing fraud. don't think they were aware everything was recorded lol. oh, to add more humor, the genius actually gave me receipts for the fraud he did with the corresponding RX numbers to the meds on the receipt. kudos to being idiot of the year. and yes I saved everything dude. enjoy prison:-) read more

The best pharmacy in town. Staff and service is always on point. Easy to speak with a pharmacist via phone as well. If they are out of stock of a certain medication, they do their best to communicate when it will be available...unlike big pharmacies who don't care at all. read more

Beware the $250 private label semaglutide drops they are selling. The delivery system is not seemless so it is hard to deliver the correct amount of the thick liquid through the thin dropper. Product nowhere near as effective as injections. Of course, $250 is less than $1,000 shots. But the entire dispensing was terrible for me and made me feel I totally wasted my $. read more

This is a terrible pharmacy, would not recommend to my worst enemy. Improperly filled prescriptions, didn't answer the phone, rude to me and my insurance company. They tried to lie on the phone to my insurance and I was only able to catch them because I was on the line and they weren't aware. Terrible customer service- when they messed up, they blamed me for it. I rarely leave reviews on Yelp, but I feel compelled to climb the closest mountaintop (parking garage?) and tell the world just how impressed I am with Jeff and Neta (sp?) at Mickey Fine's pharmacy. I cannot remember receiving better customer service at any establishment. We have a very willful and amazing 6-year old daughter who is absolutely terrified of needles. After two failed attempts to give her a shot at a different pharmacy, including me trying to hold the little hellcat down, my wife and I were almost as traumatized as our daughter. And we weren't the only ones. I think the pharmacist quit his job and is now living out of his car. We had heard good things about MF so we decided to try one more time before I was going to sneak into my daughter's room in the middle of the night dressed as the tooth fairy and stick her in the arm. Upon arrival at MF, it appeared we were going to have a similar experience. My daughter didn't even want to enter the office. (She caught on pretty quickly that this wasn't an OMG doll factory like we told her.) All joking aside, Jeff noticed that our daughter was uncomfortable and spent a good half-hour calmly explaining the process, and said that she was not only going to leave today with a vaccine shot, but she was never going to be afraid of needles again. Ha ha, you're hilarious Jeff! But his calm, patient demeanor seemed to work. Our daughter would relax and even sit on her mom's lap, but when Neta would arrive to do the dirty work, our daughter would turn feral and bolt. After about an hour and a half of this, I was ready to start drinking. I pulled Jeff aside and told him that I didn't think our daughter was going to be capable of receiving the shot without being held down. It's not her fault, she is just too terrified. But Jeff did not want to traumatize a little girl - one that he had never met before that day. He continued calmly talk her off the ledge. He stayed with her for another hour, only stepping away for a few minutes to, I dunno, run his business? All in, we were there over three hours. There was a line of (mostly) kids getting vaccines, and we were taking up one of the rooms. Most business owners would have lost their minds with us, but Jeff never made us feel like we were imposing, nor did he ever raise his voice or look perturbed. Unfortunately, I did end up having to hold our daughter down because after 3 hours it was past closing time and we were definitely not going through this again. But due to Jeff's patience and all-around heroic efforts my daughter was not traumatized by the experience. She wasn't a big fan of the holding down part (at all), but afterwards she said she didn't feel the shot, and was smiling a second later. Jeff even let her pick a big candy bar from the huge rack in the deli for being such a brave little girl. Jeff, you are a saint. Thank you for taking so much time out of your busy day to help our daughter (and me and my wife), and to never make us feel rushed or inconsequential. You have a fan and customer for life. read more

