    No no no no and no. While my dad was checking out having finally gotten the correct laptop (the first one he bought was not correctly described in its listing and we bought it believing that it had an Ethernet port. We ended up buying a different machine after several stupid wasted trips.) David asked for the restroom. It was clear that he was asking on my behalf. The woman who answered sneered at me and said "we have no public restrooms." I've been here before. This was her responding to me. Shaming me. Condescending to me. Looking my fat body up and down, scornfully Of course her co-workers stood up for her when I took her picture. They chased me and demanded that I delete the pictures. They told me in a desperate ploy "we have no plumbing." I pooped in my pants. I hope they all enjoy the life they deserve. If only it had been a few seconds earlier, we wouldn't have bought anything from them. My dad always loved this place-- primarily for the books, but that section is so small now that if you blink you miss it. I guess reading is out of fashion. The cashier was nice. She had nothing to do with the incident. I grew up in Chicago, tragically. Let me tell you a little bit about this place-- if you are fat you will be treated like trash. I can't wait to get home to Nevada.

    I just had a custom gaming rig built by Kevin. He did an amazing job and I couldn't be more happy with the transaction. I live in Washington state and had a lot of concerns spending the kind of money I did but the pick up went smooth as butter. Will definitely be going back for future needs.

    I got the opportunity to work the initial repair tech to get my computer repaired. The poor communication I had with the repair tech and lack of professionalism really made it hard for me to trust that area at Micro Center. The third time I came in the repair tech that worked with me called, Jonathan Sinkovits, sales supervisor. Jon was by far the most professional person I have been able to work with and communicate with. He told me he would call me when he finds out what was going on with my computer. He gave me all the information and solutions and even recommended what I could do for repair. Jon really helps someone feel comfortable and does what he says he will. Jon definitely should the the store manage as he has a great understand of customer services and all aspects of what Micro Centers values are.

    Micro Center, as discribed by my husband, is a nerds heaven. So many different parts for your computer, in beautiful color options and even tools to help you learn to code. There were aisles upon aisles of products that I had no idea what they were but my husband sure did. I really wanted one of the light up colorful keyboards but it's not what we were there for, so maybe next time. They did well keeping up with covid restrictions, having someone help with hand sanitizer at the entrance, arrows guiding people thru the store and lines on the floor to keep people distanced while in line. The line also ran fairly smoothly and quickly, even when it was at least 10 people long. I am confident we will be back here and next time I'm definitely getting things to make my computer super colorful.

    When I moved to Chicago seven years ago I had no idea where to shop for a new laptop so I asked the IT guy at my company and he recommended Micro Center. It turned out to be such a good recommendation! I purchased a Toshiba laptop then and recently went back to buy another laptop, a Lenovo. Even though several years had passed from my Toshiba purchase and my recent Lenovo, the customer service and the selection of laptops on hand were great! Both times the staff patiently answered my questions and provided all the information I needed to feel comfortable in buying a new laptop. I also think Micro Center offers a pretty competitive price for the quality. The store itself is pretty dated inside, but I'd rather deal with that and save on the price of a new laptop! It's a no frills kind of store with a lot of computer laptops, equipment and gadgets.

    Do they teach people new to the PC community how to mod? I like the ones I've seen in resident evil 2 and have no idea how to do it on Alienware.

    They do have build your own events. May be similar to what you are looking for. Anyway you can always call them and ask.

    I had an older IPad that was experiencing a significant reduction in battery life. I brought it to…read morethem 5 months ago, and they recommended battery replacement. This appeared to address the issue, as the battery life improved for a time. Then the problem recurred, but so this I time I was informed that analytics indicated that the battery was fine, and the issue was with the age of the IPad. They were dismissive of my inquiry as to why the battery life temporarily improved, and implied it was likely never a battery issue to begin with. While I don't know whether this is an issue with the IPad or the new battery, regardless I believe that either the battery shouldn't have been replaced without a caveat that it would potentially not address the problem (upon my return I was told that they had no record of any analytics performed on the original battery) or a battery replacement or partial refund should have been offered.

I had it replaced, but now, at 9:20 PM, the exact same issue has occurred--it won't turn on, and it won't charge. What did you charge me $149 for? Did you conduct a quality inspection after the replacement, or did you just swap out a part without verifying if anything else was wrong? I'm extremely frustrated and can't do anything about it until Monday. I feel like they just wanted to charge me $149 and sell me an unnecessary insurance plan, yet they can't even fix my device properly.
