The time to make this right was when it happened, not when you found the negative review on Yelp two months later. Your staff and service techs are helpful and kind, and like I said, this was a big but honest mistake. The reason I am moving on doesn't rest on any one person's shoulders. It's how the whole thing was handled. Being nice doesn't make this right. That's the bare minimum any customer should expect from a business they spend thousands of dollars with. Over a dozen years, I've probably spent close to what I paid for this truck there because it's turned out to be a bit of a beater. I was really surprised no one caught the fuel in the oil. I smelled it as soon as I realized my engine was overpressurizing and I pulled the dipstick out to check. I'm surprised no one sat with a fuel gauge on for 5 mins after shutoff because that's all it took for me to realize it was overpressurized and not underpressurized like we'd originally thought. I am also really surprised that over the course of a year, no one went back to the original repair when the issue started. I figured this out and I'm a dude who knows jack about fuel pumps. IMO, the first step should've been confirming the right pump was put on and that it was working correctly. I would've assumed that was part of the troubleshooting, but it obviously wasn't. I wish no ill will toward your business and I hope my experience causes a review of your troubleshooting and customer experience procedures. You could've done more to right this wrong. You guys were really good to me for a lot of years, and I want to explicitly say thanks to Mike and Evan for putting up with me and my stubbornness. They're both solid dudes. I see my issue as a systemic issue with the way the business operates, and I have confidence you'll figure this out and improve it. I hope Terry's thrives in the coming years! I've updated my review to 3 stars after some distance form my initial reaction to the whole thing.

Another employee informed me--very rudely--that he was currently selling the Grom to someone else. Six hours later, I finally received a Facebook message from the original salesperson telling me what I had already been told. This is unacceptable customer service. When a customer expresses clear intent to buy and is willing to place a deposit, the dealership should communicate promptly and professionally. Instead, I was ignored and dismissed. Being that it was Sunday on Veterans Day weekend, not a lot of mechanics were open- but this location was. I called to check if they offer PPIs and Shawn answered and confirmed that they do. Even better, it was free (whereas all other competitors were charging $140 to $200). After an expensive weekend of car issues, just saving this money was another huge relief. I was able to drive the car up without an appointment, and Shawn and his coworker were so friendly and thorough. They went above and beyond and found everything wrong with the used car (there's always something) and even compiled a formal list of issues for me.
