Mickey came over today for some wall repair (settling cracks in the dry wall as well as removing/patching large picture nails/hooks). It's a massive relief to find a handyman nearby who checks all the boxes: good communication, prompt, clear with (and sticks to) the cost estimate, polite, careful with the floors and furnishings, cleans up the work space after, work done exactly as specified. The scope of work was a couple cameras, smart doorbell, security panel and a motion sensing flood lamp. There was also a fair bit of electrical work that had to be done to accommodate the setup. I've worked with Mickey on and off for the last 4 years. Not only is he extremely kind and pleasant to be around, but as a captain, he kept his boats meticulously cleaned and maintained and took great pride in his work. Mickey was awesome! He installed a dishwasher into a 95-year-old house that had never before had a dishwasher. He cut out a chunk of the cabinet (with super clean lines) for the dishwasher to fit right in, did all the necessary plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry... it was really impressive. And he didn't leave until I was completely satisfied with all the fine-tuning, adjustments, leveling, etc. It works great and looks like it's always been there.
