I rolled into Midas for an estimate for a Break Flush. The Cashier was busy w a Customer so, I told him I would be in the Restroom until he was done w his Customer. I noticed a few things different from the last time. The had that this cool bright hot Pink Soap in Restroom. They had a nice toilet paper holder that includes a place to hold your phone and a historic photo of Midas. It was so clean in there too. A Break Flush was 100.00 plus tax and he said, he couldnt do it today because, he was booked. So, I wasn't able to get a Brakeflush just check out there clean Restrooms. I usually got to the dealership for my oil changes but they are now $130. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I walked in the guy didn't even say hello.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thought that was weird but I made an appointment for 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I showed up early at like 1:55pm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The guy who did my oil change told me he checked my cabin oil filter but funny how he only showed me the engine oil filter. He never even took the cabin one out because none of my stuff was moved. Or was in the exact same place I left it. He didn't even ask if I wanted to change them the filters were disgusting. This shop is lazy and lie about the simplest things. Sad what the world has become. You can't even trust someone to change your oil and tell you what else needs to be completed. It had been awhile since I got an oil change due to the horrible economy. I will be learning how to change my own oil. I am also taking my car to someone else just to make are they actually changed my oil. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! I visited this business approximately one week ago for an oil change. I have had oil changes at this business countless times. Every time that I have had my oil changed at this business. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store manager and/or owner updated me on the status of my car and recommends a new air filter, windshield wipers, etc. This time they did not which I thought was strange[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but I paid for my oil change and got in my car to leave. Upon entering my car, I immediately knew why they were trying to quickly get me out of the business. One of their employees had dropped something on my windshield and cracked it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was concerned about confronting them myself as a woman so I called my husband. He went by the business to present it to the owner and/or office manager. They never denied it but only stated, "[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]Well, we don't ever have tools on your windshield." When that didn't appease my husband, they defiantly stated, "Well, you can't prove we did it." BUYER BEWARE!! I went in for brakes in mid 2021. When i went into a different midas for an all around check i was told that my rear brakes were low. I was then informed that the brake pads put on where the lowest quality they offered (they did not ask about parts options at time if replacement) and that is why they did not last long. The rotors (which were also replaced at the same time) have already started to rust to the point of replacement. Very poor quality parts. read more

If I could give a lower review for this business, I would. A month ago, I brought my vehicle in to have front and rear brake pads, as well as front and rear rotors replaced. My charge was a flat $125. This week, my wife had to take her Mazda into Midas, as my schedule did not allow me to do so, and she was experiencing some major issues with her braking system. After the diagnostic testing, my wife was quoted an amount that exceeded $1,000 for parts and labor for front and rear brake pads, rear rotors, and a brake flush. This is astronomical, right? I advised her that we would purchase our own parts and pay Midas to put them on, since they did a great job with my vehicle. My wife was charged $388 for exactly the same service that I received for car the prior month. In fact, I had front and rear brake pads and rotors, where my wife only had front and rear brake pads, and rear rotors placed on. I followed up with the Manager, Eddie, regarding this matter. Eddie advised that my service had been entered into the system wrong, I should have actually been charged more, and no one ever admitted that they were simply taking advantage of my wife, a woman. Blame was placed on the individual who inserted the invoice for me previously; even though I know the same staff was working. Eddie gave me a refund of $57.50 for "an overage charge for an extra half-hour". This only further raised my suspicion. You cannot trust anyone anymore. I do not want this to just come across as a rant, but I will be taking this matter to a higher authority. read more

The Saturday AM crew worked on my vehicle. I came in for an oil change. I had a confirmed appointment for 10am. When I arrived, the man behind the counter did not have the appointment on file and after I showed him the email confirmation, he told me I did not confirm and that he would work me in, maybe in 30 minutes. It was off-putting, but I didn't make a big deal about it. I left the shop and came back within 40 minutes to my vehicle being worked on. The guys did a courtesy check and noticed my tire had small lacerations where the belt was causing damage and cracks throughout the tire. I authorized the suggested replacement tire. An hour later, the man behind the desk informed me he was sorry I had waited so long, that the replacement tire they thought they had on hand was not on site and that they had to leave and retrieve a tire from the warehouse. I wish I had been informed of this before they left, because I needed to do other things with my day. I would have set an appointment and returned for the tire replacement, but being told after the fact (an hour later) about why I had been waiting that long, upset me and I will not be back. I was not kept informed about the progress of my vehicle. The team didn't bother to show me where they had installed the new tire, so that's guesswork too. And to top it off, the man who handed my car off to me did not tell me where he left the keys... All that, paired with the man behind the counter telling me I didn't set an appointment after showing him the confirmation, really sealed the deal for me-- customer service at this location needs some work. The misinformation and lack of communication are the key reasons for my poor review. read more

The battery light had started to flicker so i had bought my last few Interstate batteries from the midas on Alta Mere so stopped to get it checked out. They tested and it was the battery and it was still under warranty. Jesse offered to replace and give me credit for what was still on the old battery but it would cost $20.00 for him to put in.I stated that i would put it in. I have been coming here for over 10 years. I've only ever been treated with the best customer service. No matter if it's Eddie Martinez at the counter or Jessie stepping in, just hands down they have the worlds best Techs!!! Heck if you live close and the shop can spare a man for 5-10 mins they'll take you home and call when it's done and pick you up if there is no way to get back!!! Hands down there are only 2 shops I use and this is one of them. Horrible experience!!!!!! My husband took his blazer in to get a catalytic converter. Halfway through, they checked to see if they had a gasket for it. Of course they didn't. They said they would have to order it. It had to have something, so my husband had to go show them how to splice a different one on so he could take it home. He called several days later and they had not ordered it and there was no notes about it in the computer. They finally got it in. I took it in assuming it wouldn't take very long and I would be on my way. I get there and they tell me they are going to charge me an extra $28 for the gasket. What?!! It was supposed to be included in the work we already paid them for. She said, "Well, it would have been free if we had it in stock, but because we had to order it, we have to charge you. It is VERY bad business to charge a customer for a mistake that the person in charge of keeping things in stock screwed up on. We will NEVER go back there again and I would suggest that no one else go there especially if you are a woman. They are just waiting to rip everyone off!!!!!!!!