If I could give lower than 1 star I would. My doctor called in a prescription and they said they had it in stock but it wouldn't be covered by insurance. I came in and brought a coupon to save 50% on the cost of the meds. The owner of the pharmacy proceeds to tell me she is charging me a $100 "service fee" (never heard of a pharmacy charging a service fee) and my options are either: pay the $100 fee or go somewhere else. I called ahead and they told me they had the vaccine that I needed in stock. I drove 30 minutes to get the vaccine. "Go through this door and to room 104 for the vaccine," said the pharmacy clerk. Room 104 is locked. I knocked three separate times and no one answered Room 104. When I returned to the front counter, the pharmacy clerk didn't seem to care when I told her that the vaccine room was locked. So I left. Absolutely terrible customer service and a waste of my time. I'm sorry I have to write that this pharmacy employs the rudest and most ignorant customer service helper that I've ever seen in my many years of life. He was completely unapologetic for my retuning 3 times on a period of two hours to pick up my prescription only to be crassly told (after the 3rd long wait), that they are out of stock. When I asked if he knew if their sister store on Camden had it, again in a snarky tone, he said he'd have no idea what they do in another store , with zero offer to call and ask them. Again, this is after them keeping me waiting for 2 hours , coming and going 3 times! I then asked if he knew when they would get it and he, now exasperated, shouted out that he has no idea when products come in, and then shouted "this is a controlled substance! ", and this was all done with about 6 other customers standing in close proximity with their faces looking either shocked or face down out of embarrassment. Shame on you, Mickey Fine Pharmacy, for not teaching manners, etiquette, and privacy matters to your employees. The staff is wonderful and caring, the inventory is such that they always have what I need, and the Grill's milkshakes are pretty awesome, too. I've had the pleasure of working with Jasmine for about 10 years in the area for my prescriptions. She is excellent at not only calling me on exactly the right date but had taken the time to coordinate all of my prescriptions in a timely manner so that I only need them delivered to me about twice a month. I'm a Senior and relatively healthy yet I take a good deal of medications to stay that way. She is juggling so much responsibility that it always amazes me that she has never gotten even one item wrong. She is on top of it all. She is always delightful, responsible and courteous. read more

Bad manners and public humiliation are things you should accept doing business with this pharmacy. They suddenly stop filling my prescription without my knowledge. When I called to inquire the pharmacist and the owner treated me as if I owed them something. When I asked why they are not filling the prescription, they first said they have a new policy that I would have to take all medications to them and that is why they did not fill the prescription. When I told them I don't have any other prescriptions anywhere I was told my prescription has no more refills which is not true because it was renewed less than two months ago. They also told me they don't have it in stock. Too many stories that didn't have a ring of truth. All of this conversation was while I was being treated with disrespect. She finally hung up leaving me stranded for a much needed prescription. If you depend on your meds, I suggest look for a more reliable pharmacy. read more

I really love this place. The little diner inside of it is so classic and makes me feel so happy - it's so charming. The staff here are the best. But, PLEASE add more vegetarian/vegan items. Even the salads all have meat in them. I have always tried to patronize local, family-owned businesses whenever possible. I have been both a customer of the pharmacy and a guest of the grill for years, long before current owners purchased it. I know most of us have been stressed out one way or the other these last months, but Mickey Fine has been getting it wrong longer than that. I refused to accept the last filled script because it was incorrect. When I spoke to Doreen to order the script I made sure she understood that the fill was for 90 days, not 30 or 60. Because my scripts have been short-filled on several occasions (and incorrect drugs), I called up before I came in to make sure the counts on both scripts were for 90 days--they weren't. One was only a 30-day fill. When I asked the counter person if it could be corrected quickly, he said "No." I didn't want to wait around the pharmacy on a busy Saturday while MF tried to correct the situation, nor did I want make a second trip or pay for an additional delivery for MF to get it right... not my job. In a recent article the owner was quoted, "... any pharmacy can fill a script, but MF provides customer service." If this was the first time, I would overlook it, but this has been the case enough times that I now call ahead to see the status of the order and if the counts are correct. It sincerely pains me to make a change as the convenience of a local pharmacy is great, but only when the scripts are correct. There are probably 50 other pharmacies in the Beverly Hills area who can get it right--every time. On another note, I don't appreciate being lectured on how to take my medications or go into detail about my medical conditions. That is between my doctors and me. I never heard of an insurance company that penalizes a pharmacy, doctor or patient from changes in medications or treatments and I don't appreciate your reprimands when you don't really know what you're talking abut. read more
