I've been coming here for years to get my oil changed and I always get great service. This last time though it was the worst service ever! I went in for an oil change like usual and after they checked out my car they tell me that 2 of my motor mounts are broken and that they can replace them for $900! I may not know a lot about cars but I know motor mounts aren't more than like $65 each. So I told them no thanks and that I would have my dad check it out. After my dad took a look at my car he told me that my motor mounts were perfect. Not even a tiny crack on them! I can't believe Midas was trying to have me replace something that wasn't even broken! Went to Midas for an oil change today and on another previous occasion. During both visits, my car was taken into the bay within 5 mins of arriving. My car was done within 30-45mins. I just have experienced the best CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I've been too this Midas location a couple of times and their service is phenomenal. I was there yesterday and had my oil changed. They got me in without an appointment and were great. I got home today from work and noticed in my garage oil leaking. I called their office and Jason said he'd be right out. Yes, Jason, the awesome owner came to my house to check my car, make sure things were tight etc. He was here in record time from Hayward to San Lorenzo in about 15 minutes. Thank you Jason!!! You'll see many of the reviews here reference the trustworthiness of employees here; I can attest to this. I brought my last vehicle here and was advised of a transmission issue that the model was experiencing. (I was already aware of the issue). There was no attempt to make money off of me, but to simply advise me to keep an eye on it; I was also told what other folks had done with their vehicles. Started bringing my car here a few years ago after getting tired of taking my car to the dealership for maintenance where I usually had to wait hours over the estimated time. At this Midas, I like how they show me the parts that need to be replaced and appreciate them explaining things to me. I just get tires from them now too. Gustavo and Fernando you guys ROCK! I came in to get my suspension fixed on my mom's Honda Accord since it was bouncing way too much on the road. Fernando took a look at it and figured out it was not the suspension but a missing stud on the left side (View: facing the car from the front) that was causing the problem. This place rocks! I visited them for the first time for oil change. The minute I walked in at around 5:20pm, I asked the Office Manager if it was too late for an oil change. He said that they take their last customer at 4pm. So I was going to book an appt. for the weekend, but decided to go ahead and take me in. Raymond (Office Mgr.) and Emmanuel (Mechanic) are the best! I went there to get my car scanned for engine light. I let them know exactly what was up with my vehicle. I let them know I had ac recharged before and it doesnt work. I needed to know if it would fix my problem. So they chrarged me $180 . They said scan showed no problems....thats false because I later checked myself and there are 4 error codes. I got absolutely NOWHERE. and at a loss of $180. I thought they were nice....but nice was a total loss. The owner Jason who rung me up ..when I finally got him on the phone he sloughed me off to the unexperienced mechanic. I was planning on going back for other services but now I wont. When I get car fixed I will see how they act on checking for leaks and recharge at no cost. read more

These guys broke my inside driver side car handle door (which I had to pay them to fix) and told me I need to spend $1,100 to fix up my car, when all I needed was new spark plugs. I would give them a zero star if I could I took my car three months ago . I took my car three months ago they did such a poor job with my oil change that my car was leaking they put tork seal on my car and called it a blue marker then when I called and asked to speak to the manager Sean or John was super rude and defense and accused me of doing something wrong said someone else had temper with it was really rude and offensive yelled at me over the phone and did not offered any apologies or whatsoever. I took it into this Midas and they fixed it up and gave us a great deal. Loved the service and loved the honesty. For my car I just went in for a simple oil change and they pointed out so many things that needed to be changed like the air filter and battery. Spent $70 at another mechanic just so he could tell me that my brakes were bad. The other mechanic wanted a lot of money to fix them and I didn't feel comfortable spending the money yet, so I called up Midas to compare pricing (Midas was cheaper) and get a second opinion. The inspection was free and the people at Midas were very clear about all of the work that needed to be done. I wasn't happy about all of the love my car needed ($$$), but Midas made it as painless as possible. They threw in a free oil change and hooked up a couple other discounts. My water pump has small leak. So I called different Midas to compare the price. They have the best price, $365 plus tax for everything. So I have my car done here. On top of that, they also give me 10% off for the Yelp checkin. I also got a 10% off stamp for future service. That was really nice. Jason, the owner was very helpful. I called about 5pm on tuesday afternoon, explained my issue, he told me to come in right away and were willingly to take a look for free. Once I got there, entire staff were very friendly and took a look at my car at once. Being a typical girl, I do not know much about cars, they explained everything step by step, even taking me to the car and showing me what the issue was. Owner, Jason even printed out pictures for better understanding of what they were doing. Had everything done in 30 min. My oil pan thread was damaged, they re-threaded with new coiling and bolt as well as change my oil/filter, all in 30 min. I was greatly appreciative to EVERYTHING THEY DID!!! Customer service at this place is amazing, I'd give them 5 stars for that. The staff in the front are super attentive, welcoming and helpful. I was there to get my brakes looked at and spent about an hour there while I waited for them to give me the run down, price and my ride to pick me up. I was there with my two kids in my big ass double stroller! They were beyond courteous with me which I'm now realizing not a lot of places are, some spots get really annoyed when you bring your kids in with you. Also I saw them help out one guy who came in asking about a part they didn't carry, the worker called about 4 other shops trying to locate the part for this guy and get him as much info on it as he could. Overall I had a good experience the only downside is I would consider them to be a bit overpriced, I know I could have gotten the work done cheaper somewhere else but this place is super close to my house, had a next day appointment and still looked at my car when I showed up 4 hours late!!! read more

Meet the owner named Jason Panchal and was probably the best customer service anyone could of asked for! Was super helpful with informing us about our battery change and changing it out. We also asked for quotes on different repairs for our Mazda and he was super quick on that as well with good detail about the parts and warranties. Really friendly along with the whole process and gave us a free calendar! He was super nice too to give us a discount for the cost of the labor!
